The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Movie Poster

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Cinematical have posted the official movie poster for Disney’s The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I wasn’t really a fan of the first film, but the footage that Disney premiered at Comic-Con has given me new hope for this sequel. It appears that they have tried to pump up the plot with more action sequences, which was one of my main complaints about the first adaptation. Check out the poster after the jump.

  • Finally :) I hope i'm not the only one looking forward to this movie :)

    Sam S.,

You're not. I'm looking forward to this movie as well!
  • Jeni B.
No. No you're not. I was hoping this would happen! *happydances* =D =D =D
  • Sam O
Yes, you are the only ones.
  • Gordon
"they have tried to pump up the plot with more action sequences" . One of the great things about the first film was that it moved at a pace that allowed characters to emerge and wasn't just a sequence of action sequences as too many films have become. I, for one, hope the comment above is inaccurate.
  • So, is your complaint that they did, or didnt pump up the action? I assume you mean that your main complaint was the LACK of action, despite what your wrote.
  • Andrew
Interestingly: in the actual book that the first film is based on, the big climactic battle scene at the end -- was actually about a paragraph long. I'm rather glad that they extended the scenes as much as they had.

As for Caspian, I'm hoping they have 'artistic liberies' as well :)

I wonder if they will pull a Harry Potter on us and make all 7? Think they have the audience for it?
  • Aj

I liked the first one. But now Im afraid... That looks like Hayden Christianson...Is this Prince Annakin?
  • Ty Graham
That's a little boy with swords! This world is messed up. How can anyone be shamed about the little boys in Iraq killing solders when our own society perpetuates this nonsense.
  • Satan
Are the only people looking forward to this movie Chirstians?
That is just a hunch tho.
  • Craysh
    @Ty Graham

If you can't tell the difference it's kind of sad.
You honestly think that teaching a kid to cut off the head of an "infidel" or blowing themselves up to kill a few soldiers and civilians is a nominal parallel to a movie where kids fight with swords?
  • Needs more lens flare.
  • Craysh
Screw lens flare, Aslan needs more cow bell!
  • asdadksdf
