i assumed Juno was directed by the same guy that directed Knocked Up, which makes sense as how the same goofy kid stars as Juno's boyfriend... but this is not the case, and the movie ended up having a unique style

If you watched this, watch "Jenny Juno" on youTube. It's a Korean Film. This is way too similar movie to Juno. How could they make the SAME name of the guys with the STORYLINE as WELL?!!

This movie was amazing. Now one of my favorites. Ellen Page did an excellent job in making Juno come to life. If you haven't seen it, please do. It's definitely worth it, "honest to blog." :)

Okay, first of all, jojo, check your spelling. "was'nt verry good?" Second of all, if you knew you felt that way about a pregnant girl in high school, why did you see the movie? I think that this was a wonderful movie that was entertaining, but at the same time didn't make light of teen pregnancy. I think you should keep the bad comments to yourself..

I watched both movies Little Miss Sunshine and Juno and loved it. Both movies are about real problems in our society and how each family solves problems instead of losing themselves. I saw many parents with their teenager kids when I went to see Juno that was great.

My goddness, what can i say about this film. It's Fantastic, it teaches teen pregenant People like myself the Way of Juno. In the Movie she's great, I'm very happy that they got the right actress for her. Ellen Page is Amazing, she's one of the youngest actresses to get nominated for theAcademy awards. (she's a Unique actor.) Her co-star, Micheal Cera went very well with the film too. But We've gotta Thank Jason Reitman, because he made this film with his diriectory. I hope this movie is getting alot of awards because I truly believe that it does deserve it's winnings and teaches alot of teens the way of Juno.
this movie will help alot for people who are in the postition as Juno(Ellen Page.)

i've seen juno and ellen's performance was outstanding. there's no other actress who can justify Juno the way she did. this is a brilliant film and i wanna watch it again! its soundtrack is playing over and over my head for like 2 days already.

it's similar to that korean film jenny, juno -- but it's not a rip off or a remake. diablo cody said she was unaware of its existence in 2005 prior to Juno, which was just released last year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenny,_Juno although i'm just wondering where these 2 films got "Juno" for a name?

Having seen both "Juno" and "Jenny, Juno," I can safely say that not only are the two movies nothing alike, but also "Jenny, Juno" is possibly the worst Korean film I've ever seen (although the actors are adorable). The boy (while aggressively cute -- I'd almost forgive the movie everything just for the chance to look at him for two hours) is unrealistically weak and passive, the ending is ridiculously pat and happy, the ENTIRE WORLD is totally supportive of them(except the parents) -- their 14 and 15-year-old classmates stage a little wedding in the gym and you are supposed to believe that this solves a problem of some kind, it ends with everyone holding hands and singing (I wish I were kidding) -- and most ridiculous part is how they keep showing this girl in her underwear, at supposedly four, five, six, seven months pregnant and going on and on in the dialogue about "What's wrong with your stomach!" and "Oh I'm so huge!" when you can patently see that her tum is so flat she has a sixpack. Then there are long boring stretches where nothing happens except "cute" scenes like riding in a boat or taking purikura pictures. It is completely impossible to suspend disbelief -- it's the Disney version of teen pregnancy, complete with musical numbers. It's irreponsible. It paints an insanely cute and rosy picture of teen pregnancy. After excellent Korean films about youth, like "Take Care of My Cat," "Jenny Juno" is intensely disappointing.

"Juno" is far more like a younger version of "Knocked Up," except less cynical and with more pathos -- the laughs are sweeter. Plus, the solutions are realistic and the pain feels real. And it's still not a ripoff -- c'mon, how many hundreds of movies in the world have dealt with pregnancy? Call it a ripoff of "A Summer Place (1959)" then!!!

Movie was terrific. Made me laugh and cry...great take on a serious subject....mainly, the idea that the main character had more presence of mind and maturity in her situation and maintained her sense of being "16" was what made this movie great. Terrific acting all around.
