I'm just so disappointed in the public people.

This is a phenomenal film with accomplished directing, polished and professional acting, and an outstanding performance by Jodie Foster. No one else in the world could have reeled an audience into this story the way she has, and we have her and the director to thank for commanding the screen in such a talented and masterful way.

I, for one, am gravely disappointed in our "Males under 25" of society. They skip out on a movie showing any sort of female empowerment, and opt instead for grotesque movies that exploit women as sex trademarks. I'm glad they missed out on the brief sensual scenes in this film, because that is likely all their perverted minds would have enjoyed.

Not that I can even blame these young men, as this is the type of thinking we breed in our society, but I beg for revolution. It's time to celebrate each other, instead of acting as fools in any manner we please. If someone calls you a fool because you're passionate, let it slide. If someone knows you're a fool because of how you live, wake up.

Jodie Foster deserves only our highest adoration for her performance in this film, and it's director deserves at the very least, our gratitude. Thank you to Neil Jordan for presenting the real side of this life in a way that makes every viewer pause for reflection before moving from their seat.

Hollywood will make more movies geared towards my demographic.
