Due to the Labor Day weekend, news is at a standstill. Warner Bros has announced that Helena Bonham Carter has signed on to return as Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth film adaptation. Carter is the first name outside of the main three that has been confirmed for the film. Although, I’m sure that the mainstays like Alan Rickman will also return for the sixth film. The sixth film is by far the least interesting of the series, so I’m not expecting much. Filming is scheduled to begin in two months as Half-Blood Prince is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21, 2008.

How is it the least insteresting of the series when it hasn’t even come out yet? The sixth BOOK is awesome and reveals a ton about Voldemort’s past AND it has a shocking unforgettable ending.

I’m glad somebody besides me is having problems seeing why people seem to love HBP so much. Seriously, NOTHING HAPPENS in that book. I thought it had so much going for it when Malfoy smashed Harry’s face at the beginning, but then the narrative settled into nothing more than a long high school drama. Every once in a while we learn some more about Voldemort, which was interesting, but will be incredibly boring once translated to the big screen. And yes, the ending was really cool, but I don’t want to wade through 2 hours of dialogue and snogging to get to it. This might be the first HP movie I skip until the DVD comes out.

I thought the seventh was the worst because the ending was awful. All that anticipation just to discover that they all get married and have kids. Boring. I wanted to at least find out what the characters had gone on to do. All we got was the characters’ kid’s names.
Plus harry dying and coming back to life was wordy and unbelievable in keeping with the feel of the books.

Hi, I´m brazilian and I don´t understand what you said. But about Helena Bonham Carter, well… I don´t like her, cause she was Bellatrix (and I hate her), but it´s will good, she will be in the 6th film. I think they don´t find another womam better than her. And what do you think about the Half-Blood Prince ?

Helena bonham carter is the total best oe can you dislike her. she isnt afraid of who she is! and she’s abrilliant actress.

hola Helena Bonhan Carter sabe es una excelente actriz al principio cuando te vi por primera vez en la pelicula de Harry Potter y la orden del fenix no sabia tu nombre y la tenia como la que mato a ciryus black x la risa que hizo al correr cuando dijo yo mateeee a ciryus blackkkk y admire su actuacion y despues la volvi a ver en charlee y la fabrica de chocolates y cuando vi la pelicula del barbero desquiciado supe su nombre y lo multifacetica que es al actuar la admiro y estoy pasando unas imagenes suyas a mi telefono celular para ponerla como protector de pantalla bueno me despido deseandole suerte en su fantastico trabajo actoral y deseo volverla a ver en muchas mas producciones de la meca del cine usted es miembro de la realeza del cine

well i like all the books and i love the last 1 exept the fact fred dies he was like totaly freekin awsome i wa very sad :( i tried to make a list of how many peeps died in it but i lost count when my piece of paper was full. apart from the deaths i love the book plus they add some depth to it. but im soooo exited about the 6th movie eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! im so exited
ps im obsesed with harry potter books, harry potter movies well preety much harry potter in general:D
