Lionsgate has finally released a teaser trailer for SAW IV. And like any good teaser, it shows us very little, while making us want more. I’m still amazed at how little we’ve seen or know about this film, at this late stage of the game (two months before release). I’m still very unsure if this one will be any good. And if it was any good, don’t you think they would flaunt some photos or footage to get the horror fans excited? The low key approach worries me a bit. I barely liked the last one. Jesus Christ SAW is getting so old. If I hear that fucking theme song one more time im gonna cut my foot off. “Its only just begun…”, wrong asshole, its been dragging on and dead for a while.
Saw 1 was good because of the one room, the mystery, the eventual foot cutting, and the fresh idea. However, Cary Elwes almost ruined it for me with his SHITTY acting. He is good in other things, I never really got why he was so bad.

If it’s Halloween it must be time to waste $9 on a SAW…
SAW 3 was the only movie that i have ever actually walked out on…and I’ve seen some disgusting movies in my lifetime (The Planet of the Apes remake for one)…so the only way ill be utterly wasting my $9 is if I am either held at gunpoint or am very very bored.
In closing…SAW was a solid GOOD…not amazing…not the greatest horror movie since The Exorcist…it was a good horror movie with solid characters and a very nice twist…these new sequels honestly do not do the original justice…seriously… SAW 3 was on par with JAWS: The Revenge…

I admit Saw 2 was not very good. But Saw 3 improved upon the Saw series. The Saw movies are not all that bad. There are some good creative decisions and well written scripts throughout the span of the trilogy. Do I think we need 6 of them? No. I hope the 4th is the last one and will serve as a epilogue.
Here’s my general consensus of the Saw series. If there is a story to tell, then continue forward. If not, then drop it. So far, the series has continued under that general assumption and each film is justified with the fact that there is a story to tell. And the fans enjoyed it. The prospect of Saw 4 is tiring to some of the fans who are unsure of the story and where it’s going. The folks at Twisted Pictures know what their doing and I’m sure Saw IV will be a well written and well rounded film to the series. From there… I don’t know. I would hope Twisted Pictures would stop the film series if they felt there was no story and the series was heading for overkill (i.e. Halloween, Friday the 13th, etc). We’ll see what happens though. The future is not written and anything can happen.

Saw 3 was terrrible, and this movie will probably be worse. Probably the stupidest twist ending imaginable will occur, like Daniel becoming Jigsaw.

What most do not understand about saw 1,2, and 3 is that it is all 1 test… More like one Movie. If any one watched the end of 3 they would have known a 4th one was bound to come out. Why is that it is because even though the Jigsaw is dead and his apprentice is expired the last test was not completed. I am hopefull that this one will be as sick and twisted as all the others but the trailer bothers me a bit. If my understanding of the movie and story is accurate this will be the last movie. If it is not then any thing after it will be pointless.

to all these people out there bagging the Saw movies, if you don’t like it then why are you wasting your time looking up a Saw website and watching the trailer, you have to much time on your hands. I’m a horror movie lover but the Saw movies are so much more and get better each time, bring on Saw 4!

Actually it SHOULD have been just a single stand alone movie. It would have retained some dignity and actually been a good horror movie with an excellent twist. However, as is the case with most successful movies these days (even ones from the 80’s) since it was financially successful it is currently being pumped for all that it is worth. Hence the 3 subsequent sequels…plus up to 2 more if they keep doing well.
Which is why I implore you…fans of the SAW series…fans of horror films…hell fans of film in general…DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
If no one sees it then hopefully the studio will take a hint that people do not want cherished movies tarnished with lackluster pure cash cow sequels.
If you loved SAW do not see SAW 4!!!!!

Saw movies are by far the best horror movies out there, i really dont understand why people go on to a website about saw and plan to make there point about how bad it is. YOU CANT WIN! More than half the people that go to a SAW WEBSITE are looking for new info. or trailers. People that go on websites just to bash the movies should really get a life. Id like to see anyone make a horror movie with a awsome plot like saw’s. He makes people fight for the life they’ve been wasting. If I ever find a horror movie with such a awsome plot there is no doubt that i will be on there webiste wrighting the same thing. I’m currently watching all the Saw movies… ramping up for Saw IV. I guess I’m geeked with Halloween approaching soon. Nevertheless, I have to agree with most of the responses on this site. Saw I was by far the best as more movies are made the quality drops drastically. In Saw I, Danny Glover gave a steller performance and the situations were grewsome. I only hope Saw IV & V can keep us guessing and shocked like the first.

I think the saw movies dont get worse they just change.
The first one had alot of tourture scenes but the second one was a combo or diffrent people shareing the terrif! all under one roof. The third however is all about the main charecter.

I mean, in SAW III, jeff was alive, and screaming, and he didnt see the other detective in the room when it got locked, so how in SAW IV the detective kills jeff, i mean im comfuse :S

Im a huge fan of jigsaw! I was so excited to see him in saw 4(even if they were cutting him up). The saw movies always amaze me because there plot is so diffrent from one another. They keep coming up with diffrent ways to make people fight for there life and i love each and everyone of there movies equaly. Well…. maybe not the 3rd. I didnt care for that one to much but i think the 4th was so good it redeamed the saw movies and the awsome theme song. Saw movies are and always will be my fav. horror movies even if there is people out there who try to piss off fans by going to the website and talking shit. But love is stronger then hate and we LOVE SAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People like alot of movies that by no means makes them good…want an example how about fucking Glitter…im sure some people liked that. Saw WAS a good movie…im not bashing hat one. Im saying that they are making them worse and worse to try and capatalize on the success of the first one and that the people suffering are the fans. So unless you want them to make saw 7,8, and 9…which will most likely be on par with Nightmare of Elm Street 6 and Jason X…then im saying that people should stop seeing them now to avoid that disaster.

Well we all feel bad for you zak, spending a whole months allowance to go see saw 3. But you really need to think of this logically, You are taking time out of you’re day to bash saw 4 which you haven’t even seen. But guess what, I HAVE. It was intense and exciting and definitely one of the best! The plot was different , there was new people and even more terrifying tortures. So if you’re so sure that u can stop people from seeing this movie go ahead. Take an hour a day to think of ways to bash a great movie but no one will really listen to you. If people want to see one of the best horror flicks out there they will spend time and money to sit in a theatre and later on by it on DVD no matter how hard you try to stop it. So go ahead waste energy and time trying to stop something you can’t control. More power to you. Even if you fail miserable.
