Well, as much as I am totally stoked about a JLA (Justice League of America) film, the thought of Brandon Routh and Christian Bale not being part of it really begins to turn me off. These two have become the 'faces' of their respective franchises and for Warner Bros. to do a film without them should be a crime. Why does Warner Bros. need to make a film so quickly utilizing these two characters, after/before films are scheduled to be released with those two characters on their own? I'm sorry, with all due respect, Warner Bros. is cashing in, with apparently no regard, loyalty or consideration of these characters. Nobody has to tell a Superman fan how badly written (and almost completely non-canon) the Smallville series is, regardless of its popularity, and how Warner Bros. has turned its back on being true and faithful to the official Superman story. They won't allow Bruce Wayne to appear in Smallville because of the film franchise, but they ARE willing to make a blockbuster film (JLA) using the same character with a different actor. Talk about hypocrisy! It seems to me that the almighty dollar has the greatest super power where Warner Bros. is concerned.
