Ryan Reynolds has long been the rumored front runner to play the popular DC Comics superhero The Flash in a big screen adaptation. But the project quickly fell to the wayside. Reynolds now tells MTV that he might put on the red tights for the Justice League of America movie:
“‘The Flash’ isn’t dead at all. There’s talk of it being a JLA movie, the Justice League having them all together. And then there’s other talk of doing a ‘Flash’ movie with [director] Shawn Levy,” Reynolds told MTV. “[it] might, yeah. I don’t really know how much I’m allowed to talk about that stuff. But I’m sure they’ll figure out something. It’s no secret that they have a JLA script and it’s a project that’s in development – the contents of which, who knows. We’ll see. I’d love to see a full on Justice League movie done, the scope of which is just enormous. I think it’s something they can pull off.”
So maybe the project is being fast tracked into production after all…

I hear they’re going to make a kiddy version of JLA to appeal to the teen crowd. Ryan Reynolds. I’m afraid, is too old to play a 12 year old Flash. Get the boy who played Kid Flash in Smallville instead.

Why would Kid Flash (Bart Allen) be in a JLA movie? He’s Kid Flash in the Teen Titans, not Barry Allen or Wally West (The JLA Flash and the only 2 worth considering).
Not counting Jay Garrick, Wally West would be a decent pick for Reynolds if this gets a green light. He was great as Hannibal King (Blade : Trinity), I don’t see why he couldn’t be the Fastest Man Alive on screen.
But .. Like Mr. Sciretta said this maybe very sidetracked due to studios wanting to get the most bang out of their buck, ala making flicks based on the chars, not an ensemble. (They’d get less per picture that way).
Just an opinion. (BTW, can we get Goyer or Geoff Johns to write this? It would be awesome.)

I just don’t see how you can have a movie without the actors that play superman and batman currently. It would be like having a Wolverine movie without Hugh Jackman now…….pointless.

tom welling can’t act.. he’s only good in grimacing and giving that blank innocent stare.
i think it’s a good choice to repick, i was against routh since the start anyway. let’s hope they don’t mess it up a 3rd time.. give us someone awe inspiring, someone bulkish and manly! come on!

they should stick w/ routh n bale, and reynolds is probly the best for flash. but green lantern should be no one else but micheal jai white. dude is hella tight, n i think a rapper would jus mess up the movie…………. oh yeah! jenn garner for wonder woman baby, it jus makes sense.

I think Reynolds is good for Barry. Wally shouldn’t be the first one anyways.
And David Boreanaz for Hal Jordan!!

i agree that if they make this movie, they should have the same actors who played batman and superman in the recent movies. i would not want to see the movie if there is anyone knew playing them. once again it would be pointless. and most of all please do not make JLA as kids that would be so stupid!!

They should have the flash be Berry Allan, he was the best flash he knew EVERYTHING about the speed force, AND i think they should make the Green Lantern Hal Jordan and i think Mark Wahlberg would be awsome!!
