The teaser movie trailer for Harold and Kumar 2 is now online. The new movie follows the due on a cross-country adventure as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists after they try to sneak a bong on board a flight to Amsterdam. The teaser shows a bit of how that flight goes awry and yes, NPH (Neil Patrick Harris) is back!
There is a jab against Eurotrip, and a tasteful clever 9/11 joke which plays on the fearful American people (unlike the many totally tasteless 9/11 jokes in Uwe Boll’s Postal) I’m also very surprised to see them calling the film “Harold and Kumar 2″ as opposed to “Harold and Kumar Don’t Go to Amsterdam (or whatever)”. I had read some early information about the story, vein of the jokes, etc., and was a little worried, but that teaser has pretty much alleviated all of that. Phew.
