I’m honestly not the biggest fan of The Watchmen, as Alan Moore can be very much hit-and-miss with me; some of his work seems to wander so far towards convoluted I have to put on hand lotion.* Regardless, it has a year until it comes out, during which time we have several other superhero films to distract us. No disrespect but that’s a damn lie. I’m not a big fan of Thor myself, but man if they can do Conan right and make it something in the early 80’s they can do this. It’s all about the quality of story and execution. Hell man Blade was a low budget character and they made that something. Anything is possible.
