According to DH, Simpsons Producer/Writer James L. Brooks claims that there was 166 drafts of The Simpsons Movie screenplay. Is that a new record for Hollywood?

  • If the movie made me laugh 166 times, I'd be impressed. Instead, I'm stuck rubbing my chin wondering how even a dozen or so drafts couldn't have made a movie at least half as funny as any episode from season 1.
