I'm not big on the teen movies necessarily but I've definitely seen worse trailers. I actually liked some teen movies like "Bring It On" and "She's All That" so I've learned to be cautious and only judge after I've seen something. That said, regardless of what I think, I'm probably not their target market (unless they're hoping to reach 30-something males). If anything the trailer for Sydney White just looks a little too cliched to me, but, then again, just about all movies are cliched to some extent these days. I don’t know.
