I’m sitting in Hall H for the Paramount panel, so this is a quick update. Paramount has given us the new posters for the JJ Abrams produced monster flick code-named Cloverfield and his upcoming Star Trek prequel. It looks liked “Monsterous” has been removed from the poster. I wonder if Paramount had secound thoughts about the potential title? Check out the images above. Click on them to enlarge.

You can clearly see the path that the monster took from Statue of Liberty to Manhattan. Looks like it just plowed its way through since a whole chunk of the building where it landed is missing.

Okay, i figured out what the 1-18-08 movie is about. If you look at the clouds in the movie poster with the statue of libery’s head cut off you see the clouds look like a giant turtle head. Some rumers have been going around that the movie is going to be about a giant turtle. I personaly think it’s going to be about Godzilla, but whatever. Please comment on what you think!!!

doesn’t look like a turtle look above where the statues head was looks like a skull. It also kind of looks like Jesus with the crown of thorns with a cross underneath. Don’t know if its deliberate or were just seeing things but look again.

If Star Trek is anywhere near as well thought-out and beautifully produced as Cloverfield is then I’ll be over the moon. J.J. Abrams is a genuis when it comes to suspense and teasing the audience.
