We’ve made it very clear that we’re extremely excited to see Ben Affleck’s feature directorial debut Gone, Baby, Gane. The trailer looks amazing, Kevin Smith says it’s “a total award contender.” Miramax has provided us with the film’s theatrical movie poster and two new production photos. I love the tagline “Everyone wants the Truth… Until they find it.” And the Boston skyline is not on enough posters. Check out the new photos and poster after the jump.
Gone, Baby, Gone is an adaptation of the Dennis Lehane (Mystic River) novel about two detectives in search of a 4 year old girl that has been kidnapped in Boston. The film stars Morgan Freeman, Ben’s brother Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Ed Harris and Robert “brother of Donnie and Mark” Wahlberg. Gone, Baby, Gone hits theaters on October 19th 2007, just in time for Award season.

A movie with Ed Harris, and Morgan Freeman starring Casey Affleck! Oh, and directed by Ben Affleck!? Nice… Kevin Smith is usually on th emoney with his movie reviews but he also is a homer for Ben Affleck since they are friends, and Ben in his eyes cannot do any wrong… So I don’t take his word on this movie to serious… I’ll still watch it tho… But Ben we still haven’t forgot DAREDEVIL, and GIGLI!
