Sicko PosterI’m not sure if you caught this yesterday, but it has become one of the hot topics of conversation today. Michael Moore appeared on CNN to promote Sicko, and was sideswiped with a piece which attempted to disprove some of the facts in the film. Moore was live on the show and hucked everything and the kitchen sink at host Wolf Blitzer. Moore called the report “biased” and “crap.” Moore promised to dissect all of CNN’s false claims in a report on his website which can be read at this link. The controversial documentary filmmaker then attacked Blitzer and CNN for spinning the BIG lie:

“Tell the truth to the American people…just once…you guys have such a poor track record, and for me to come on here and listen to that kind of crap….you fudged the facts about this issue and the war in Iraq…why did it take you so long, Wolf, to take on Vice President Cheney? I’m just wondering when you’re going to apologize to the American people and the troops….I just wonder when the American people are going to turn off their TV sets and stop listening to this stuff.”

This is a must watch video clip. Check it out after the jump.

And below we also have part 2. That’s right, Part 2. Moore agreed to tape a second interview which aired on Tuesday unedited. That interview is less entertaining, less confrontational, but more to the point and more informative.

And if you haven’t yet, go watch Sicko.

Michael Moore is nothing but a fat whining punkass bitch and you seem to have everything but his ballsack in your mouth. Get real, nobody cares about this fat F.

I have to admit, I’m often not a fan of Michael Moore. He rubs me the wrong way as a general rule. In this particular case, however, I also have to admit: I was cheering him on. While I sometimes disagree with how Moore presents himself, that doesn’t mean his ideas are automatically bad and I think he handled himself well on CNN.

Nice ‘BReal’, I find your name completely ironic.
Maybe you can fill me in on how much my life is worth in dollars, or for that matter how much ever human beings life are worth as you seem to have it all figured out.

Get real USA you are the only leading Western country that thinks Healthcare should be for profit.
    M. Moore is only speaking out and that is what is great about this man, like him or loath him he has the Bollocks to say what is wrong in the land of the Free Ha! Ha! Ha! Only free if you have money.
Not all the world thinks the USA is the big defender of the free, most in Eurpoe just wish you would all stay in your own little country and leave the rest of us to get on with it.

    Go Micheal, Shaft em man.

It’s too bad Michael Moore isn’t a good enough speaker to get his point across without resorting to histrionics. It’s pretty clear that Wolf Blitzer is respectful of Moore, and Moore just shits on him. Moore is correct, but completely unable to communicate it effectively.

He also seems to be unaware of the irony inherent in criticising CNN for bowing to the HMOs and health care concerns, seeing as he, the most vocal of health care critics, is being given a forum on their network.

And he seemed like such a bright man…
