You know I was hoping that another transformer wouldnâ€™t come out but that was wishful thinking. First, have the people who make these movies ever seen an episode of the series before? No, I doubt it, transformers was a rip off, and they spent so much money on the way the look and transform that the story blew chunks! Really, how in the hell can a super robot that has been fighting wars for millions of years come to earth, and need the help of a punk kid who canâ€™t even talk to girls, to find the all spark, whatever that was suppose to be, to save the world. Really, is that the best you can do? And why did you change the story from what we grew up watching in the first place. It would have been better if you made a movie about that special ops team that was in the movie and sent them to Afghanistan to find Osama! You Hollywood people are way off the mark when it comes to entertainment, yeah transformers made a lot of money but it was because of the name TRANSFORMERS! You should have called that trash â€œsuper gay robots from outer spaceâ€ and it would have bombed out royally! So just go ahead until you sequel the transformers into nothing and hopefully in the future someone will disregard this trash and make a real transformer movie like itâ€™s suppose to be made. As far as Iâ€™m concerned the last transformer movie was the cartoon version.

Why would Michael Bay be so dumb as to put something like that on the web? Obviously he was heated, but come on - in Hollywood, where everything gets out and everything it litigious, you have to be smarter than that.

Oh well, more promotion for his movie… Hmm, maybe he wasn’t so stupid after all.

Michael Bay is an asshole, my brother-in-law worked on Transformers and he said Michael was a monster. Berating crew and anyone who he thought he could bully. That is why a lot of people will not work with him again. Why Spielberg would ruin his great rep by associating with Bay is beyond me. Anyone who had any doubt about Bay being a jerkoff it is now confirmed. Who would bash the producers who were there first with the idea and got the movie set up? Bay should be thanking them for getting Transformers on the radar otherwise the script for Bad Boys 3 or The Island 2 is in the mail Michael. Does anyone who worked with him have any of the infamous Michael Bay stories to share? If so post them. I am going to get by brother-in-law to blow the lid off this guy.

The writing of the script wasn’t all that great, but I can see someone getting upset after putting in all that hard work and having Tom Desanto waltzing in, trying to take credit. I’m a writer too, so when someone … I don’t know, names a character for me and then they want credit, well it is very irritating.

I guess Murphy and Desanto decided who were going to be robots and who weren’t going to be robots or something like that. Heh.

Great movie, Michael Bay. Damn fine continuation of my childhood.

Sweet. Talk about righteous indignation. After reading that, my respect for Michael Bay (never high to begin with) has increased in leaps and bounds. Thanks for passing that on, Mr. Sciretta.

After reading Bay’s angry blog post, though, I have to ask: what are the chances of him coming back for a sequel?
