TMNT made over $92 million worldwide and untold amounts on dvd, yet cost only $34 million to make. So why wouldn’t the studio want to make a sequel? Mirage Studios’ Steve Murphy says the idea is becoming a little more likely:
As of two weeks ago Imagi Entertainment (the TMNT movie animation studio) informed Mirage Studios that there was a 50-50 chance of a CGI film sequel. Last week they upped the odds to 70-30 in favor of a sequel, as talks between Imagi and their distribution partners Warner Brothers and the Weinstein Group seem to be heading in a positive direction…
Let’s just hope that they up the maturity level of the sequel a bit. I liked the pop culture flashback trip, but wasn’t a fan of all the stupid stone monsters and things from other dimensions. Can’t we return to the Shredder?

Please we really love TMNT!!! Please make another sequel for those 4 cool turtles and set the ugly croc or shredder for the sequel also please release it at 2008!!!!!!!

TMNT was an amazing movie! i still watch it a billion times a month and can’t get enough of those turtles! PLEASE MAKE A TMNT2! that would be amazing!

no it WOULDNT be cool to see a vanilla ice cartoonized cameo it would just be plain wrong ike in the original that part in the film used to always ruin it for me because the 1st one was so dark and really good but the 2nd one was just god awful, i liked it as a kid then i grew and saw it for what it really was lol, crap.
but i don still hope the y make another tmnt 2 because the 1st one wasnt bad, it was a little different from what i was expecting considering the 1st 3 films where live action not a cartoon

tmnt 2, would be decient, the original movies were the best. im watching secret of the ooze right now… im just waiting on a movie based more on the original darker comics (i think it was the second generation of the comics)
