I was so excited about this movie coming out. I couldn't wait to see it...but now I read that Ryan Gosling (whom I absolutely LOVE) is playing Susie Salmon's father! I am sorry but that makes no sense. I mean I don't doubt that with his acting skills Ryan can pull it off, but I think he would've been better suited playing the detective. Regardless I am still going to see the movie. This is NO attack against Gosling's acting skills...I am a HUGE fan of his, I just don't think he looks the part of a 14 year-olds father.
