It’s probably unlikely, but that won’t stop us from reporting the rumor which is beginning to sweep the internets. A hacker named Gabriel claims to have hacked into the computers of Bloomsbury, the publishing house that distributes the Harry Potter books. The hacker claims to have used a browser exploit to gain access to the final Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Gabriel has posted a major, and I do mean MAJOR spoiler which happens near the end of the story. The scenario sounds unlikely, again, but it’s possible. The posting was made in an attempt to “make reading of the upcoming book useless and boring” to further help prevent “youngs of our earth” being converted by the books “to Neo Paganism faith.” We refuse to publish the spoiler on /Film, but we won’t stand in the way of information. i wasn’t going to read the “leak” but my curiosity got the better of me and anyway, it’s laughable. i expected leaks and all sorts of claims about the plot of such an eagerly awaited book to be all over the web but i also expected them to be more believable. The death spoilers were possible, even made me believe them…because for once JKR told us that two main characters would die, and those he said would in fact, be two main characters. Also these type of spoilers are not that unlikely, remember when Dumbledore’s death got spoiled? It didn’t turn out to be a hoax, and when his death occurred, yes it was still sad, yet it wasn’t that surprising.
However, I think it was the “Draco made a horcrux” which made me realize this is just a stupid attention seeking jerk who is making up bull! Draco wouldn’t make a horcrux, it takes a lot of skill and evil, evil magic, think about what Dumbledore and Slughorn said on the matter…it’s the works of pure evil. Draco is not pure evil. We know who he really is: A terrified boy. He wasn’t capable of killing Dumbledore, you can be sure he is not capable of splitting his soul and making a horcrux.
I would have thought after Dumbledore’s Death leak, that they would have upped the security ten fold.

This spoiler is a joke. It’s just a feeble attempt by some lunitic who is trying to get everyone who reads the Harry Potter series to not buy the next book. Anyone who read the books would realize that this is not really what is going to happen. First of all, Gabriel says that Hermione dies to save Ron. That sounds quite a bit like what Harry’s mom did to save him. Then, he says that Voldemort dueled with Ron and Hermione, but he didn’t duel with Harry. It just says Harry showed up and killed all of the “bad guys”
Last, I don’t know how this could be possible, but Gabriel claims that Malfoy started to make Horcruxes for fun and profit. The e-mail looked like a retarded seven year old wrote it with the help of his priest who likes the pope a little to much. I doubt gabriel realizes that the pope was involved in the genocide of over 11 million innocent people accross europe. But seeing as most of you people who commented are racist freaks who hate people for being Australians, or whatever your ranting about, I bet your all praying that Gabriel will succeed in his insane attempt to get people to refuse to buy the book.

hello everyone, just shut up a second and listen here: It says in the hacker’s post thingy, that Ron and Hermione are fighting Voldemort ALONE. Without Harry. Then Harry arrives and kills “all the bad guys”, to quote dear ol’ Gabby. Now, to those who think this ridiculous hoax is true, USE YOUR BRAINS! If you know the books, then you probably realize that the whole story is seen through Harry’s viewpoint! We only know of what Harry’s doing, that’s all, except in three parts of the book: the first chapter of “philosopher’s stone”, cause he’s a baby, the first chapter of Goblet of Fire, cause it’s an explanation of Voldemort’s past (and it’s still seen by Harry in a dream),and the two opening chapters of Half-Blood Prince, cause it’s the Prime Minister’s viewpoint, then Bellatrix Lestrange’s. All these parts were used to introduce the books, and the story. But a non-Harry centred chapter towards the end of the book, that’s just plain impossible. My guess is, it’s a guy who read the books who came up with that shit, but not someone who knows them well enough to actually get facts right. He made good guesses though, but not good enough. Just a hoax.

Well the religious stuff is legalistic…….the problem is hp is about witches and wizards and the bible condemns it……but heres the point…..the bible condemns its practice. It does not, however condemn reading a fantasy novel that is not eeven close to what the real occult is about so its really for every person to deside on his own based on his own conviction. The only thing I do agree with is if you have kids (and are a christian family) and your kids are reading HP read it with them and talk to them about it and about the contoversial topic of magic……make sure they can draw the line between reality and fantasy……then there is no harm if your kids are just enjoying a good story! I would also like to add that I am Catholic, Pope Benedict was only in the Hitler Youth because it was that or death…like any other German child who’s family didn’t flee Germany. Also, I’m also positive he didn’t release a statement about Harry Potter, Pope John Paul II even said reading The Da Vinci Code was alright as long as you read it as fiction…I don’t understand why people think Catholics don’t let you do anything and persecute fictional books that really don’t have much to do with the Church, but that’s not what we or any Church Official do. Harry Potter is completely okay, it in no way endorses evil, in fact all of the books praise bravery and the good in people..the entire series is about eliminating evil.
Please become educated and tolerant of all religions, if you believe in God and try to be someone He would be proud of…we will all be okay.

i found the harry potter “e-book leakage” its 659 pages i think??? i was on the 4th page when i stopped reading and deletd it. im not gunna spoil my long wait for book seven and waste my time reading a pirated or FAKE version of it.

I found out about this from a friend who believed it. I got really pissed off that he told me and now after reading it I can tell that it is certainly a hoax written by some religious nut who thinks that Harry Potter is evil for diverting children from the bible or something like that, it sounds like shit to me, JK would never write something as shit as that

Ok, I have followed Harry potter for some time. I’m in my twenties! I thought that this book wouldn’t be as “gotta have” as the rest, until I read that e-mail. Now I HAVE to support Harry Potter books on principal alone. Thank you crazy Wholly Roller person for that realization I may have missed out on it. Now I will be sure to have my daughter dancing naked under the full moon worshiping pagan gods. (FYI) most of Christanity rituals really do come from pagan rituals. Some people are so narrow minded. Either way thank you for the laugh.

@ Carrie … First off I would hope that any jerk that has the balls to come up to you and tell you your beleifs were wrong and narrowminded would be told to shove off. Also for your info if you read about the religion of Chritianity most of its practices are not from pegan rutes….the religion is the oldest known because it is a continuation of the Jewish religion. Now Christianity as practiced by the first church that follows the bible does not have pegan rituals but (and Im not bashing just informing) The Catolic sect that branched from the origional church a long time ago does have some practices that are not in the bible that are from pegan rutes like statue worship, and occult practices of the demonic nature. The church has some very legalistic people in it….if they want to say HP is bad…..fine let them miss out on the great story. But I tell you that just because the bible say practiceing magic is bad doesent mean that reading a fiction story about HP is bad…..it has nothing to do wit the REAL occult so it is not what jesus was talking about…..and if your not christian then it doesent matter what the bible says anyways……so stop freaking out! 90% of all of the christians I know love HP especially the younger. The only things that parents of young kids did that I know is make sure there kids knew the diff between fantasy and reality because some times kids that are young dont. In close, HP Is a great piece of literature that captivates the mind. It teaches good morals and standards like love and friendship. It helps kids to enjoy reading and expanding on their vocabulary. I would much rather my kids read HP then watch what is on tv these days because they learn when they read it. Just like Lewis and Tolkin. So this brings be to the end……@Legalistic christians who dont like HP……I am sorry that you do not agree and that you see there is a difference between gandolf and Potter. That is your convition and you should follow it. But that is not the conviction of other christians and of other HP fans. Please dont force you opinion on us! We are a diverse world and each person has the right to choose his faith and ideals as he pleases! Please follow your religion and show love and grace even if you dont agree with some ones acts…….

Obviously she or he wouldnt have hacked into the bloomsbury computers! theres probably hundreds if not thousands of firewalls and passwords. They would make it very difficult even for major hackers to hack into sucha big network of computers. To make it short about why HP is related to Christianity at all, it’s probably more about the ability to control life and death, etc which is considered a power that belongs only to God (or deity in your religion). Also, the blurred line between good and evil. Possessing people, like Satan. Unfounded connections to the occult (and as no one actually managed to talk to a truly dead person yet… wth?) Etc.
Anyway, to the lowlife attention-seeker- learn to spell the name of the Pope before you make him into a scapegoat for your stupidity. If it’s the “same old story”, you’re admitting you read a previous book, which you consider Satanic. Hypocrite.
Draco doesn’t make horcruxes- he’s obviously too stupid and he doesn’t have the nerve to kill people, as proved on the tower book six. Hagrid, if you ever read any of these books, a) would not bother ambushing anyone and b) unless you care to clarify that he was under imperius too or something, attack the trio.

Guys, i think most of this is way out of line. For you Christians out there claiming how bad HP is, doesnt the bible say do not judge others? How can you honestly judge something you have proven to know nothing about? HP is about the war between Good and Evil. JK writes it in a way that helps others understand things, like its ok to stand up for whats right, and what you belive in, no matter what anyone else says about you. Just like Jesus did. No matter what anyone said about him, there were so many lies and junk told about him, and so many cruel things done, he never gave up. Im not saying that this was written in parallel so dont start. Im just trying to get my point accross saying that HP has taught so many good morals and lessions that the world is lacking today in most movies, and anywhere else. I dont care what anyone says. The truth is this is going to far. I belive personally that there have been many blessings givin to JKR for giving hope to young kids everywhere. Esp kids who grew up with people like Uncle Veronon and Dudley they way I did. Everyone can relate in some way or another, and i think its wonderful so many people in the world can connect like this. I also have to say to this hacker, Thank you for such a wonderful laugh. You clearley dont know what your talking about. Jesus would never deliberately hurt or dissipoint some innocent people about something he knew nothing about. Clearly you have no clue what the story is about, who the charaters are and what they mean. But there is Hope for you yet. I am very excited for book seven. My only dissapointment is that my brothers and i wont be able to guess anymore about what we think will happen. I read the website and the hoax ending and you did it, yep your cool now, I went out and purchased all 6 books (ok i borrowed one from my mom) and finished the series just an hour ago. And you know what I am going to buy the next book too. Frankly its a good read. Oh and all this harry potter for the devil stuff… well i doubt Potter could inspire as many deaths as organized religion has. And if 7 books that are really good and entertaining could thats just damn good writing.

Two days ago, I was at a Universal Fighting System CCG tournament, and the discussion shifted to this very subject. I didn’t believe it then, and now that I saw the supposed “leak”, I know for a damn fact that it’s fake. I thought I’d Google it and find the leak, and I saw this page, and I read a bit…and thought to myself…
“Ok, this has gone far enough.”
I’m not even gonna bother touching the whole Christianity argument because I agree on the whole “freedom of religion” thingy that that wonderful piece of paper known as the United States Constitution says we A-mery-kahnos have. (And if you don’t live in teh US o’ A, insert whatever document gives you freedom of religion. And if you don’t have one…well…good luck with that.)
I will, however, be making fun of the complete mental abomination calling itself Gabriel. So, sit back and enjoy.
Even though it’s painfully obvious that this spoiler is false, there are some peoples out there that actually believe this load of garbage. So, here are some clues for those unfortunate many who bought into this mierda, as my Mexicano bros would say. (And if you don’t know what “mierda” means, look it up.)
1) Gabriel is a complete and total idiot. I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, buddy, but you are. I mean, I don’t think it’s even possible (though I’ve heard anti-gaming lawyer and professional crybaby Jack Thompson’s getting close) to get to your level of pure, unadulterated, 100% concentrated suck that your have emanated with your so-called “spoiler”. I guess it’s an accomplishment, but a sad one at that. Congrats, buddy.
2) The obvious one - Malfoy supposedly making Horcruxes “for fun and profit”. The wording alone on this “spoiler” is enough to prove that it’s stupid. But…there might be some truth to it. I mean, Rowling herself has said that there would be plenty to speculate, even after this book’s done. And, people are right…she said that SHE wouldn’t be writing more books on the series. She never said anything about having another fantasy author do something. R. A. Salvatore, anyone? ;-P But, it probably won’t happen.
3) Something else obvious - the supposed death. I don’t know if anyone else has been reading into Rowling’s words, but if anyone can remember…
Taken from the Wikipedia article on Book 7:
“[When] asked which five of her characters she would like to invite to dinner, she chose Harry, Hermione and Ron, but then hesitated before choosing her last characters, saying “See… I know who’s actually dead,” unsure whether she was permitted to invite those who are ‘dead’.”
If she listed Hermione among the characters she’d invite, that’s a confirmation that she’s gonna live past Book 7. So, of course, it wouldn’t work. Secondly, the dubious circumstances of her “death” . According to Gabe, she dies “to protect Ron” like Lily did for Harry. If memory serves, this isn’t possible, because Harry’s protection charm wears off upon his 17th birthday, and if the timeline of the book occurs in the usual manner (and even if it doesn’t), Ron will be well beyond that mark, so it wouldn’t work. Hermione’s too smart to not know that. Unless she’s flustered…but it’s unlikely.
3) The reason. Of course, this is just a publicity stunt for some guy who has WAY too much time on his hands while he’s not listening to Christian rock and watching Christian Cage wrestle when TNA iMPACT!’s on. (I know that not all Christians listen to Christian rock or want to watch TNA or “The Instant Classic” himself (hell, even us non-christians don’t want to!), but it was a pun, and I can’t resist a pun (even bad ones like that). :-P)
4) Security details. Number one, after the whole supposed “Dumbledore Death Leaked” thing, I’d be very surprised if Bloomsbury or Scholastic or whatever even have a singular sentence from Book 7 in their databases. Secondly, even if they did, need I remind all of you that Gabriel is a complete and total idiot? He probably couldn’t hack his way into Paris Hilton’s bedroom (with her in it, mind you).
So, remember kids, don’t do drugs. You’ll end up like Gabriel, a complete and total idiot.
On a side note: I guess I should feel semi-guilty about something like this, too…
See, a few weeks ago, I was walking home from high school with my friend, who is also a Potter nut, and I though I’d mess with him. He thinks I’m good with computers, so I told him that I had hacked into J.K. Rowling’s personal computer and had gotten the ending of Book 7 - Harry is killed by Voldemort’s new apprentice, Ginny Weasley. (Yes, a far-out-there ending, but I was joking, of course. :-P) I swear, the dude wigged out. He was wigging out, and I finally told him that it was a joke. We have a good laugh afterwards. See, unlike him, I didn’t put my “leak” on the interweb and “ruin” the story. I just did it to my friend for fun. There’s a difference.
But if that ending were to happen…there’d be more room for Ginny/Hermione fanfiction, and we all love that. :-P

There is but one great flaw in your intricate tale of ‘who kills who’ in the end. You are no Dame Agatha; that’s for sure.
Here are the reasonings I have to believe your ‘e-mail’ false, in order of obvious lies:
1) The greatest mistake, as already posted by almost everyone before me, is the statement about Draco making a Horcrux. But to me, your statements had other obvious faults. This was just the most obvious to everyone.
2) You thought Hermione, Voldemort, and Hagrid’s deaths were worth mentioning, yet you leave out Severus Snape?
Surely if he had the nerve to kill Hagrid as well, Harry would kill him and that itself should be very noteworthy. If you had read the book, you would be fast to put ‘The Great Snape Debate’ to rest. There-in lies the second greatest flaw of your ‘e-mail’
3) J.K.’s own actions speak out against the death of Hermione, as already posted by Cena. J.K. has even gone as far as to say she saw HERSELF in Hermione. I really doubt she’d go sacrificing herself for Ron. Besides, why would they go to Private Drive? And couldn’t they apparate away? I don’t see how Voldemort can surprise them so badly they wouldn’t be able to escape. There was your third mistake.
and 4) The security of this document would be of the highest regards to the publishing companies which possess it. There is no way you could easily ‘hack’ the book without being caught or sued.
Oh, and for the record, make sure you use proper grammar next time you try to convince a large amount of people a sack of lies. It made the whole thing even less convincing. If you can hack a computer, you at least would make sure you type correctly.

Someone made an excellent point already.
These books are told in the point of view that let’s us know what Harry is
doing at all times. Although we may not know where other characters are,
we always know what Harry is feeling and where he is. In the spoiler it
says Harry was somewhere else while Ron and Hermionie were fighting
Voldemort, but if Harry really was somewhere else, the book would be
following Harry, not Ron and Hermionie.
There is no real need to insult people’s religions because of this one man
who wants a lot of attention. By insulting each other based on what he
claimed, you’re giving him that attention.

Obviously its fake. There are always “spoilers” like this
months and weeks before the books come out. And they all
end up being wrong. Don’t worry about it. JK Rowling said herself
that HP 7 comes to a clear end. Draco making horcruxes is NOT
a clear end and it leaves the book open for more non author
sequels which she said she doesn’t want to happen. If she isn’t
going to make any more books then why would she leave the ending
open? Someone else could just finish where she left off.
It doesn’t make sence. And Harry does not have the power to
kill all the bad guys. It doesn’t make sence at all. I don’t see why
people waste their time making such bullshit stories like this.
I also don’t get why all the news sites are actually giving this
attention. Whats that going to do. They are just adding fuel
to the fire. Seriously. And no Harry Potter is NOT a satinists
book at all. There are way worse childrens books out there anyway.
Well the spoiler is obviously fake. I don’t see why people pay
any attetntion to this..

the story is not true because J.K. said she was ending the harry potter books so dud try a little harder. the end is going to be alot drifent and snape has to be good.

Gabriel has no clue what he is saying, for one when he says that ron and hermione have a duel with Voldemort, and that is so non beleivable since, the books on ly follow harry’s point of view except for the intros of book 1 3 and 4.Also my guess is that snape is actually a good guy and that dumbledore told him to kill him, for a huge cover up. So when Voldemort thinks he is all that, snape will be in there than kill him with the friendship of Harry…. just my guess write Back…

I don’t see why these stupid news sites keep posting what the hacker said, does it matter really? I mean if you’re going to repost what he said wouldn’t that reveal the ending? Since he did, in fact, reveal that very said ending? It’s pointless, I didn’t even read the article, that’s ridiculous, why would you do that? You’re doing what he wants, and that’s to make a big deal about it, now he’s famous and everyone’s fun is spoiled. Are you happy media? I think you should’ve just let the immature little punk have his so called “fun” by posting it and just ignore it.

Gabriel please just get a life. Harry potter is not satanic nor making our children in any way evil etc. It’s just a fun fantasy, for children to expand their imagination! yeah thats right kids have an imagination. Are people stupid or what? come on it’s just a little fun. I see kids all the time dress up in Halloween clothing, and I don’t see them bow down to ‘Satan’ or anything. So your going to warn people of a silly book when pyshco’s are raping, murdering and hurting the children of today? I don’t get people like you. If you want to help the “youngs of our earth”, then why not actually stop the things that really matter.
And also why do people have to try and ruin things? Would you appricaiate it if you wrote a book and someone revealed your secrets? I guess that would be a no.
I’m not sure what to believe with this ‘leak’, I mean it porbably wouldn’t ruin me reading it since, there is still what 1000’s of words still to read. I will sti
