Without the classical literature mainstay named Dracula by Bram Stoker (who also wrote a little thing called The Mummy, which is also a good read in its own right), then Castlevania would not exist, period. Since the people who made the original movie named The Mummy are long since dead and the ones who have the franchise rights are doing a fourth movie in the series at this time, we did not have the option to ask them to make this movie. Still, it sucks that they could not be brought on board to do this movie justice. Hell, even the guy who made that one Dracula movie in 1991 or so, as in Bram Stoker's Dracula, would be far more preferrable to direct this movie than this jobber doing the job, whoever the hell that he is in life. Also a notable person to possibly direct this movie would be George Romero. Why no one even considered him to be a possibility of making and directing this movie is beyond me in life. And in my own, it shouldnt be a child movie. Most of the fans are (including my self) 30 o more years old. Just wanna see a long quest, a hard path full of danger and monstuosities standing at every corner traying to stop Belmont; Mytical monsters, Demons and all predictable things just like in a videogame of the saga (the fight against THE DEATH, can´t be avoided). Remember in all video games of Castlevania, Kill Dracula is not the problem, reach it, that´s the real complex thing about. Thanks !!! No one wants to see some story of a guy entering the pin number to get through the gates of Dracula's "castle" just so he can inject Dracula with the secret formula with techno music playing. Don't put the Castlevania name on some crap like that. Let's see something bad f!#$'n ass.. We want skeletons, we want graveyards, we want dragons, we want ghosts, we want demons, we want bats, we want vicious evil hot bitches getting slain with no mercy and we want some bad ass guy with long hair going up against a world of evil alone to slay Dracula.. Everythin is a step forward. If I'm not mistaken James Cameron's first film wasn't TERMINATOR or ALIENS but the Z flick Phiranna! Did you even see STOMP THE YARD, most of you fan sits bash the filmn and havent even seen the film. Go rent it and yes the story is CLICHE but he didnt write the story he was hired to firect and make it look as tight as possible. Go watch that movie and try and tell me you don't see TALENT behind that camera suring all of the dance sequences. Stop jumping on the bashing bandwagon just becuase everyone is and make your own educated opnion. It's obvious you havent done deeper reaeach with all of the photos online you'd see Sylvain is a GUY! The funny thing where you guys are so lame is once these films come out and they do kick ass your tunes will so quickly change no matter how much you'll hate to admit it! Its funny how you guys bash new directors who are trying to work their way to the top. Not every director right out of the box gets to direct some epic amazing film when dealing with studios.
