We just received word that Michael Moore will appear on Oprah on Tuesday June 5th where he will present, for the first time on television, scenes from his new film, Sicko.” Oprah will interview Michael about the movie and the attention it’s receiving before its release. And get this — the theme of Oprah’s show is “The one film you must see this summer” Apparently, Oprah loved Michael’s film and wants to make health care for all one of her main missions this year.
With Oprah behind Moore, there is no stopping him. I mean, isn’t Oprah’s audience essentially a bunch of lemmings? She says buy a book, they buy a book. She says see a movie, they… well, you know. And I’m not saying this is a bad thing, especially in this case. Sicko hits theaters on June 29th.

Why would she want to make healthcare for all a goal? Sounds like a ridiculous goal to me. Also it’d really suck to be a doctor once such a program comes into place.

Get informed first, MG, everywehre else in the world the doctors don’t suck and they are still loaded with money.
There are also Private and Public hospitals (and you can choose, just like a Democracy should bring you to do), just like everything else in life: schools, etc…

I receive free health care (living in CANADA) and it’s great health care. So why don’t you guys listen to the facts before blabbing out the first thoughts that come to your lil brains.

Ditto, free health care here too.
Leaves me extra money to buy games, electronics, vacations, you know,
put money back into the economy instead of just the pockets of
HMO’s, which I’m glad I will never have to deal with.
so, free health care = some extra taxes, but less then health insurance =
money saved to buy other stuff = supporting many businesses instead of
just HMOs. got it?

I’m thrilled that she had Michael Moore on. The last time she had Michael Moore was during the antiwar series she held several months before the start of the war in Iraq. On pg 87 of DUDE WHERE’S MY COUNTRY Moore praises the hell out of Oprah for being the only mainstream media to have joined the antiwar movement before the war took place and elsewhere in the book endorses him for president.

Michael Moore shines the lens and light on needed improvements to health care. The public needs health insurance for coverage and health assurance in the form of correct diagnosis and treatment. The problems are well known by patient’s and their families. SiCKO is a film about the US care and in reality a wake up call for us in Canada. Canada’s health care is public and private payment, wait lists includes patient pay surgery and Canadians travelling to the USA for care. And, we have hospitals sending mentally ill out with a bus pass not unlike the film’s coverage of the LA hospital sending the patient out on the street in a cab. Whether US or Canada, Squandering Billions is a common crisis of care and coverage. http://www.bannerline.net/sb/index.html

This movie is so biased it’s extremely hard to believe everything on it. Michael Moore is a homosexual Liberal who despises Bush and will go to any extreme to turn people against him. Obviously there is some truth in this video. Its obvious that our country’s health care is far from perfect but its definitely not near as bad as Moore makes it out to be.

Michael moore is a worthless piece of lying crap why the hell should i be forced to spend my money on some lazy piece of crap without a job on heroin i bet all of you have also forgotten when he actually got sued by an iraq war vet with both arms blown off when during a long interview moore cut tiny tidbits to make him seem anti war but no why the hell would cnn spend alot of time on that.
