Hell Yes they need to do a fourth one - and with Matt Damon in tow - if for no other reason, then to delve deeper into the pre-amnesia relationship between Bourne and Nicky Parsons. Bourne Ultimatum left me hanging like a fish hook! I want to know what their deal was!!

I would say either Edward Norton, Mark Wahlenburg, or Jason Statham. Only one of those out of 3 will be the best actors for all of the Bourne movies.

there is no replacement for damon.it willl be best if you guys just reads the books.i must say the movies are very good with damon as bourne, but the books are excellent.good job mr ludlum.

As much as I love Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, if he’s not going to continue then I think Mark Wahlberg would make a good replacement. He kind of remings me of Matt Damon anyway in the film Shooter…

Jason Bourne is an alien from the X Files. Look back at the second movie and you’ll see that agent Mulder is lurking out of focus in the background in Russia. Dir. Paul Greengrass is an imposter and the real direction is passed on to him from Tom Cruise and his giant hamster Kevin. I must go now as they’re knocking in my door again. Fridge contaminents.

i dont think that they would make as much money as his and it would just not be the same….

No one can replace Bourne, just like when sean connery left 007 it was different and not the same. BUT if they must go on…get someone good! Walberg…ewew gag..and Jason alexander (he is too fat to even run let alone do all the things believeably that Bourne does). How about Val Kilmer? (he was excellent in the saint) or ooooh colin ferrel…now we are talking….yeah I would watch it if it were colin…

Matt Damon is Jason Bourne. In the next movie, which will be called, “The Bourne Legacy,” David Webb will become a tool for helping people, movements, nations, countries - not just somebody trying to defend himself from a corrupt system. It will be an action film as well and Matt will be able to really showcase his talents and acting skills.

Hey Guys, Matt Damon IS the JASON BOURNE we all like and NO ONE can replace him. I have read all the 3 novels and have all the DVDs and I think the Jason Bourne character was written for “Matt Damon”. I think we all agree on that.

Now if we want to see MD in the 4th JB movie, we should try to convince him to end the series by himself.

this web link is about Jason Borne, and if you’ve read my previous post (Feb 7, 2008), there is no other Jason Borne than Matt Damon. Now, without intentionally inviting debate, Nicolas C., Brad P., Mark W. Leonardo Di and others are good in their own right, each having turned in very good to brilliant performances in their own movies … but this is Jason Borne, and once again can only be played by Matt Damon. If there is a forth, and I believe there will … in order to capitalize on the older Matt Damon, the story should be told from a narrative perspective from the earlier years, (i.e. the beginning pre-films 1-3), up to the current day, which of course would be not a mission to just preserve him self and privacy, but also to expose those who are trying to wrongly frame him for some past deed….

jason bourne movies are the one of the best movies hollywood ever made.they should and they have to make another one.all last three did really really well in boxoffice.Most importently MATT DAMON gotta be in it.i dont care if(GE) ….(boss of the movie company) have to pay lot more money….Matt damon’s deserve lot more money then Brat pitt..with his level acting..if anybody agree with me say something…

matt damon has the franchise locked in… nick cage or dicaprio not convincing enough for me, they’re mediocre at best, and please, no mark wahlberg… (i still see marky mark there)… no subs please…remember triple x(ice cube replacing vin diesel, come on hollywood)? fourth AND FINAL installment would be great, maybe a little more backstory on bourne and nicky. filmakers could maybe surprise us with a jon voight or some other veteran as an arch nemisis with a heart still trying to clean up the mess, and maybe forcing bourne into a lifestyle in hiding, away from the life of an assassin. but keep some of the action, it makes it interesting for us guys.
