Warner Bros has launched a one page mini site with the first photo of Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight. I’m sure the they will launch a full site at the url closer to the film’s release. The photo, seen above, is a sign from the aspiring District Attorney’s political campaign. The photoshop job looks pretty poor. Let’s hope that they just slapped this together, and this isn’t any real indication of how the on screen props will look.
The Dark Knight will follow Batman as he enlists the aid of Gordon and Dent in “bringing down the Joker… but not killing him. In the third movie, the Joker would go on trial, scarring Dent in the process,” screenwriter David Goyer previously revealed. Dent then becomes the villainous Two-Face. Tommy Lee Jones played the character in 1995’s horrendous Batman Forever.

Hmmm? Not the perfect Harvey Dent. I would rather prefer Hugh Jackman or even Wes Bentley, but Eckhart is okay.

I’m in Chicago for a family reunion and we went to my sister’s condo overlooking the Chicago river. We saw some lights on top of a buidling across the river so we got out our binoculars. We saw what appears to be the rooftop of Police HQ where Commissioner Gordon and Batman were discussing something. We watched the set up and the scene for a few hours. Then, after hours (about 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.) Batman stood on top of the ledge of this building for a closeup and then a stunt double donned the cap and cowl to “jump” off the ledge. Also on top of the building was a searchlight that was likely the Bat Signal. It was very cool to watch.

I know this is an old story, but I didn’t know if you guys had seen http://www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com
Originally, that site had the same graphic that morphed into a gruesome-looking possible Two Face. Now it just has “hahahaha” written in black-on-black (highlight to reveal) all over the screen.
