Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is inevitable. The question is how soon, and who will be involved. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer told The Herald Sun that a fourth Pirates film might be a spin-off.
“This is the end [of the current trilogy], but whether one of the characters or a couple of the characters continue on, it’s a possibility. Certainly, in a moment at the end of the film there is a hope that something else might happen.”
But does anyone want to watch a Pirates of the Caribbean film without Johnny? And would anyone really be interested in watching a movie which follows Will Turner or Elizabeth Swann? Fear not, I’ve heard recently that Johnny Depp is interested in doing a sequel. So this might just be a false alarm.

I don’t think I want a fourth movie I mean don’t get me wroung, I LOVE the Pirates movies, they are basically my life, but the ending to the third movie just wasn’t right… I WISH they didn’t leave a slot open for a fourth, because it might not live up to the first movie. I hope that if they do make a Pirates 4, they try to go back to the first Pirate movie sort of, cause that one is a classic.

what’s wrong with you guys. The third one totally
ended perfectly. I guess it’s a little open because
of Johnny going off to the fountain of youth and all,
but it still ended. I din’t think any of you guys stayed
around after the credits. It says that it’s ten years later
and Keira has a kid. We then see Orland come out
from the horizon.It doesn’t really leave it all that open.
It just says that there could possibly be another one an

I definitely think there should be a fourth movie! I love the pirates movies and I love ALL the characters! I’ve seen the third movie twice already and plan to see it again! I didn’t stay after the credits so I don’t know anything about if theres anything after them but I know that I would be really upset if they didn’t do a fourth one because I just don’t think they should leave things like that! They should find a way to relieve Will of his duties as Captain of the Flying Dutchman so that he and Elizabeth can be together, they have been in love since the beginning and they finally get married, so it just seems wrong to end it with them being apart like that. I want a fourth movie with Kiera, Orlando and Johnny!

keira won’t feature in the 4th movie…if there be one. She was quoted as saying that she’s been playing that girl since she was 17…and now she wants to move on to other things.
Yes, after the credits, there is the 10 year later thing…but it’s sad all the same. There may possibly be a 4th movie, but the idea that Elizabeth and Will Turner being in it is a bit of a negative at the moment.

i think there should be a fourth film because the ending didnt make much sense to me i didnt stay after the credits but most people probably didnt cause when the credits come of it usually means the movie is over. But if capitain jack isnt in the 4th movie than i wouldnt see it because he is the main character and the movie wouldnt make sense. Hopefully the actors and actresses will stay for 1 more movie

I was disappointed with the 3rd movie, to be the last I’d think it would’ve had a more interesting plot. At first, I thought, Elizabeth had fell for Jack when rescuing him. Now, her and Will finally get together, just to see each other once every 10 years, that sucks. We need a closer to that, even if Will dies Elizabeth can get involved with Jack, 10 years is a long time.

i think they should make a fourth pirates movie cause the 3rd one didnt have a very satisfying ending. i didnt stay after the credits, so i didnt get to see the “real end”. i want to know what happens to will and elizabeth, and there was a little cliffhanger with jack going to find the fountain of youth, but i dont see how they could put that into the next movie w/o the black pearl’s crew. i might want to see the fourth movie w/o cpt jack, but it wouldnt be as funny or entertaining with all his jokes

we definitely want to be a fourth movie. we believe that if the script-writer wanted
to finish the whole stoly at the third movie he should have given a happy ending.

I saw the scene after the credits too! But I think it was a son not daughter… Anyways, there just HAS TO BE a 4th Movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t live with the ending like that! Will and Elizabeth haven’t had a proper relationship yet! They need to see each other more often! AND in the next movie they just have to show Jack trying to get to the Fountain of Youth, and Elizabeth trying to break the curse in which Will is trapped in (the captain of the flying dutchman and no seeing Elizabeth for ten years until that 1 day thing) and more…. That’s what they should do! Not just leave us there without anything to watch (lol)!!! Even Johnny Depp wants Captain Jack Sparrow to come back! I agree Will is hot with a bandana around his head..If they do continue with a 4th and the original cast doesn’t want to be a part of it, maybe they can continue the story line with a relation between, and get another hotty..lol..of course, no one can replace the original cast..look at the Ocean 11 movies, they are still going, why can’t the pirates..One good final fantastic finale. With Will and Elizabeth getting together and maybe their child gets with Jacks long lost child and start another pirate adventure.

What you need to realize is that the movie ended perfectly. The story came full circle. Johnny ended back up in a dingy, Barbosa has the black pearl again, Will and Eliz were never together to begin with. Alot of people are upset that Will and Eliz were not together in the end. However I think this would leave a bad taste. Did you really want the movie ending with them just living together on land? How about capn Jack? People think that because they are going to go search for the fountain of youth that there will be another movie. This isnt true. They just left it open like that because its was is expected. Jack and Barbosa are going to continue to have adventures at sea, they are pirates after all. They couldnt end their story showing them settling down and getting real jobs. The ending to their story is that they are sailing of on another great adventure.

There has to be a fourth movie. I read that because Elizabeth stayed loyal to Will
Tia Dalma’s curse (The one that says the Captain of the flying Dutchman can only go on ground every ten years) is lifted and Will can do as he chooses, stay at sea, or with his wife and son. but it isnt explained very well. but the rest off the film was brilliant!!!
I really want there to be a fourth movie, but it has to be with Depp, Bloom and Knightly, otherwise, I dont see the point in another one. If they didnt want to make another film then the ending should have been explained better, but i know a lot of people who would like to see another film.

i agree with having a 4th movie especially w johnny depp in it. i liked the first 2 movies, but the third mvie just didnt make sense and there really wasnt that good of a plot. It was too long and everyone i know said it didnt make sense as well. i also heard that the kid in the beggining is elizabeths and turners baby and i want to find out more about that.

if orlando and kiera dont wanna be in the movie anymore, fine, but they
should still do it, i mean just filming the movie thinking about all the fans,
and
all the girls and boys that get inspired from the movies, i dont really
think of pirates of the caribbean as a movie, and i dont think buckheimer did at first either, i think of it as a reminder that even though it wasnt real, stuff like that could actually happen. Its a privllage to work on pirates of the caribbean,
and even though it might be hard work, it would be worth it. This movie gave me a liking for the sea. Im not saying to keep the pirates of the caribbean coming forever, i just want one last movie…..and i know the main villian died, but pirates of the caribbean is in a fantasy world, and they can do anything they want in it, and i applaud Dep, cuase either he knows what im talking about, or he is just in it for the money, but i dont think he is in it ALL for the money, i mean just look at the way he acts! Infact the intire crew looks like there having fun,

Well I just love the Deja-Vu similar person feeling when I watched pirates of the carribean at worlds end the characters that felt the same and were enjoyabley attractive was,
Captain Barbossa - Davy Jones
Captain Jack Sparrow - captain grant sparrow ”the sea sponge”

Alright, There should definatly be a fourth. The Third was good but I didn’t like alot of things that happened, some of it seemed against character from what we have seen in the first 2 movies. So they better make a fourth to fix things up.
Some examples per say: Warning spoilers if you didn’t see 3 yet.
#1 Elizabeth voting for herself in the bretheren court, She IS smarter than that, if all the pirates only vote for themselves then she would have voted for Jack…
Jack IS selfish at times and he so would have voted for himself…
#2 When Will is picked up by the EIC and Beckett, he is Way too cocky, Will was never like this in Any of the others, sure they “have changed” since the other movies.
#3 Jones stabbing Will, Yes its a twist in the movie but There were so many things that could and should have happened before he Stabbed him, Will’s father tackles Jones After he stabed him what it took him 15 minutes to look at the knife and realize what was going on? Jack was Way to hesitant, Not like Jack at all, though he wasnt sure if he really did want to captain the Dutchman for eternity. And finally the move that did Will in Jones’ Spinning Backwards Heel Kick to the back of the head, Davy Jones knew Jujitsu? he must have lived in Singapore…
there Are more but I would have to go see the 3rd for a 4th time to point them All out.

I think there should be a fourth movie for the ‘Pirates’ series because
still after the third film audiences around the globe want to know what
happens next. It would be a chatastrophe to just leave one of the greatest
film series ever to grace the siver screen on a cliff hanger. People around
the whole world would love to see the charecters return even after 2 or
more years. The film will only be acccepted by the world if the whole of
the charecters return (even captain barbossa’s monkey)& espeacially the
most brilliant charecter of them all portraid once again by by Johnny Depp

Just to clarify things, Will and Elizabeth’s child was the same actor as the
boy that was being hung at the beginning of the movie. The beginning
wasn’t a flashback or anything. That’s why their kid and the boy being
hung looked alike.

i dont know if everyone has seen past all the credits if you stay and watch till the very end of all the credits you will see elizabeth(kiera) come out and a little boy singing pirates and the sun will set and will(orlando) comes back 10 years later and he visits the little boy and kiera but doesnt set foot on land soo i dont know if there is going to be a fourth movie…

I thought Pirates 3 was Awesome!!! Hopefully they make a 4th & hopefully Capt Jack Sparrow,Will Turner & Elizabeth Swan will be back for the 4th Pirates!!!!!!! Without those three it wouldn’t be the same!!!!

Also, people don’t understand the situation about Will. Tia Dalma explained that, though he had to spend ten years at sea away from Elizabeth, if she was faithful to him and he did his job well he would be returned to her. Davey Jones kept souls on the Dutchman instead of ferrying them to the afterlife, causing him to be captain for eternity. At the end of the credits, Will returns to Elizabeth and their son. We see the green flash, showing that Will has returned from the “dead” and can be with Elizabeth for good.

If they do not have a Pirates 4 and totally undoe this horrible mess that they made, I am going to soooo have a melt down. I’m not sure if I really understand it all yet and I just want everything cleared up!!!!! Plus, if they do make a 4th and even one of the main characters isn’t in it, I’m going to scream, there is no way they could possibly do that to us devoted fans. Take away Johnny, Orlando, or Keira, and I refuse to see the movie!

Jack’s not that important. They could easily do one where Barbossa is the main character. They’ve really run the Will & Elizibeth thing dry though.

I’ve been waiting for the sequels. Yeah! Sequels!!! so I am expecting a lot from all the staffs and crew and definitely the casts to make the sequels more adventurous and exciting as the new sequel gave an astounding show.
if you’re finding a location for the next sequels, Philippines would like to be with this movie. I mean, there is so many places here that you can choose from. One of these is the sunken Japanese ships in Palawan but those ships are now a coral sanctuary and it looks very gorgeous and peculiar as I have to compare it with other sea treasures. the Hundred Islands of Pangasinan, the tubbataha sanctuary, the Batanes Islands. the Visayas Region and etc… are some of the spectacular place that will fit on the movie as I have seen the locations and places that you choose to the movie.
I have discovered that the Pirates’ writers, Mr. Rossio and Mr. Elliot are now preparing for the next sequels of this movie so if you need to have an exotic, outlook places to look for this movie, the Pearl of the Orient is the right place to choose from. If the two of you had the chance to connive with Singapore for this movie, why not Philippines…
I’m not offering my country but It is a suggestion from a big, huge, gigantic, galactic fan of yours.
I can wait just to be assure that the next sequels will be a right sure hit!!! and I’m expecting from all of you guys!!! I love it and someday, I would like to be with this movie, Voluntarily, if they need some… that’s how I’m desperate to watch all of you again, Pirates!!!

The pirates of the caribbean 3 was very astonishing!!!
I love to see them again, the main cast, definitely, Mr. John Christopher Depp, Ms. Keira Knightley and Mr. Orlando Bloom and with the 8 more lord Pirates, very amazing as I have seen it very realistic in the midst of its fantastical realm and 2:50 hours is not enough to watch the movie, maybe 3, 4 or 5 hours will do so… Yeah!!! it’s hot!!! extremely hot adventures and productions… I really admired them a lot so I’m really waiting for the next sure hit spectacle!!!

I hope there’s a fourth to close the loop with Elizabeth and Will - They need a more happier ending. Every story needs a happy ending. At the end of the 3rd moview it looks like Elizabeth and Will know have a son. They can do a spin-off with the son and maybe teh son is against pirating becuase it took his father away from him.

The part after the credits showed Elizabeth and Will reuniting 10 yrs later.
Remember how Calypso said if they were faithful then after the 10 years Will could be released from his captain duty? Well that part proved that their relationship was faithful and it was a happy ending =) Calypso and Davey Jones had a tragic ending because they were unfaithful throughout THEIR 10 years.
So now that I understand the ending completely…PIRATES 3 DID HAVE A GREAT ENDING!!!

My hopes were set on this movie and you completely abolished everything good about the bombastical movie that pirates used to be! Who do you think you are???
Johnny Depp was the only living proof that these movies are even about pirates, and Elizabeth, Will, Tia Dalma, Davy Jones, and Bootstrap are so undeveloped and superfluous that any kind of plot that’s attempted to be developed is butchered by some kind of an attempt at being dramatic. And you guys turned Elizabeth’s character into a complete sneaky tramp by the end of the the third movie.
What happened to the pirates we once loved?! IS THERE ANY HUMANITY LEFT IN THIS WORLD? I swear, if they make a fourth movie that is anything like the third one, I’m going to run to my roof and scream at the top of my lungs…

Orlando and Johnny are HoTT!!!almost everyone i know is obssesed with the movies as a whole plus they love the length to soak up thier beauty!!! wow and do i agree!! anyone with me? I hope they will continue to make more!! no matter how wonderfull they are or how amazing or bad they may be(not that any of them have been bad yet/ all super good!!) I’ll watch a couple times in the theater and buy the DVD!!! trust me …i wanna go to a premieir too but thats a long shot! oh well i hope all the caracters stay and that neither kiara orlando or johnny die off…maybe gibbs or something :( that would be sad too but better than the main characters! oo and if someone would be so kind as to tell me what happened after the crdits…i left not thinking there was more…and i totally regret it!!! uufmp…i wish i already owned all 3 movies…or maybe that i could be in one…but I would be 99.9% positive that it wouldn’t happen!!! oh well …

Sorry to bust everyone’s hopes but I think this is it for Pirates. I ABSOLUTELY love the third pirates. I even watched it twice. Believe me I want there to be a 4th Pirates. Buuutt at the end, Jack is going after the fountain of youth which is located….dun da daaaaaahh in Florida. The fountain of youth is located in Florida (you can even see where it says CUBA) and the X is right where Orlando is…….get it? The fountain of youth is located in DISNEY WORLD!!! When he opened the map and the camera zoomed in on the X, you can clearly see that the location was in Orlando, Florida. Sorry, i love POTC as much as anyone, but i think it is over. AHhhh i didn’t want to say it, but I had to. If you don’t believe me jsut watch it again…that is what I did. It is pretty clever though if you think about it. The Fountain of Youth is where Disney World is. Cool haw. See ya

IMPORTANT: OK, first of all, from what I’ve read Johnny Depp is definitely open to doing a fourth installement, that is if they do a fourth. Orlando Bloom replied on the Jay Leno show “I’m ready to do a tenth” when asked “Are You ready for another Pirates?” Kiera Knightly
nobody is sure about. Jerry Bruckheimer believes this is the end of the trilogy for now.
Terry Rossio, one of the screenplay writers, said at a book singing for one of his books “We
will try to write another screenplay but I think if I approach Gore Verbinski with an under
water scene, he’ll probably run the other way.” Also from what i’ve read, if they do do
another, it would probably be the summer of 2009 so the cast and crew can take a long deserving break. And you just can’t have one of the main characters be something that important and just cut it off there, it just doesn’t work. And I want a fourth just as bad as anyone else does.

Even though the 3rd one ended with Will coming back on land to live with Elizabeth and their son and it was a HAPPY ENDING (no it did not end with will and elizabeth seeing eachother once every 10 years it ended with Will going back on land since their relationshipstayed faithful throughout the 1st 10 years like Calypso said)
I still hope there will be a 4th Pirates movie!!! I just LOVE KEIRA KNIGHTLEY!!! Her and Orlando Bloom better be the stars in the 4th movie or it won’t be the same!

I was sitting in the theatre, so into this movie and then this happened to Will. It
changed it completely for me. Whomever thought of that twist should have
thought it over once more. Having this 10 year one day thing was just plain
stupid. Did they run out of ideas? If they did run out of ideas then they best not
have Pirates 4. If they can fix this horrible piece with Will and Elizabeth and
bring back Jack then PLEASE do have a Pirates 4. I didn’t stay after the credits but
now I should have. I was glad they brought back the character of Barbosa. I
love his character. So, to those who made Pirates, please if you make another
this time could you make the end feel like the END.

There is no way that they would every make another Pirates movie without Johnny Depp/Captain Jack because he IS the main character - no director in their right mind would create another sequel without his main character. And I’d have to say a movie following Elizabeth and Will wouldn’t be bad, unless the whole script is. But there’s no way Jack wouldn’t be in it.
I’ve got to say that I’d like to have a fourth one if they decide to make one, but if not I’m happy with the third one as the last. Everyone doesn’t like the third one because they think “Jack should’ve done this”, “This should’ve happened first”, “I don’t like the part when…”, which I’d say to just suck it up. If you dislike a lot of the parts in the movie, then just don’t watch it - It’d be pointless to just watch it because of Capt. Jack or Will Turner. Don’t waste your time watching it and pointing out all of the “flaws” of each of the characters. YOU don’t know the characters and you’re definitely NOT the writers. I’d think that the writers and the actors know them better than you. You’re just the audience. And you’d think that an actor like Johnny Depp would speak up if he didn’t think what his character said was really what his character would say - and HE WOULD. Stop patronizing the characters just because how they “acted” in the movie was to your liking. If you didn’t like it, just simply NOT watch the movie.
And if anyone thinks that there wasn’t exactly an “end” to the whole trilogy/movie, then I guess you’re just not really observant or a good listener. They left it possible for there to be a fourth if they wanted to — JUST LIKE THE FIRST ONE. They didn’t think they’d create a second, or even a third. If you don’t like how the second and third one was, then just stick to only watching the first. There’s no point in you watching the second/third if you’re not open to the plot and the characters. (Another thing I’ve got to say that even if they characters acted SOMEWHAT different than the first or second at one point in the movie, a simple answer to that would be that the character has GROWN since the first two. It’d be boring if there wasn’t a change in a character from the first - It’d be like you stayed the age of six forever or there is no change in season or flowers stayed the same or whatever else. No change would be boring, and you’d probably get restless after awhile.

I think they planned another without Keira and Orlando from the beginning. Their story was finished unless they skip 10 years for the next one (watch end of credits, she has his son and Orlando is coming back after ten years to visit for a day). The Keira/Orlando story was very tired and she kissed every man in the movie(maybe because Orlando’s character had such an apparent lack of depth)! However, Jack and Barbossa are going after the fountain, thats where the story is (Orlando wouldnt have time to help Jack because he has to do the job that Davy Jones wasnt doing). Also, what happens with Calypso and Davy Jones, I want to see some more of that. Jack is back to his old self and was very decisive at the end look for greatness from him in part 4. Depp is the Pirates franchise, once he quits all others will be cheap imitations, but Orlando and Keira could have been replaced by any good looking actor/actress.
