Tim Story was successfully able to trick Hollywood into making a Silver Surfer movie under the pretense of a Fantastic Four sequel. It now looks like Story has thought about introducing the Black Panther in Fantastic Four 3.
“I’ve got to tell you, to get the ‘Fantastic Four’ and turn it into a franchise, the first thing I thought was, ‘Will I get the Silver Surfer’? Or someone like [the superhero] Black Panther, who was introduced in their book, get Djimon Hounsou and go do it?’ But there are so many other great villains and stories - I feel like I hit the jackpot,” Story told the LA Times (via: KungFu).
The Black Panther was the first modern Black superhero. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in Fantastic Four vol. 1, #52 in July 1966. The Black Panther is entitled to the use of a heart-shaped herb that grants the person who consumes it enhanced strength, agility, and perception. Definitely not as cool as The Silver Surfer, that much is for sure. He looks like the poor man’s Batman.

I would love to see BP in the F4 movie! I guess you didn’t pick up FANTASTIC FOUR #545, when King T’Challa aka Black Panther put Silver Surfer in a arm lock/choke hold he could not get out of. IMO Silver Surfer is just another lacky for Galactus. BP on the other hand, is no ones punk or lacky. SS isn’t as cool as The Black Panther, that much is for sure. Also BP is King of his own country, with a beautiful, smart and powerful wife. What is Batman? A self absorbed man with a company running around with children and staying in the shadows. It sounds like King T’Challa has Bruce beat. So if anyone is the poor man, it’s Batman. It sounds like Batman may also need therapy.

and you can’t compare BP to the Bat. it’s like apples and oranges. BP has a purpose. Batnam is just… bored and rich.

well for FF3 they could have BP and Storm join FF because Sue and Reed get married in FF2 and in the comics they both takesome time off to work on their marrage
but that wont happen its too early to have reed and sue leave maybe in FF4
have BP and Storm join and Reed Sue leave. for FF3 they could have Aron the Rouge watcher or the Beyonder and save BP and Storm for FF$ and just have a major battle with Doom thats what i would do if i was Tim Story

Forget about Djimon, diggyman or whatever his name is, If there’s a 3 they should cast this guy I saw on tv last night name Lorado Sheppard, better actor,great body build (muscles!!!), very handsome. If they don’t he’ll eventually show up as a superhero in a movie……I’m sure of it!

If a no named like Brandon landed the new Superman role I’m quite sure there’s room for a guy like Lorado. Besides you don’t want to run into the same problems of actors becoming to expensive as the series progresses. Think about it!

i think having the black panther in Fantastic Four 3, would be stupid. They should have Galactus still alive, as you see the silver surfer was still alive, and if the board was still a live that means that galactus is coming to that board. And i’d like to see galactus in a movie, cause he was one of the most kick ass villains of all time. and personally i hate black panther

What is BP going to do he’ll get his ass kicked 10 seconds he has no powers if Captain America beat his ass do you really think The Thing won’t. If The Batman and bp fought he bp would be dead. Batman is a psycho he almost beat superman (Frank Millers The Dark Knight Returns) when he was like 60 years old. And do you know who is being asked to play bp Will Smith thats worse than heath ledger play The Joker.
