Paramount/Dreamworks have released 45 50 new photos from Michael Bay’s big screen live action adaptation of Transformers. Not many pics of the big robots in action. Looks like the studio is holding off on the release of those photos. We collected the images, which can be seen after the jump, from a bunch of sources: Megan-fox.net, palpatine, celebutopia.net, via the SHH Forums. Click on the images to see higher resolution versions (which may vary depending on image). Transformers hits theaters on July 4th 2007.
Bad News: Paramount contacted us and asked that we remove the images. Apparently a whole disc of unauthorized images slipped out into the online world. We have posted all the official authorized images for the film below:

Whoa. Everyone who’s officially looking forward to the Transformers, please raise your hand. Because if you’re not, then you need to reconnect with your inner teenager. I’m guessing $250-$275 million domestic, 2x that internationally.
May 6th, 2007 at 3:39 am
where are all the robots
May 6th, 2007 at 4:53 am
“where are all the robots”
that chick looks like a sex machine O.o
May 6th, 2007 at 5:24 am
i’m NOT going to see this movie because i AM connected with my inner teenager (well, inner nine year old or something, i was pretty young when transformers was huge). this isn’t trasnformers, it is some awful monstrosity of explosions and cheesy dialog.
you all realize this is the guy that made pearl harbor, right?
pearl harbor.
May 6th, 2007 at 5:53 am
I agree. Pearl Harbor. Plus, I never realized that the Autobots signed an endorsement deal with General Motors when they landed on Earth. But, I’m probably bluffing. I will see it, but I reserve the right to complain about everything.
May 6th, 2007 at 6:07 am
oh you are all going to go see it, don’t lie. i can’t wait. looks awesome.
May 6th, 2007 at 6:18 am
Hmmm, is this film called Transformers? Or the Adventures of Shia Laboeuf
and Megan Fox?
Not a fan of Bay cuz I didn’t like Armageddon but won’t jump on the hate
wagon.
Hoping to see more of the robots rather than some Prom Queen posing for a
video shoot.
May 6th, 2007 at 6:33 am
Yeah, this is nothing like the original - I guess I’m too well connected to my inner teen to ever accept this movie.
May 6th, 2007 at 6:38 am
It is looking awesome I think, I hope it lives up to all the hype though.
May 6th, 2007 at 7:09 am
Yeah, that chick does look like a sex machine. I bet she likes to take it up the butt. LOL!
May 6th, 2007 at 7:31 am
Oh man, Transformers: The Movie is going to be awesome. Now if only they would start up the old animated series again… ;)
May 6th, 2007 at 7:52 am
gee… this looks more like a photo op for ms. fox and mr. labeouf than a movie about machines. where are the transformers? those are the pictures i want to see… seriously, who wants to see another teenage romance that thinks it’s real love? pfft.
May 6th, 2007 at 8:48 am
I really hope all those stills of 20-somethings with stupid looks on their faces
constitute the entierty of thier screen time. If I go to see the Transformers
movie and it’s 80% of people running for their lives a la Godzilla,
I’m gonna be pissed.
May 6th, 2007 at 8:53 am
“where are all the robots”
They’re in disguise!
May 6th, 2007 at 10:07 am
Let’s hope that these are only photoshoots and not flicks from the movie itself because if they are they are going to ruin the whole myth around this film, it isn’t only one or two poeple that remind of the good times of watching Transformers on saturday mornings… let’s hope…
Bunch of Hollyromance cash generation that seem to control the productions…
Meh!
May 6th, 2007 at 11:50 am
How can you think that even Michael Bay could screw up a movie based on what was essentially an ad for toys? Robots will transform; things will blow up; What more could you possibly need to make this movie exactly like the cartoon. It wasn’t exactly Shakespeare, you know?
May 6th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
WHERE ARE THE CHRISTING ROBOTS????????
May 6th, 2007 at 12:06 pm
Marpin has it exactly right. If any director in Hollywood knows how to shoot stuff blowing up, it’s Michael Bay. And car chases. On a freeway. That’s Michael Bay in a nutshell. There’s really no no way Bay’s going to shortchange us, action wise. Plus, giant frakkin’ robots, people. It’s a marriage made in heaven (or hell, if you prefer).
May 6th, 2007 at 1:10 pm
Transformers G1 the cartoon happened at the peak of my childhood. And with “inner child/teenager” fully intact, I must admit that I am exited to see a new take on this cool but trite concept. The Transformers were originally nothing more than a blip on saturday morning television. Don’t get mad because they are doing it with a different twist. And for the storyline comments… I won’t even get into that. The cartoon had so much swiss cheese in the story, that It’s amazing that any of the episodes even fit together. It was nothing more than robots changing into vehicles and fighting. It was nothing more than that, so don’t tout it as the pinnacle of cohesive storytelling. It’s just visual fluff. And so… Even if Michael Bay has proven himself capable of destroying movies with story, (and everyone here knows what i’m talking about) He most definitely is more than capable of destruction. And destruction IS what the Transformers are all about. I challenge you guys who are pissed off with the design to just not see it. Go watch the animated movie on opening day and pretend you’re sitting in the theater, enjoying the show along with everyone else. And by doing so, you’ll be putting one less dollar in the pockets you hate so much.
May 6th, 2007 at 1:43 pm
Why did they ruin transformers? If they want to take a previously successful franchise from the 80s, reinvent 90% of it to make it suck, then they’re hacks. Complete hacks. You know how much more they could make if they stayed true to the original series? Every Gen Y’er is going to watch it once and complain endlessly.
MEGATRON WAS A GUN… jeeze.
May 6th, 2007 at 1:44 pm
I hope that Bumblebee isn’t that yellow car seen in these pictures. Bumblebee is supposed to be a yellow VW Bug.
May 6th, 2007 at 2:37 pm
Tim, sorry to disappoint you, but yep, doesn’t look like Bumblebee will be a VW bug in the Transformers movie. I think he’s a muscle car at first, then upgrades later on. I’m sure Slashfilm has some pics of Bumblebee’s first incarnation (the main character finds him in a used car lot, so he’s beat up and worn out, at least on the outside).
May 6th, 2007 at 4:27 pm
Tim, I wasn’t joking before when I said it: GM endorsement deal. Notice that EVERY car, even those in the background, are GM vehicles. Bumblebee starts as a vintage camaro, then gets upgraded to the NEW Camaro, which -in a stunning coincidence- comes out next summer.
May 6th, 2007 at 5:32 pm
iTod, good post. I guess we should remember that Michael Bay started his career directing TV commercials and music videos, so selling product isn’t new to Bay. Heck, his last film, The Island, had product placement everywhere. It was so much that critics mentioned it (ok, I know I did in my review). If anyone can stop a scene in mid-action for product placement and not create any negative backlash, it’s Michael Bay. Can’t wait to play spot-the-product in Transformers.
May 6th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
if anyone has actual robot pics send them here
May 6th, 2007 at 10:13 pm
there are so meny things wrong with this movie - i just don’t know where to begin. but you have to admint there are robots not transformers and they look like crap - i’ve seen a photocopyer ad with better transformers in it, FOR SHAME BAY!
re-name it “Indepence day 2: lame robots attack” mush more fitting.
ty for the pics anyway.
May 7th, 2007 at 5:41 am
Product placement anyone? I see twelve pictures of prominently placed GM cars (
(if you count the ones of a stretched hottie holding an hood open) and SIX featuring robots (if you include the cute little one).
Up until a few minutes ago I was fired up. Now I see we’re one Taco Bell commemorative cup away from Godzilla II.
May 7th, 2007 at 3:01 pm
I just read thewebguy’s comment and I do agree this is from the saem dude who made Pearl Harbor! But I laugh at the fact that people are mad that this is explosions and cheesy dialogues! Im a huge TF G1 fan and Ive seen the animated movie over a trillion times and… far as Im concern its cheesy dialogues and explosions there too! People are just mad cuz Optimus got lips and these giant robots arent the same boxy lookin machines they were in our younger days!
May 7th, 2007 at 3:36 pm
just like the ad of volvo … we’re boxy … but we’re damn good … thats how i could describe TF G1 …
so why the sudden change of appearance ? seems like they lifted it out from the T100 from the terminator series … only on a much bigger scale …
cheers !!!
May 7th, 2007 at 3:46 pm
I can see at least 3 Ford cars in these pics. Not including the pics from before.
The police cruiser is a Mustang. Stop whining about product placement. Besides
Where does it say that the autobots cant be GM cars, they do make up a huge portion of the industry. (how many VW beatles do you see compared to GM on a daily basis) My point is who cares if Bumblebee isnt a bug, Comaros are cooler anyway.
May 7th, 2007 at 3:59 pm
you guys make me laugh…if Bay had tried to keep it like G1, you all would be bitching that they dont look real enough… and the reason the vehicles cant be the originals (VWs, Porches, etc;) is because they couldnt get consent from the car makers…apparently, after the whole WW2 thing, the Germans aren’t really for promoting war;) So shut your mouths, enjoy it or dont, but theere is no reason to cry like the little kids you are over whatis essentially a toy commercial turned into a world phenom… I cant wait for this movie:) And, yes, I am a child of the 80s who grew up with the same TFs as the rest of you. If you want to bitch, bitch about Beast Wars…now THAT sucked
May 7th, 2007 at 4:16 pm
I was with tfmovieFAN until he decided to take an unmerited, unfair swipe at Beast Wars. Sure, it wasn’t the Tranformers, but it was the next best thing. Heck, I watched it religiously every afternoon a few years ago when I was unemployed (lots of free time on my hands). Not bad, not bad at all.
May 7th, 2007 at 6:13 pm
Do you really think they going to show all the cool battle scenes and transformers so early on.
May 7th, 2007 at 8:21 pm
oh noes! he made pearl harbor! man he wrote a horrible movie…oh wait he didn’t write it. HE DIRECTED IT!!!LOLOLOL!!!!1!!!1!1!1ELEVEN!!
May 7th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
Matt & Trey made fun of pearl harbor so it must suck because i’ve never seen it. ROFLMAOBBQSAMMICH!!!1!1! EAT A DICK WEBGUY.
May 7th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
I wish that instead of Bay they had placed a porn director to do this movie. Even Jenna Jameson cuz she’s now experimenting with directing and producing (there’s nothing else she could experiment with). This way we would see a LOT of scenes where Ms. Fox showers the dirt from her face/body and then get it on with Optimus. Or even during it. Who knows. Only with at least 50 shots of ass and tits can that girl’s presence justify the amount of pictures shown in this site. It would still be a cool movie with explosions and if it sucks, then these kids who talk shit about movies before even seeing them wouldn’t be able to write down shit due to the boner of watching their first (and probably last) set of breasts in their life.
May 8th, 2007 at 1:49 pm
still no robots in the robot movie pics
May 8th, 2007 at 4:29 pm
are you all blind? there are at least 100 pics of the tfs from the movie floating around out there…and as ‘ha’ pointed out, they have said numerous times, they are NOT releasing all the pics and scenes from the movie…you have to SEE it. i know, its an amazing concept, actually seeing a movie to judge whether or not its good, but give it a try…you guys might like it… ps, check out tfw2005.com if you want the best updated material…they pull stuff from other tf sites too, but its all good stuff
May 9th, 2007 at 7:22 am
I think… It´s a good chance to see fx, and yes, we all realized he made Pearl Harbor but we all do mistakes.
May 10th, 2007 at 2:45 pm
Eh dudes !! This is a Real Transformers Movie…..
This is how a mancan Transforms a nostalgic, legendary and classic tv series in a PERFECT GARBAGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How they could do that……..it’s an insult for all Trans-Fans whom growed with the spark beating ang glowing in our hearts……..
You deserved to BOICOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERYBODY MUST NOT GO TO SEE THIS PILE OF SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Starscream………………..
May 12th, 2007 at 8:45 am
All of you guys need to stop. You know when this movie comes out you will be sitting in the movies first day like everyone else. Thats why you are surfin the net for pictures and what ever else you can find. STOP FRONTIN! Its ok to feel like a kid again about transformers. You already knew that the movie was going to be different than the old cartoon. MOVIES DO THAT! Name one cartoon or comic book turned movie that was identical to the source. NONE! We will all have to way and see if its any good. IT MAY JUST BLOW YOU AWAY! About Bumblebee-why would you want to see an ugly slow ass VW bug in this movie? I love the cartoon but come on its 2007 guys that shit wouldn’t work. Just be happy hes yellow.
May 22nd, 2007 at 10:24 pm
I’m feeling nervous about the movie. It’s going to be tough to beat the
cartoon version back in 86. I also believe that if the producers would have
stuck with the original story line and made the Transformers “transform”
similar to how they looked in the 80’s, the movie would have a bigger turn
out and make more money. I’m staying optimistic and at least Im happy
to find Peter Cullen as the original voice of Prime! I wish Megatron’s voice
would have been the same.
May 23rd, 2007 at 7:06 am
man this movie looks weak they dont look like transformers they look like
werd robots with blury face dam man spielberg hese fucking this movie up this is no no e.t hese to old to no transformers like whe no it from the 80s
May 24th, 2007 at 10:42 am
I said it already and I guess I have to say it again. You knew they were not going to look the same! It’s 2007 man wake up. New time, new look, new story. Stop knockin it and you didn’t even see it yet. Get off that 80’s shit. What the transformers were back then is history. 80’s version “classic”. Open your eyes man and stop complaining. The new trailer looks hot and I’m waiting to see if it’s any good. I already knew the story was going to be different besides I really don’t think I would want to see the same story I already know again. Only question is if the story makes sense and if it does and the movie is a hit then what would you say? Would you eat your words or be a fake ass and still knock it knowing you actually like it and feel you can’t say so because you were negative torwards it all this time. Man up homie! Just chill and be patient. OUT
May 24th, 2007 at 6:36 pm
The reason people keep bringing up the 80’s is because that is the
generation of people that are going to see this movie in the first place.
Most “Transformers” fans are in their 30’s and all of them love the G-1
series. How many fans do you hear about saying how awesome “Beast
Wars” are or how awesome “Energon” is??? The transformers now a days
are nothing like the first ones. I remember when the action figures used to
fly off the shelf and people would get in fist fights outside the department
stores! You ask why so much talk about the 80’s? Because the 80’s is
where most of the fans come from, that’s why! If this movie was catered
more to the 30’s generation the movie would make a killing in the box
office!
May 24th, 2007 at 7:55 pm
What are you talkin about? I’m 28 yrs old. I grow up on the G-1 man. Beast Wars and Energon are garbage like the rest of these cartoons they got for the kids these days. I know all about the 80’s version but it’s time for something new. Off topic a little - What you think about a live action Thundercats movie?
May 25th, 2007 at 9:26 am
Thunder Cats, Silver hawks, Gi Joe etc… those would all make good live
action movies, but I’m talking about ideas to getting more people to actualy
want to spend their money to go see it at the movies and make the
movie a box office hit like spiderman did. Movies like Star wars, comic heros,
and new ideas of our generation all have a following, us! Even if a movie is
a total flop like some of the Batman movies were, they did pretty well
because there were fans wanting to see it. I agree that the 90’s and
currently there are no new ideas. This generation lacks style, ideas, and
music. I feel sorry for my son who is growing up now and all he has to
look forward to is those cheesy cartoon shows on the cartoon network.
There’s no passion for MTV, television shows, styles, and toys. Its so bad
that Hollywood has had to resort to making movies that came from past
shows, The style is starting to repeat it self, and bands are singing the
same songs from the past but changing the version a little! Music singers
are no longer artists and they’re even caught lip singing on stage! I
agree with Jeter it is time for something new but who’s going to make
that new idea? That new invention? That new style?
May 26th, 2007 at 6:03 am
i have read the comic version of this movie and it sucks its no problem to change little but look at the damn robots they are ugly to many wires i hope it turn out good but what i have seen in that comic whas bad to me
i hope they make good movie of jayce and the wheeled warriors lol
June 4th, 2007 at 5:29 pm
I’m surprised no one has commented on the new movie trailer. Was i the
only one to notice Bay’s statement of a Volkswagon Bug for Bumblebee?
In the trailer it’s not only a coincidence that Bumblebee was parked next to
a smaller and older Volkswagon. I think Bay was trying to show that a
meaner and tougher sports car would be a better fit.
June 11th, 2007 at 3:52 pm
The clip floating around with optimus vs bonecrusher is pretty impressive. Bay said that the clip is nothing compared to other scenes in the movie.
June 23rd, 2007 at 2:48 pm
seriously @ the end of the day were the hell is sound wave..you know the little walkman guy who had a bunch on tapes popping out of his chest..that guy throu such a dynamic twist..his voice out ranked the rest…and im going to comment on megatron aswell..he has only one form and thats a dd44 destovel. if they had of brought him back as a swastica i would be just as impressed but wtf happened here…lets keep it real for the ones who actually made it possible by sucking this japanese masterpeice up as kids..so not impressed..this movie should of been derected by a real fan who understands the big picture maybe next time we’ll keep it close to the story and not a americanised version
June 23rd, 2007 at 2:50 pm
ME NO LIKE THIS MOVIE..BIG PEACE OF GARBAGE…
June 23rd, 2007 at 3:09 pm
just be happy b-bee is yellow…screw that noice..i want my v.w. back..bumble bee is suppossed to be a pussie,a push over, the autobot that is easy to over come, but has a heart of gold that’s why they made him yellow.the yellow is actually the colour of his spark “gold” like his heart of gold..and the fact that they drew him as a beatle was for a reason..its optomis’s little buddy..bumble bee is like the autistic kid you watch out for in life..not a beefed up charger or mustang made by gm, the role of bad ass was already asigned to some one else and that is Megatron, who also im sorry has his role reversed in this movie..
I’m confused who am i looking at when i see the so called “anitbot/christ” called megatron..this guy is the kind of weapon i bring to water gun fight with my kid brother..
July 2nd, 2007 at 9:22 pm
I just seen the Transformers movie and I would give it a strong 9 out of 10. It has tons of action and the robots really look great on screen. A must see on the big screen. A lot of people will be impressed with the job Michael Bay did. Thumbs way up.
October 8th, 2007 at 11:37 am
Bumblebee was originally a Beatle. However when asked for the rights to use the VW Bug in the movie, Volkswagen stated that they could not use it because the movie glorified war and they did not want to be associated with War of any kind (this is a rather humorous irony since the German auto manufacturer was started and funded by war). There is, however, a small “homage” made to the original Bumblebee as the car parked right next to him in the used car lot was in fact, his original form.
October 8th, 2007 at 2:08 pm
I was not aware that Michael Bay even considered using the
VW. Good point Jerome, the car dealership did begin with
money funded from the war! LOL
I think alot of people that posted the pesismistic comments
about the movie have been left with their foot in their mouths!
The movie was awesome and i plan to buy the DVD when it
comes out later this month.
As for part 2, I’ve heard it will begin production this fall! SoundWave is definitely being considered for the movie as
well as RC. I’m hoping alot of Transformer fans will begin to
speak out about getting Frank Welker in the next movie. Even
though he did not play megatron he would be awesome at playing
SoundWave’s old voice!
February 1st, 2008 at 1:58 am
2 thumbs up men!!!! really cool!!!awesome!!!!! I am a big fan of transformer since i was a kid..from cartoon now you made like it was real!!!!!
February 4th, 2008 at 11:41 am
wow!
