After months of speculation, George Lucas has revealed that Sean Connery’s role as Indiana Jones father is included in Indiana Jones 4. Here’s the catch: the former James Bond star has not yet signed on to return.
“We have a script with him in it,” Lucas told Reuters. “If he doesn’t do it, we’ll do a quick rewrite.”
A quick rewrite? Doesn’t the movie start shooting in less than a month? If this is their mindset, I hope Conner’s part is very small, for their sake. Because a major character rewrite this late in to development could ruin the entire film.

I am so excited about the upcoming return of Indiana Jones! I am crossing my fingers that
Sean Conery returns out of retirment for one more adventure!!! It just wont be the same
without him.
