I watched the movie in Singapore. It was one of the best films I have watched in recent memory. The story line, the slowness of the movie enchanted me and it helped my agitated and wavering mind to calm down. It achieved the quietness I yearned for most. Amazing performances by all most notably by debutant Norah Jones. Lovely movie. Not to miss.

[...] Peter over at /Film has hooked everyone up with a first look at Natalie Portman in My Blueberry Nights, a film about the trials and tribulations of love being directed by Wong Kar Wai. The film also stars Norah Jones, Rachel Weisz, Jude Law, David Strathairn and Ed Harris; but at this point all I can say is, “Damn, I love Natalie Portman when she looks trashy.” It reminds me of the club scene from Closer.
