I am very sad. I had heard that DIRTY DANCING was being released in theatres but was not sure when. I missed it! I am 23 and have loved this movie since I was 5! I wish they would have done longer than 2 days!

My parents would not let me watch this movie when it came to theaters the first time, I was 13, and they thought I was too young!! I was so excited that I would finally get to see it in the theater and it didn’t show anywhere near me! How much money was lost by not showing it everywhere? Can anyone make it happen?

They should re-release more movies from the 70s in 80s in small revivals in state of the art theaters - it’s a way for the studios to promote the old films and the DVDs from it.

I watched this movie in the theaters so many times and now I would love to see it in a theater with my 25 year old daughter who has only seen it on TV. We live in the NYC area and want to know which theaters it will be showing….thanks

I am really upset that the re-release is not going to be anywhere in Nebraska, And Only 1 Theater in Iowa 5 hours from me. My Parents live in TX, and Sherman and Plano TX are getting showings, ontop of like 15 other TX theaters and Omaha is 5X the size of Sherman and Plano put together?? This is just really annoying to me, a life long DD Fan! :(
