A couple days ago we posted the production photos and movie trailer for Fox Searchlight’s Once. We now have a look at the film’s theatrical poster, as seen right. Click on the photo to see an enlarged version. We’ve been excited to see this flick ever since we missed it at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where everyone was raving about this low budget musical. And the fact that Searchlight is distributing this flick says a lot about it’s quality.
Once is a modern day musical set on the streets of Dublin. Featuring Glen Hansard and his Irish band “The Frames,” the film tells the story of a street musician and a Czech immigrant during an eventful week as they write, rehearse and record songs that reveal their unique love story.
The film hits theaters on May 18, 2007.
