But now /Film is reporting that the cause for the delay was that the production was tying to get in a cameo with Fanboy #1 Kevin Smith as well as trying to wrangle up the necessary permissions to use some of the original sound effects from Star Wars and now that that’s all sorted out, the movie is ready for audiences and has been slated for release on August 17th.
