Not only do we completely not care about Kate Beckinsale potential casting in the remake of Barbarella, but we’re completely uninterested in the whole project. But as it turns out, this is the slowest news day in a while, so we need to report something.
The chick flick turned bad genre movie actress is rumored to be in consideration for the lead role, according to the Daily Express. No director is attached. Casino Royale screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are penning the remake. But we still don’t care. Someone, please wake us up when something interesting happens.

Kate Beckinsale is so gorgeous she makes my eyes hurt, yet she seems to appear mostly in movies that make my eyes hurt (and not in a good way). I’d almost pay just to see her on screen reading a phone book, but yow she has terrible tastes in scripts.

Barbarella, er, Jane Fonda was the first vision of beauty I had ever seen as a 12-year old boy. Not to mention the first naked women I had ever seen. She filled my dreams and shaped my sexuality. I still dream about Barbarella. The movie must be made or this world aint worth nothin. Dont agree? I dont care! Stop trashing the Queen of the Galaxy and my heart. Thanks.
