Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that Spider-Man 3 director Sam Raimi is “planning a return to the horror genre”. Although the site doesn’t give any indication where the confirmation came from, or what exactly was said. This much is certain: Sony is going to try their best to sign Raimi on for Spider-Man 4. If Sam turns down the job, I’m sure New Line is mighty interested in the Evil Dead director helming The Hobbit. So when exactly will Raimi find the time for another genre film? I’m guessing he won’t.
