We kinda missed this yesterday, but Dreamworks released a new photo from Transformers. The new photo shows a close-up of Bumblebee. So far he appears to have the most personality of the bunch, and rightfully so - he’s the robot/human connection. Click on the photo above for a larger view.
In the movie, Bumblebee ends up being Sam Witwicky’s (Shia LaBeouf) first car. When the Decepticons target Sam for the map he possess that shows the location of the life-giving Allspark, Bumblebee is assigned to guard Sam and gets closer to him by posing as a used car which Sam then buys. While the autobot has appeared as a Volkswagen Beetle in the toyline and animated series, he instead appears in the film as a 1970s Chevrolet Camaro, and later as a modified 2009 preproduction version of the car.
Michael Bay’s Transformers hits theater on July 4th 2007.

Wow. Finally seen Bumblebee’s face for the very first friggin’ time. Weird. It looks a little…..fat. And scruncy. Like he’s retarded or somethin;…well he is a mute.

I think it would be really cool if all the Autobots were real and living with us humans. Now that will be so cool if they all did. I think having an Autobots following people around will be so funny and cool. But I can’t belive Sam Witwicky didn’t even know that Bumblebee is keeping an eye on Sam just to protect him. If I was Sam would just turn arround and said “Bumblebee are you following because I got something you and the other Autobots need.” But I think the Autobots are so cool then the Decepticons way better. Iwish Ihad a car turn out to be Bumblebee now that will be so cool. But I think having Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ratchet and Ironhide will also be cool too. Have all five of them following me around now that will be fun and cool.
