How many people buy the Green Arrow comic? Like 50-60 thousand. That would be the entire ticket sales of this movie. It would have NO appeal to anyone who doesn’t read the comic. And to make it less appealing to the masses they’re thinking of using Kevin Smith? This could negate all the money Dark Knight has made.

The concept of any superhero jailed for being a vigilante is gut-wrenching at best. Instead of good always triumphs over evil, the concept reverts to in the end evil will get the best of good and good becomes evil.

I thoroughly enjoyed Batman Begins and look forward to The Dark Knight in a few weeks. If the Green Arrow film moves as quickly and has the same depth to character development that we saw with Batman it will be a worthy addition to the growth in cinematic superhero lore.

Green arrow has always been an in the shadows hero that would be awesome to expose to those that are unaware of his character. 2009 can’t come soon enough!

I have recently finished a screenplay based on green Arrow year one - and i am about to begin the direct sequal to this film. All though i have heard that work on the film has technically begun, WB are still looking for ideas for the story- the film due to release in late 09.

i have a meeting with WB next week.

I think you should make a conventional superhero movie to spread a good name for green arrow he isn’t exactly the most famous superhero but he does kick alot of butt. robin hood is doing well doing what he was made to do why not the same for Green Arrow!

This is the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard of. This is a Super Hero Movie not “Prison Break”.

By taking Ollie out of his costume and stripping him of his bow, he’s no longer “Green Arrow”, he’s just simply Oliver Queen.

You did such a fantastic job on “Batman Begins”, it was the only comic movie so far that came close to following the story, why butcher this one??

I’ve been waiting for someone to make a GA movie for years now and I was very excited to hear about this until I read the plot.

GA is my all time favorite Comic Character, but I’d rather see no movie ever made then to witness such a horrid movie to be made.

God I hope DC never allows this to come to pass.
