alexp.jpgAccording to TV.com, Alex Rider: Stormbreaker star Alex Pettyfer is up for a role in The Mummy 3.

Pettyfer would play Alex O’Connell, the son of Rick and Evelyn O’Connell (Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz) in the first two films. Alex was played by Freddie Boath in The Mummy Returns. Jet Li is also cast in the movie as the villain. The Mummy 3 will take place in ancient China and will move forward to a post-World War II setting. xXx filmmaker Rob Cohen is attached to direct.

    Who is playing the son, Luke Ford or Alex Pettyfer. My choice is Alex since he fits it perfectly and more people will come to see the movie because alex is in it. I cant wait for the movie

    i think i would not enjoy watching this movie because the story will have no connection to ancient egypt and because there would be no rachel weisz anymore. i like more the first two mummy than this. i like more brendan fraser and rachel weisz to be partners than brendan fraser and maria bello. maria bello is yuk and disgusting
