The cover art for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been revealed, and it gives us some clues into the plot of the final book:

To Dylan: I can see the lightning shape scar on harry’s forehead if you look very closely you’ll see it :-) also I think I can say without a doubt that Harry has the slytherin’s locket around his neck!! I’m not sure of the name of the person who draws the US covers but she said in an interview that she always puts important things in her covers, every aspect is important.

That’s a very interesting cover.In my opinion it’s the best cover since Goblet of Fire.What I wonder the most is where they are.Harry’s like in some colliseum.I’m not sure if I spelled that right.And yes Slytherin’s locket!!!Harry looks like he’s pulling something down from the sky and Voldemort’s expression’s on his face is like he screaming “NOOooooo!!!!!!!!!!”.Has anyone seen the Deluxe Edition cover art?If you have’nt it shows Harry,Ron and Hermione on the back of a dragon that’s not Norbert.I’m divided on which one I want.

You’re right it does look like a colliseum! Also there seem to be shadows behind Harry and Voldemort … Deatheaters? As for me I did not see the deluxe edition cover art but I’m looking forward to see it! Also I found a fanfic of Harry potter and the deathly Hallows on the net. It’s pretty good even if you know it’s not the real thing and you know what, they talk about kinda colliseum when Harry and cie goes for another horcrux… weird! I can’t wait to have the book in my hands!

Here’s something very interesting.In some country’s Deathly Hallows can’t be translated.So in some country’s it has a different title.If you translate some of the titles in english the titles are,Harry Potter and the Relics of Death,Harry Potter and the Saintification of the Mortals and Harry Potter and the Isigneas of Death.Wow some very interesting titles.

To Dylan: Wow I found the picture of the Deluxe edition and it also says that there will be more pages to this edition and of course it will be more expensive but it’s worth it!!!! lol So you say that the dragon can’t be Norbert but why can’t he be? He does seem old of course maybe too old to be Norbert! But who knows… Something we do know is that this dragon can’t be Harry’s new pet lol ’cause JKR did say that a dragon could not be domesticated. For the «normal» cover art, maybe I’m going too far with my exploration of the picture but couldn’t the curtainlike thing be the veil where Sirius disappeared? Okay maybe I am trying too hard to find clues lol. Also Harry seems to be leaning on a rock so he’s certainly hurt but something is wrong…. he doesn’t have his wand!!!!! He’s certainly won’t kill Voldemort with his barehands, the deatheaters behind them (if they are the deatheaters) will try to kill Harry as soon as Voldy’s dead! Oh and for the translations, could the relics of death be another name for horcruxes? I mean the horcruxes are some kind of objects where Voldy put parts of his soul right? hmmmm I’m gettind a headache !!!

To Natacha.The publisher confirmed it was’nt Norbert.It some dragon that’s got a wierd name oh I can’ remember.Also that curtain is’nt the same curtain Sirius fell through because in OOTP the veil was very dark behind it and here it looks very bright.Man I can’t wait I hope this month goes by very quickly.

The reason that the Deluxe Edition has got more pages is because at the end they take the small pictures that’s at the beginning of each chapter and enlargen it at the end of the book.Cool huh?

Oh good question … JKR did say she got someone killed which she didn’t intend to kill before … I really don’t want Harry to die because he just found love (with Ginny) and has good friends by his side… but I first wanted him to die because he would reunite will Dumbledore, his mum and dad and siris … I’m being sentimental now… But If we look at the prophecy : «the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not… and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives…» It says that one must die at the hand of the other so could this eliminate the idea that both would die? If we take for granted that Harry is an Horcrux (marked him as an equal) than he would have to kill himself while he’s trying to kill Voldy … that almost seems impossible … and even if he asks someone to use Avada Kedavra at the same time he’s using it against Voldemort, well first of all nobody will agree to that plan and secondly well it seems almost impossible… Also do you think that the power that Harry has that Voldy don’t know about is «only» love? I kinda hoped it would be something else (like Harry) lol … but if I have to make a prediction (I’ll make a Sybill Trelawney out of myself) I’ll say hmmm Voldemort for sure or else there would be an 8th book no? I would say maybe someone like Percy Weasley (who would miss him beside Mrs Weasley?) hmmm I think that Draco will die along with his mum. For the closer ones to Harry I would say Remus (although I want him to live) and maybe Harry himself (even if I can’t and won’t believe it could happen)… So that’s my prediction!

Oh my god !!! lol It looks like Harry is trying to pull something from the sky and that Voldy is saying “STOP!!!!” Cause his hand (voldy’s) doesn’t seem to be reaching for the same thing as harry’s … wonder what could be in the sky though…. yeah same thing in prisoner of azkaban when he shields harry from remus (as a werewolf) and why would he give advise to Harry on own to win against Voldy (at the end of HBP when he says to Harry to learn how to block his mind… I’m also sure that Dumbledore knew what Draco was up to or at least that he knew Snape made an Unbreakable Vow (or something like that) and that’s why Harry saw the two of them arguing I’m sure Dumbledore said to Snape that if he had to kill him that he should do it to help Draco (his soul and everything)… I just think that he is jealous of Harry (and/or his father) and maybe he was in love with harry’s mum … so I don’t think he’s bad maybe he just doesn’t like him … I hope he’ll help Harry in the end though maybe he’ll die too!

Dumbledore is unfortunately dead J.K. confirmed it.But here’s something interesting during filming of OOTP J.K. visited the set and Dan Radcliffe said “How are thing’s going” and she replied “Dumbledore’s giving me problems” and Dan said “But he’s dead is’nt he?” and she said “Well yeah he is but it’s more complicated”.Well in the past she has said we will find out something about ghost’s and why they become one.Well what if Dumbledore is a ghost would’nt that be great?31 more days to go!!!!!!!!!

Hmm although I would like to see Dumbledore come back as a ghost to help Harry, I can’t seem to forget that in OOTP Harry asks Nearly Headless Nick why people become ghost and I think he’s the one who says that happy persons aren’t the one who come back as ghosts so I’m wondering … is Dumbledore the type of person to come back as a ghost? I’m not sure. Maybe it’s the painting of Dumbledore (that should be in the headmaster’s office at Hogwarts)… but if Hogwarts is not reopened … maybe thats what gives her some problem… or maybe if Harry asks the portrait some questions about the horcruxes maybe Dumbledore at that time (when the portrait was made) didn’t know as much as he did just before he died… its confusing … lol Oh and look at this : Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Percival is a name from old French, meaning “pierce the veil” … isn’t that interesting… And maybe Percy (Percival) Weasley is the one who’s gonna brink this sort of translation to a meaning…
Oh and I thought of something else about Snape … you of course remember Dumbledore never allowed Snape to teach DADA before HBP… well he also refused to give that job to someone else …. yes the Dark Lord himself … do you think there’s a meaning to that …. I mean why he actually let Snape teach DADA in HBP? And if there is a link between the refusal to Snape and Tom Riddle? There is a lot of speculation to be done!

Yeah Spiderman is so cool along with the X-MEN … I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan but I like the movies and I watched the tv-series on both of them. Not long ago I also found an old french comic book of Spiderman I had when I was younger …. It was at least dated around the 1980s I think and it was probably my dads’… It was pretty cool to read it again!!!
I haven’t seen the third movie yet but I can’t wait!!!! I think that Venom is the coolest badguy in Spidey!! And the graphics look awesome!!!

Hmm that was weird I posted my reply and it never appeared. Oh well I was saying I love Spiderman along with the X-MEN. I wouldn’t say I’ a huge fan but I watched the Movies (except Spidey 3) along with the TV series related to both. I found not long ago an old french comic book of Spidey I had when I was younger. Lord of the rings was a superb trilogy!!!! I have the books but I stopped reading it around the end of book 1 …. to much description … and I hate that in books, it just seem to go on and on, lol … but the movies are incredible! X-MEN is a classic lol you have to at least see the movies … and maybe going on the Marvel website digging some basic information on the serie wouldn’t hurt!! It’s really interesting and I’m sure that if you liked Spidey than you’ll have to like X-MEN lol!

Well you know when Spidey got the black suit and he eventually took it off and that black stuff got on another guy and Venom was born?Well before Spidey took the suit off he took a sample of the black stuff to be tested by Dr. Connors who turned out to be the lizard.Well after he bacame the Lizard someone got in his offic and the black stuff got on him and Carnage was born.Basically he’s a more evil version of Venom.

You know what I read on the internet about the game.Well let me start with a different game.They gave the Pirates video game 5 out of 10 and Spidey 3 game 6 out of 10.Well they released yesterday the first video game reveiw for HP OOTP and gave it 8 out of 10.I have the XBOX 360 and I can’t wait to have this game.

Here’s something to think about.If you look at the first book [us edition] you will notice that on the edges of the cover art there’s a veil.Well if you look at the Deathly Hallows [us edition] you will notice on the edges a veil once again and it looks very dramactic.It looks like the veil has beeb ripped.And the symbolic thing about this is that on the first book the veil was like the beginning of the story and now with the seventh book it’s like the closing of the story and it was bigger than ever imagined.

Yeah I know really all of the actors are good.Everyone complains about Michael Gambon as the new Dumbledore.I will say he was a little over the top in GOF but I felt he had the character down pat in POA.Richard Harris was a little too calm for the character.

I know my favorite part in POA is when Harry (Dan) and Hermione (Emma) come back after helping Sirius escape and the run into Dumbledore (Gambon) who just got out of the hospital wing and they say something like “We did it professor” and he’s like “what are you talking about” and then winks getting down the stairs ;-) !!! haha he’s funny kinda like the Dumbledore in the books. Richard Harris was a very good Dumbledore but like you said he was a little too calm, Gambon is the perfect Dumbledore in acting and Harris was the perfect Dumbledore as for his image (I don’t know if I’m clear enough lol)
The one I was disappointed about was Sirius Black. I’m not saying Gary Oldman doesn’t play the part right, it’s just that…. well in the books they say he was really handsome and all … so I know he (Oldman) is handsome but it seems as if he looks just too old (Old Man)… I don’t know lol I had another image of a Sirius Black in mind (and I must say that when I read the books I see my Sirius Black and not Oldman ;-) ) Oh and I heard some complaints about the fact that Dan Radcliffe had blue eyes and not green ones so he wasn’t fit to play Harry Potter back when the first film was out (Oh my god that was stupid) ! Dan is the perfect Harry Potter, at least that’s what I think! lol

To Dylan: Here’s a good question: who deserves best to kill Bellatrix, Harry or Neville? Harry lost Sirius, Neville lost (well sort of) is parents … I’m sure Bella won’t live throughout the seventh book … she’ll have what she deserved !!!
Also JKR already said we would see Umbridge again in book seven… I hope she suffers too, I hate her so much! Some say that she’ll become the minister of magic by interim (cause Scrimgeour will possibly be killed by Death Eathers) if she does become Minister … well let’s say the wizarding world will be in big trouble don’t you think? I mean just think she’ll do everything to make the halfbreed’s (something like that) life miserable, just think about Lupin!!!

Cause if there is other horcruxes that like the locket needed two person to be there than Harry could count on her and I’m sure she would love to help him… And remeber when Dumbledore precisely said that 2 people were required for the job … Than R.A.B might have had some help .. but who? unless the initial aren’t for just one name like we all think … Regulus Arcturus Black … maybe RAB is hmmmm Regulus And Bellatrix … haha I doubt it cause Bella is so fond of Voldy but I think that R.A.B. shouldn’t be that easy to figure out lol …

I doubt Bella had something to do with destroying one of her masters horcruxes.I think R.A.B. is a reference to Regulas Black.Because like you said it took two people to destroy a horcrux and Dumbledore said that he had already dstroyed the real horcrux and he put R.A.B. on the letter to inform him that Regulas helped him.

I was thinking the other day how like in the first book Ron seemed to play wizard’s chest alot and it came into play at the end of the book but you did’nt hear much about it later on.And how in the second book Harry could speak parseltongue and it came into play at the end and once again you heard about later on but not a whole lot.And in the third book the time-turner and you have’nt heard anything about it later on.Could it be because these thing are going to play a integral part in Deathly Hallows?29 days to go!!!!!!

Did he really say that? I thought Dumbledore never knew the horcrux (the locket) was a fake because he died :-( before he could attempt to destroy it… It’s only when Harry retrieved the locket from Dumbledore’s pocket (I think) and that he opened it that he realised that it wasn’t the real one… making the death of Dumbledore avoidable if only they knew, he would’nt have been so weak on the tower and could have defend himself… And I don’t think Dumbledore knew the locket was fake because if he knew why on earth would he have drink that green potion?
I mean I know R.A.B is Regulus… I knew it the moment I saw the initials it would explain why Voldy killed him, no? but like I said it’s almost as if it’s too easy but then when you look at all the translations of the name of Regulus you see Regulus Swarts, Regulus Musta (and the initials to the letter are R.A.S. and R.A.M.) So it’s pretty obvious that it’s him but still I wonder who helped him …

What if he didn’t have the time or didn’t know how to destroy the horcrux? If the locket Harry found at 12 Grimmauld place (the one he could’nt open) is the horcrux then maybe the reason it can’t be opened is because it is still … an horcrux… and the Horcruxes may have to be destroyed at the place it was “created” Like Harry destroyed the diary in the Chamber of secrets and maybe Dumby destroyed the ring at the House of Gaunt … or maybe not lol but if so that would mean that Harry would have to go back to the cave he went that night with Dumbledore…
Do you think we’ll see Moaning Myrtle again? She did help Harry in book 2 and 4 … but if Hogwarts isn’t reopened and that Harry doesn’t go back there for any reason then … I guess we’ll never see her again lol

I think that Mundungus sold it (the locket)and I’m pretty sure he sold it to the brother of Dumbledore, Aberforth (bartender at Hog’s Head) (you remember when Harry saw him with a bag full of Grimauld’s place stolen goods in Diagon Alley) Well At least I’m sure Aberforth will be seen again in book 7… Either it’s Aberforth who’s got it, or it’s Kreacher who stole it before they trow it away … Did you look closely at the cover of the British cover? you can clearly see a house-elf behind Harry’s back with a long sword in his hand… well Kreacher is clearly a backstabber … so…

look at this link at the bottom left of the back cover there is some sort of snake trapped in a cristal ball…. what could be the meaning of this… not sure. Do you think Nagini is a horcrux or not if she is then this could explain the picture. Also at the back cover we can assume that the castle is Hogwarts… and well it’s the full moon… maybe the final battle will be there or at least that there will be some werewolf action there? Oh and what do you think of the armor (front cover) an helmet with a dragon on top… and I don’t know about you but I think it looks like Harry and the others are being drawned into the some kinda hole behind them along with all the jewelery…

On canmag.com they are having a poll.Which will be more sucessful Harry Potter OOTP or Transformers.68% voted for HP OOTP and 32% for Transformers.So Harry’s leading but I’m surprised anybody would think Transformers would be more sucessful.Transformers may be good but not as good as HP OOTP.

As for me Transformers isn’t a big deal at all… lol Never watched the series and probably won’t see the movie either. as for the reference you make of the two snakes that Dumbledore shows to Harry in his office it could possibly be a reference to that … so maybe we’ll have further explication on why that image of the two snakes merging into one seemed so important for Dumby…

Allright I’m back.Well I’ve been reading all the Harry Potter books in preperation for Deathly Hallows.And last night I finished Prisoner of Azkaban and what I said up top about the time turner.Well I don’t see that much of it coming into play in DH because at the end of the book she handed it in to Professor Magongal.I don’t know if I spelled that right.And I also don’t thing the wizard’s chess will come into play either.But I do think parseltongue will be MAJOR in DH.

I read on snitchseeker.com that the producers were intentionally going to drop Kreacher but JK said that if they really did’nt want a mess that they should keep him in.She also said that Kreacher was a very important character in DH.

I can’t figure out why they’d kill someone who lives throught the book… It’s weird don’t you think… I mean okay they are sure to make some changes to the book in the movie but not that kind of drastic change… I watched HP&GOF this weekend (only the second time I watch it) and I must say I liked it better than the first time I saw it lol … I was laughing so much my cheeks hurt lol… When Mcgonnagall teaches them to dance .. lol Ron is one funny guy. And the thing she says (I can’t remember) when she calls them something .. baboon lol and then Fred and George try to say it as fast as they can lol … they are so funny. I can’t wait to see them in OOTP … do you think we’ll see Peeves in this one? The part when the twins get out of Hogwarts and ask Peeves to make Umbridge’s life miserable there lol … that’s my favorite part lol…

Do you sometime look at all the rumors on the net… some are just crazy (like Harry will go out with Hermione, some people just won’t face the fact…). I love checking on these rumors because they sometimes make me question some of the facts in the books. Some people have very good reasoning like those who say that Harry will go in Azkaban in book 7 (maybe to pay a little visit to Mundungus Fletcher and get the locket back from him … or just know to whom he sold it)
And some other people just don’t read right … or tend to analyse some sentences as they wish .. here is an example: “J.K. Rowling has confirmed (in an interview) that “Harry and Draco will hate each other untill they both die.” Okay, allow me to repeat this: ‘…they both die.’ DIE DIE DIE. She’s going to kill off both of them!” Humm… it could just mean they’ll hate each other for ever … come on! lol
“Piers Polkiss can speak Parseltounge (since he heard Harry talking to the snake in the zoo).” He heard him talk to the snake but I’m not sure he understood what he said. I mean in COS when Harry tells the snake Malfoy conjured to leave (I don’t remember his name) alone everyone heard him speak in some kind of langage to the snake and they knew he was talking to it, but they didn’t understand a thing he said.
But there is a rumor I think could be real… Harry being the heir of Griffindor … here are the facts:
“When he tries out his wand in Ollivanders (Book I), red and gold sparks shoot out of it. Red and gold are the colors of Gryffindor House. The clips are sooooooooo hot!!! I just love the one with the patronus… I didn’t remember Ginny’s patronus was a horse though … I love Hermione’s otter patronus lol …. the other scene I like is also in DOM when Neville’s about to jump at Bella… I can’t wait to see it !!! I hope everything will be explained about Neville’s parent so people who don’t read the books understand why Neville was so upset in GOF when Mad Eye Moody used the crucio curse against the spider.

I love the way Oldman plays Sirius in these clips!! When I saw the look on his face when Dan/Harry said “if Voldemort’s building an army then I want to fight” lol he just has the Sirius attitude doesn’t he !!!! lol

Hey I have a question maybe you could answer, about some fact in book 5 and 6…. Snape did go to Headquarters so at some point knows where it is (the location)… and in book 6 he runs away with Malfoy leaving us thinking he’s on voldy’s side … then he’s gonna say where the Order’s Headquarter is to Voldy, no?… I mean I think the secret keeper was Dumbledore … but Snape does have to know the location if he went there … it’s a bit confusing for me … Could Voldy get that information so easily? Was there a fidelius (???) charm and how does it work exactly … I mean if Snape can’t say it, they’ll use Occlumency to find out? Voldy’s gonna know either way? I really need some help figuring that out lol… Hope you can provide me with some infos! ;-)

Hey I bought OOTP wii game yesterday. It’s so cool. The graphics are amazing and you can visit Hogwarts all day lol. It’s not always easy to make the right spells. You sometime have to make your wii remote go up or down and then pull it towards you and do some circles with it (that’s the one I have the most difficulty with!!!) but I don’t regret purchasing it. I’m recruiting the DA members right now and to find them I just have to look at the Marauder’s map and then I follow the shadowing steps that bring me to the person I’m looking for lol… Very cool!

You know the scene is not in a pensieve.It’s in occlumency.Have you seen the movie reviews for OOTP?They have been very over the top positive.On rottentomatoes.com they have the critic score at 88%.Which is very high with there only been several reviews released.POA score is also 88% and GOF is 89%.But OOTP has’nt had all the reviews released.I predict the score will finish out between 90% and 93%.

I have a question, is it said in which house Peter Pettigrew was sorted in… for his cowardice I would say Slytherin but he was always with James, Sirius and Lupin which were in Gryffindor… So if he was in Gryffindor he must have some kind of courage … maybe we will see in book 7 . Hmm could be but like I said in an earlier post I doubt Dumby is the kind of person to come back as a ghost unless you can desire to become one, then maybe he would… to help Harry. Your theory is pretty good lol
