TMNT hits theaters this Friday. From what we’ve heard, it’s tracking pretty highly with kids. Jared Moshe reminds us what happened last time the Turtles made a hit movie. Check out the blast from the past below. I can’t believe it ever came to THAT.

Man, watching that, I almost feel sorry for Vanilla Ice. Almost.
Favorite moment? Master Splinter holding up a newspaper with a Ninja Rap headline. Truly awesome.

seriously though, that song was cool for the second movie, but i dont get why everyone wants it remade for a new turtles movie?? i think the new movie is so awesome and i think if they throw down some good hip hop it should totally be the beastie boys, i think they would just fit with the turtles amazingly and rock it for NYC BABY!@
