wildhogsposter2.jpgEarlier this month, I ranted on how Wild Hogs director Walt Becker was considering a sequel, and why I believed that wasn’t a good idea. Well it looks like Disney is interested. ARGH! Our friends at the Disney Enquirer have alerted us to Disney’s recent web domain puchases:

WILDHOGS2-MOVIE.COM
WILDHOGS2DVD.COM
WILDHOGSMOVIE2.COM

Wild Hogs has somehow made over $106 million domestically in it’s first 19 days of release. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the film make $20 million by months end. And the DVD sales will probably match the domestic take. How does a movie like this make that much money? I still have not met one person who was even remotely interested in seeing the film. Is it Middle America?

Please Disney, there are some movies that don’t need to be made, and a Wild Hogs sequel is one of them.

I guess you have not meet the right people . I know many , many people who wanted to see the movie and are now waiting to buy the DVD . I took 100 0f my friends on our harley’s to see it , and we all loved it. You need to get out and meet a new group of people . Good luck with that .

Wild Hoggs is plays to the segment of people who ride, know of riders, or have been around bikes for years. I’ve personal experienced several of the same pit falls as the characters (sans the funny gay cop), and I tell you I see several situations these guys can get into. Just think of the guys heading home and deciding to hit Sturgis Bike Week (If you been, you know there is a whole movie there).

I’ve personally seen it 4 times with everyone from my wife to my dad, and everytime there is something new to relate to. I cannot wait until it hits DVD, which I guess will be close to Father’s day. So bring on another sequel.. there’s enough of us RUBs (rich urban bikers) to make Disney another nice chuck of cash (can you say Wild Hogs Theme Park Ride?)

    Go Wild Hogs!

What the hell is wrong with these people, Wild Hogs was one of if not the best movies this year, just look how much money it brought in, I for one of many people i have spoken to cant wait for the DVD to come out, I will be first in line, and I will be first in line to see Wild Hogs 2

Any one know what the date for the DVD is?

I am not thinking you are exactly a laugh a minute to be around. Too bad you are so closed minded. Myself and all my friends and family have enjoyed Wild Hogs. I will definately buy the DVD and will go see Wild Hogs 2. There have been movies that I personally did not enjoy, but I don’t blame others who do. Anyway, I will watch and enjoy Wild Hogs and you can stick with Brokeback Mountain. Have a nice day and keep the rubber side down.

Well when my wife and I saw the trailer on Super bowl sunday. We both wanted to see it. We went to see it at the theater the day it came out, and there was not a seat left in the house. We loved it and went back to see it a couple weeks later. I have always wanted to ride. Wildhogs movie inspired me to get a bike and I got one by April. And I love riding now. I was counting down the days til the movie came out on dvd. I went to Walmart after midnight cause I knew they would start selling it then. And I bought it. I am surprised that I havent wore it out yet.lol Please make Wildhogs 2.

I’m a UK biker (but not a harley, too poor.)
The movie didn’t aspire to be anything more than a feelgood movie which is just how I took it and really enjoyed it for that.
I look forward to a little more of the same hopefully with the same guys.

I watch the movie every time it come’s out on cable and I have it on DVD. I ride and every time I do just thinking of the wind on my face and open road is a trip. I would like to see a part 2 and see what other things they can get into GO WILD HOGS!!!!!!

I’m a married professional with kids and enjoy road trips on my Harley with friends. I guess I can relate to the Wild Hogs with their need to get away on the open road. I just had some friends over this weekend to see Wild Hogs and begin planning a 5-day summer trip (Colorado, New Mexico, Utah). With the long Colorado winter, since we can’t ride right now, we just needed a reminder of things to come shortly. It’s just a fun movie and we look forward to the sequel.
