300

Warner Bros’ 300 has crossed the $100 million mark at the box office, it its eighth day of release. Variety is reporting that Frank Miller is also hard at work prepping a follow-up to 300 based on another mythic tale from Greek history. But good ol’ Frank won’t divulge details.

Talk of a 300 sequel isn’t anything new. Producer Mark Canton spoke briefly about the possibility last month:

“If it all works out I’m sure we’ll all be scrambling Zack [Snyder] and Frank Miller and everyone to figure out exactly ‘301?,” Canton told our friends at FirstShowing. “Where there’s a will there’s a way, honestly. And the thing about Frank, you just don’t know - he has a lot of stories he may want to tell that may be associated or not, but we just want this one to satisfy first.”

So the question now becomes: what mythic tale from greek history will Miller update?

Some readers have suggested that a sequel could be made using 10,000: The Battle of Plataea or the naval Battle of Salamis.

Whatever it may be, don’t expect it anytime soon. Miller will co-direct Sin City 2 later this year, before going it alone for the first time ever in an adaptation of Will Eisner’s The Spirit.

Miller is also busy working on the All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder comic book series for DC, as well as finishing up the 200-plus-page “Holy Terror, Batman!” graphic novel (currently set for a 2007 release).

Wow, Frank Miller doesn’t know when to stop, eh? So he’s going to butcher another bit of Greek history, myth, or legend? Hopefully that won’t happen, at least not for several years when all the furor over 300 has become a distant memory.

Onwards. To your point about “Miller i[ ] ]busy working on the All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder” series. Um, he’s not. ASBaRtBW came out exactly one time last year. It was supposed to be bi-monthly. To be fair, a lot (most) of that is due to penciller Jim Lee. Lee is notorious for taking on too much work and not meeting deadlines. Odd for a well-respected artist and head of a DC imprint, Wildstorm, but hey, welcome to the world of comic books.

As for “Holy Terror, Batman,” please for the love of everything you care about, no. But if Miller insists, I’ll be there to take apart his obvious attempt to make Batman a right wing tool. Thanks but no thanks, Mr. Miller.

I really wish people like Fydor_Fish would stop condemning 300 because it isn’t historically
accurate; it wasn’t meant to be. 300 is not a literal recouning of the events - it is an artisitic portraal of them. Of course the persians were huge and devilish, and no shit xerxes wasn’t 8 ft tall, but to the spartans these people were so foriegn that they had a distorted view of them and the movie portrays the distance between the two societies through its distortions. So please, shut the fuck up.

  3. Gravatar

Fyodor_fish what about 300 butchers history? ITS FICTION it doesn’t try to be accurate in any way. If you expected nonfiction than you should have known off the bat the movie should have been called 7000. The movie is based on his novel which is an over the top dramatazation graphic novel. By your logic sin city was crap because its fiction.

And also no one cares about your knowledge of comic books so move along.

  4. Gravatar

    @Fyodor_Fish

It’s a selfish, glorifying, and unapologetic. Exactly the way it should be.

Its a disgrace, im sure if people made a movie that was focused on demonising your country im sure you would be offended. Think about that seriously would you really like someone picking apart your history in your low points. Im sure their is many and the more popular the movie is, the more humaliating. Think about the most worst moments in your history. Let a country that you do not have strong ties with make a movie that is completely biased against you. Then let it be popular worldwide and lets see how you would say “its just a move”…..

except for the fact that the country in question has never once acknowledged Persia as existing. Only stating that they came into existance in the 6th century. 500+ years after this story would have taken place.

so for a country to complain that this tarnishes a history they don’t even deem to be theirs, until a movie becomes popular about it, as their own is just stupid.

its a movie based off of a Graphic Novel work of fiction

    =-=-=-

    now onto the good talks.

I personally hope Miller does a Graphic Novel portraying the Clash of the Titans…a good Gods vs Titans graphic novel turned movie could be all sorts of badass

I don’t know, I’ve seen some pretty great films with nazis in, and I don’t here Germans bitching and moaning. The USA gets a kicking every now and then with stuff like team america and borat. Just face it, movies don’t influence your view of a culture, that’s down to parenting, just enjoy 300 as it was meant to be enjoyed, as fun art.

  8. Gravatar

“Its a disgrace, im sure if people made a movie that was focused on demonising your country im sure you would be offended.”

As a Greek I can say it is refreshing to see a movie that does’t portray us as homosexual lunatics with bad Irish accents, and by that I am referring to Oliver Stone’s ‘Alexander The Great’ . Anyways its a movie, its entertainment. If people interpret it otherwise then they are missing the whole point of watching a movie.

  9. Gravatar

What could he possibly do it on? I mean most other historic events have already had movies done. Perhaps one of the Persian campaigns would be good - I’m not familiar with any, but perhaps one that took place in Asia where they fought with hundreds of elephants.

  10. Gravatar

And what about Troy, that one was a pretty loose interpretation of the Trojan War, but made a good movie nevertheless. 300 is pure entertainment; if I want a historically correct version I’ll just grab a book.
I’d love to see more movies regarding Greek heroes: Theseus, Perseus, Heracles? The Twelve Labors of Heracles perhaps?

  11. Gravatar

    > “What could he possibly do it on? I mean most other historic events have already had movies done.”

    You’re kidding right?

  12. Gravatar

It’s a movie, transfered to the screen in an amazingly accurate way from a graphic novel.

I know some may have historical insecurities but this movie ruled!

And about movies that offend nations.. I’ve never seen such blasphemy as Oliver “gay” Stone’s Alexander, I mean really… could such a pussy cat be such a warmaster? But leaving that behind,
this movie also sucked because it offered nothing an epic film should offer, and it lasted 3 fuckin’ hours…! But Greeks seem to know their history and don’t care what a retard like Oliver Stone thinks.

You should do the same and enjoy 300

  13. Gravatar

The Achaeans (not greeks) and the Spartans were bi, bi, bi. Get over it. Sparta especially set up pre-teen boys with men for sexual imprinting and martial training. It’s not a slam against “greeks”, because they didn’t exist yet - and Spartans would slice off your johnson if you confused them with those effeminate Athenians, anyway. They weren’t “greeks”. And yes, the Macedonians were bi, bi, bi, and Alexander had himself a boyfriend. They, all those cultures, didn’t respect women as equals, so sex with men was considered normal, a way to share your life with a social equal.

  14. Gravatar

    @ catbeller.

First let me state that I’m Greek. If you think my views are biased just stop reading now. A small history-based lesson for all you retarded people that don’t know a shit about us, and just say whatever you want.

    1. In ancient times it was almost impossible to command extremely large areas without exceptional skills. So every major town was influencing/commanding a territory around it. Greeks up to TODAY, name a person after the town he/she comes from. Even today we call a person from Sparti [the Greek name for Spart], Spartiati [Spartan] and so on. So don’t you ever say again that they weren’t Greek. We have enough problems…

    2. Ancient Greece was as bi as the modern US or any other country with relative freedom of speech. Gay people exist everywhere, it’s not my style but we are tolerant people.

    3. Yes, in ancient Greece woman were not treated as men. But they were extremely respected and they ALWAYS were(are) the BOSS of the house. Women in the modern society make less money than men, have to deal with everything in the house and raise the kids. You really think that their lives are far better than in Ancient Greece? IMPORTANT NOTE: In modern Greece women are equal to men, respected and have no fear to walk alone in the night unlike other “civilized” countries.

    4. Alexander the Great was called Macedonian because he was born and lived in Macedonia, a part of Greece. He was Greek to the bone, don’t believe the stupid propaganda you hear. If you want a history try to create it and don’t try to steal from others. Really, a person from New York, that is american by birth and origin that lives in NY and speaks english for all his life and went to NY school etc is NOT called a new yorker or something similar? Would you like to see mexicans claiming Texas from you? Or California? Or the canadians naming themselfs yankees?

And finally, why is everyone so interested with the Ancient Greeks? Why do everyone tries to change history so much? Frank Miller’s 300 was just a movie and we know our history well as a previous poster said. We judge the movie as a movie not a history documentary. But please spare us the crap…

  15. Gravatar

Shut the fuck up, you politically correct, Muslim-loving pussies.

  16. Gravatar

Y do people care about all this. All i care about is the movie and whether it is
any good. Just stop moaning people.

  17. Gravatar

it’s a hollywood movie, not a documentary! geez!

  18. Gravatar

The dude (catbelle) said that we didn’t exist and other shit. My moaning concerned his anti-greek ways of writing.

As for the movie as I said before, it’s not a documentary, and to my mind it was above average, Frank Miller customized the history to suit his comic-writing needs which is fine by me.

    Cheers from Greece

  19. Gravatar

Ade gamithite. Fuck all your negative bullshit. This movie was an artistic masterpiece; anyone who says otherwise, missed the goddamn point. It’s a fucking movie. Shut up already.

  20. Gravatar

this film had a very negative impact on our more than 10000 years of history .
how can xerexes be a black 8 foot bloodthursty monster while his father darius was an arian white man? there were no slaves in any (from past to modern) persian empire.
it was based on herodus *hit and rubish fiction history. i give zero credit to herodus. even if they had machineguns whit nightvision and chemical weapons they coudnt kill so many!*uck you hollywood .

  22. Gravatar

I agree with Ade, this was a brilliantly made movie and thats it. its not meant to be historicly accurate, it is only a movie based on a comic. I being half German took no offence to any movies made about Nazis, and that is a real part of our history albiet not a proud bit of it at all. as for ” go home’s ” comment about Canadians calling ourselves yankes, we would never, ever do it.

  23. Gravatar

We didn’t complain about Braveheart in England. In fact everyone I know loves that film. And its probably no less accurate than 300.

  24. Gravatar

I’m Persian, and it makes me sick how all these clown persians are getting so offended over a history they barely know. It’s a god damn movie, we all know it’s not real, and historically incorrect.

It was a damn good movie though, I enjoyed the graphics, I didn’t care who was fighting who it was just an interesting story. Just pretend we don’t have any sort of history with the greeks and don’t get offended when you see a bunch of mexicans dressed up like arabs that are suppose to be persians, getting killed by a bunch of buff white dudes. IT IS JUST A MOVIE, AND ON BEHALF OF US PERSIANS THAT TOOK IT AS A MOVIE SHUT THE FUCK UP TO THE REST OF YOU BITCHING PERSIANS, and stop getting political like Iran is a good country or something remember most of us escaped that shit hole

  25. Gravatar

and to any of you supporters of the islamic republic
    Iran Gaeedam
    Khomeini Gaeedam
    Khamenei Gaeedam
    Shiah Gaeedam
    Islam Gaeedam

FUCK OFF, especially to the punks living in the west raising persian flags. Bitch ass persians raising a flag of a country they escaped pfffffft

  26. Gravatar

i’ve recently wacthed the movie and was very dissapointed i understand that its wasnt goping to be historically correct buit how far can hollywood strecth the truth. it was a joke esspecailly how the spartans made this great deal about kneeling and becoming slaves when 90% of their population was helos slaves and how they fought with honor 20 yrs later they defeated athens(the city-state responsible for defeating the persians) with money they recieved from persians. this movie glorified the shit out of a mediocre city-state, spartus. so before u motherfuckers try give a history lesson get ur notes straight

  27. Gravatar

wtf,how is 300 NOT historical, its true 300 Spartans went to go off to fight the Persian army, in wich, they killed 20,000 persians before they died..read up on your Greek history, cya guys XD!!

  28. Gravatar

Sparta was under no rule of “helos” …they were under the Greek Empire with atehns as well, ect, they were the best warriors….Sparta was the only city to have a Full-Time army, get a history lesson XD

  29. Gravatar

300’s sales speak for itself. Once the hype is over so will the talk of a sequel. I’ve been drooling over ‘holy terror batman’ since 2005, I hope the release date is accurate, which I doubt it is. I’m one of the few who want miller back at the drawing board and away from a camera, that is if the camera keeps him away from the drawing board, which it has been since sin city. Long live miller, writer, artist, director, whatever the hell he is these days.

  30. Gravatar

i kno this is irrelevant but…wasn’t Kratos from G.O.W. a spartan? and if he was why dont they make movie bout him? he can kill mad shit all by himself…i digress. yeah but ive yet to see the movie but every time i see the trailer i gets the chills…i kno its a great piece of art like everyones been sayin…and i only saw parts of sin city but also look good too…sometimes ya just gotta stick wit ur imagination and forget about all them reviews and shit…cause sometimes these critics dont kno wtf they talkin bout.

  31. Gravatar

I really enjoyed 300 and I’ m looking forward to a sequel, based on a related historic issue. As a Greek I felt really proud watching 300, because it reminded me that Spartans, Athenians, Macedonians and all GREEK people have shown all the world through bloody and glorious pages of history that the fight for freedom and democracy is in our DNA. Though, I have to comment that the presence of Xerxis in the film was a little “distorted”, but OK this is Hollywood… As for Persians, Iranian people of today, they also have to fight for their right for freedom against today’s evil forces…

  32. Gravatar

Well said ptolemaios, the themes of the story transcend nationality. The intention is that we can ALL think about situations in life where we have to show courage against overwhelming adversity.

  33. Gravatar

wow, now thats deep. nw i really wanna see this movie yo. props to the both of u.

  34. Gravatar

Catbeller, it is not the reference to gay activities in Ancient Hellas that bothered me in Oliver
“sodomised” Stone’s movie. It was mostly the personality of Alexander that was conceived from today’s every day gay teens. The whole “metrosexual” persona. This was not the culture back then. Alexander was not a pussy cat, seeking latino lovers.

Let me give you an example. If someone was to make (yet another) film about the last days of dinosaurs on earth. How would you like it if it was 3 hours long and for half of it you were told about how nasty mr Dino-Alex was with his friends and how gay he was and how he hated women? Is this really the point? Don’t you realise that Oliver “Butthole” Stone is just gay with obvious insecurities? It’s a blasphemy to express them on a movie featuring one of our heroes.

  35. Gravatar

So you see that Frank Miller’s movie gets RIGHT to the point. And that is amazing about it.

  36. Gravatar

when it comes down 2 it lets focus on other projects frank miller has done, fuck 300 lets concentrate on originality. bring forth the dark Knight and sin city “fuckin”2…. I dont know about anyone else but 300 dont ring my feckin bells

  37. Gravatar

    And now some satire…

    Quoting that asshole:
“The Achaeans (not greeks) and the Spartans were bi, bi, bi.”

Wikipedia: The Achaeans (in Greek Ἀχαιοί, Akhaioi) is one of the collective names used for the Greeks in Homer’s Iliad (used 598 times) and Odyssey

Asshole: “Get over it. Sparta especially set up pre-teen boys with men for sexual imprinting and martial training. It’s not a slam against “greeks”, because they didn’t exist yet”

Wikipedia: The recorded history of Sparta began with the Dorian invasions, when the Peloponnesus was settled by Greek tribes coming from Asia Minor via the northeast, submitting or displacing the older Achaean Greek inhabitants. (…) In the 5th century BC, Sparta and Athens were reluctant allies against the Persians, but after the foreign threat was over, they soon became rivals. (….) The earliest civilization to appear around Greece was the Minoan civilization in Crete, which lasted approximately from 2700 (Early Minoan) BC to 1450 BC, and on the Early Helladic period on the Greek mainland from ca. 2800 BC to 2100 BC.

Asshole: “They, all those cultures, didn’t respect women as equals, so sex with men was considered normal, a way to share your life with a social equal.”

Wikipedia: Spartan women enjoyed a status, power and respect that was unknown in the rest of the classical world. They controlled their own properties, as well as the properties of male relatives who were away with the army. It is estimated that women were the sole owners of at least 40% of all land and property in Sparta.[11] The laws regarding a divorce were the same for both men and women. Spartan women received as much education as men, as well as a substantial amount of physical education and gymnastic training.

why do i care for your ignorance..

  38. Gravatar

    300 is a bad film

  39. Gravatar

Hey everyone listen up! WTF all of you saying about this movie being inaccurate? Ofcourse it’s not, did the makers of this movie said “This movie is based on true
historical events”? No! They just said this is an adaptation of a novel. So
don’t go here saying that the movie is not true because IT’S NOT MEANT TO
BE HISTORICALLY TRUE! Lol is this the first movie that you saw in your entire life?

  40. Gravatar

to all of you who say this moveie wasn’t historically acurate…you’re very wrong; my Eastern Civilization teacher watched it and said it was about 90% acurate.
    so shut ya face…
    SHUT IT
    shut ya face
stop trying to diss the movie its a good friggin movie!

  41. Gravatar

my god i almost fell alseep reading all this
    1. yes it is a movie, and it is a revolutionary movie seeings what over 90% of the movie was computer generate, only the main characters and horses were not.
    2. It is and Isn’t historically accurate, so what, ive studied Greek history, along with many other ancient histories and of course 300 spartans didnt try to fight the persian army, yet a force of spartans did stand up to the persian army, in an attenpt to egt the greeks to rise up and fight, which eventually they did so the spartans sucsseded.
so all you out there bitching about this movie shit the fuck up, watch it, if you dont liek it go cry at home, not out in the big wide world were nobdy cares

  42. Gravatar

It’s a movie people…and no one cares about who knows what or if its not accurately true…its a movie calm down if you don’t like it then don’t bitch about it…and if you do then fine but stop with verbal wars

  43. Gravatar

I’m an Iranian/Persian. first of all i KNOW that it’s just a movie is not historically accurate! i’m not saying that this movie is wrong because the iranians were defeated in it .what i’m saying is that the image that was shown in it which represented iranians was 100% false and offending. yeah you might say so what it’s just a movie but the problem is that we were not that way and these days people get more info from movies rather than anything else.most of americans and others won’t go and try to find the truth about this in an accurate book or … they’ll just accept what they’ve seen in this movie and will have a negative image of iranians in their mind!and when this guy makes a movie that shows iranians nearly as animals i get offended by it! if i would make a movie about jews killing christian who are shown as gay american natives being slaves of abraham lincoln be sure that many people would be offended and do the same thing that we’re doing! why? because it’s simply not the truth! if i made such a movie would you( as a jew or german or …) agree with me if i say it’s just a movie to entertain people and it’s not accurately true? be sure that you would be offended and you would do what i’m trying to do now! so that’s what we’re trying to say! yes there was a war and the iranian were defeated but persian were not even close to what they were shown as! and if you ask anyone who has a little knowledge about that ages history be sure that they will say the same! the persian empire in that age was one of the greatest empire of all time!

  44. Gravatar

    Hi ,

What a fuss about a movie.

All those offended by the portrayal of Persians go stab Miller.

What can one do other than complain. A group of 300 people standing against 20,000 Persians is a matter of heroism. It was very inspiring for me to watch a real hero( who cares about the graphics) .Let us not put down their sacrifices. Would you watch the movie if it were a documentory.

You are putting politcs into it to vent out ur frustration. Life is simple dont make it so complicated by analysing a good movie to this freaking extent.Be tolerent . I do not want to mention my nationality because it would start a whole lot of controversy but we too have been rediculed in lot of holly wood movies but we have not taken it seriously a comedy or drama is always an exagerrated version of reality .Today people think differently about us because as a country we have made so much of improvements. After the movie I got another hero to be inspired from who cares about where the person comes from. Please do not be so sensitive about situations. If your action can bring hope to those millions of deprived people then do it else please shut up and lock your opinions in the deepest part of the ocean

    …………………….till then

  45. Gravatar

its only a movie, yet it’s a stupid movie..

    as for the hero in this movie;
my granny could also hold a sword while an army runs right into it

I’d rather see historical hero’s portrayed honestly and not with a lot of make believe bullshit, and cheap catchy narration - the 1962 version was much more of a strong story than this PS3 game will ever be.

no message, zero reality and a lot of cocky shaved men ..

    lol

    miller knows how you like’m

Watched as a comedy, 300 is not bad, but they should have put in more funny scenes. I won’t spoil anything, but we were all cracking up when the mutant ninjas appeared. It’s as if the film makers were so scared that all the half-naked men might give the audience the wrong idea about the Spartans, that they turned the Hetero up to 11. At first I was offended, but the homo/xenophobia is so over-the-top, it becomes absurdly funny.

Things I learned from the movie:

    1) Spartans are kind of like football players except that they all shave their chests and don’t wear shirts.

    2) If anyone is effeminate, nonwhite, a lesbian, or physically unattractive, they are an enemy of freedom or a slave.

    3) Wearing underwear is only for evil people like hunchbacks and God-kings. The army of freedom goes commando.

    4) Throwing your only weapon is a good battle strategy, as is slowing time and teleporting from one location to another. (I knew this from other funny action movies though)

    5) The aesthetic style of perfume and car commercials from the early 90’s is the new cutting edge of cinematography.

    6) Rhinos and elephants are easy to ship, easy to train, and easy to kill.

    7) Spartan cloaks never get dirty unless you are returning from a son-avenging murderous rampage. The cloaks can also summon wind if the wearer utters a corny line.

    8) “Well-written action movie” (or video game or comic book) still means laugh-out-loud cheesiness during every dramatic scene.

So, while it doesn’t quite top The Mummy Returns for unintentionally hilarious nonsensical action, it’s a close second. I predict that this movie will score well with male gamers, adolescent boys, and ultra conservative patriarchs. I know it was based on a comic, but really, it’s like an allegory for the War on Terror written by a confused twelve year old. If you’re looking for quality even on par with the mediocre Gladiator, keep looking.

P.S. Make sure you watch the credit roll for the multiple evil transsexual Asian roles (I thought transsexual Asian #3 did an excellent job).

  46. Gravatar

    sweet movie….not that much violence

  47. Gravatar

Why doesnt he make a movie about the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta? where Sparta only one the war because of help from Persia. Or would that make his whole western nazi childhood dreams fall apart. talented artist but unfortunatly a close minded like many others. 300 had nothing for it but pretty visual effects. Bad dialouge, bad script, bad acting and a fake story. Only great movies should have sequals.

  48. Gravatar

its “sequels” dumbfuck…and only great spellers should be able to comment on a fantastic movie whether it was politically correct or not

  49. Gravatar

I want to see him do the battle of Rhodes. 600 Knights from the Order of St John, versus 70,000 Turks. And they actually defeated the Turks! 40 years later, the Turks returned with 200,000 men and were deveated again, although the Knights retreated to Malta. Some years later, the Turks again tried to defeat the Knights on Malta, but were again defeated to the uttermost.

  50. Gravatar

Okay, let me first say that 300 is one of my favorite movies, and it never pretended to be historically accurate.

Then let me say that the events of that time are distorted by the nationality of the historian, just like every other event. Reality is a matter of perception and opinion.

I think that the idea of 300 men, no matter how well trained, well armed, and strategically well placed, against 200,000 and upwards Persians sounds a little one sided. But we know that the average Persian soldier’s training was far less adequate than a Spartan soldiers. We know that an average Persian’s armor was thick cotton and a shield of woven sticks. That armor, in comparison to the Spartan’s bronze shields, helmets, breast plates, shin guards, etc. is pathetic, but to giving that sort of protection to more than 1 million soldiers would be impossible in those days. With that, Spartan’s claiming victory over a larger Persian foe makes sense. But if you want an undistorted view of that battle, you have to have been there.

It may sound fantastical. It may sound fictional. But 300 soldiers may have overcome an army 100 times their own size. Amazing things do happen.

In conclusion, I’m not trying to glorify Sparta. They thought democracy was mob rule. Killing and war was their only idea of time well spent. They placed everyday tasks in the hands of 2 million slaves, who they terrorized every day as a method of training. But if the Persians had succeeded in overtaking Europe…how different would the world we live in be, for the worse?

  51. Gravatar

Point of clarification: In the second paragraph, I said that reality is a matter of perception and opinion. I meant history, not reality.

  52. Gravatar

U guys r a bunch of geeks. Screw Greek history. This was the best action movie i have ever seen, and Frank Miller did an amazing job. I hope he does another one, and it really doesn’t matter if it’s accurate or not. IT”S A MOVIE!

  53. Gravatar

i agree with that sean kid

  54. Gravatar

I’m all for another “300″ type film, but where can they go next with it?
So, here is just a rough idea of many: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Stirling_Bridge.

  55. Gravatar

300 was one of the best movies i’ve ever seen, the historical accuracy does not matter at all, this is Hollywood.

123, I might make spelling errors because I type fast but at least I don’t make childish insults when I cant come up with a valid argument. No that said, go suck on it!!! cuz those are the only words you have in your vocabulary.

For everyone else that keeps stating this is just a movie, why do you people get so upset when someone criticizes this movie? It was a poorly made movie for many reasons. Get over it please.

    listen,
Did you know that in the historically derived depiction of this war that the number of men was incorrect.
Persia battled through Greece Killing and destroying many, than there was the final stand of the spartans who were defeated, and withdrew.
Persia tried to finish the rest of greece of via there convoy of boats, however they failed due to a storm.
so suck on that for some history. You fucking hillbillies
yo Greeks were delusional just like modern day America.

300 was the best dam movie ever made and I did read up on the history of the Spartans and it may not be as accurate but pretty dam close to the mark.. Why defend the Persians, they were invading a country and come a gutser. And rightly so! There should be more warrior like Spartans in the world. To sort out these so call do gooders that think the Persians and all these other halfwit countries are so wonderful..And the Spartans did what they were trained to do Kill the stinking enemies that dares to Invade and enslave a country.. Whooraa Whooraa!!
