I was just wondering, jigsaw only became what he is now because of when jill lost there unborn son, and straight after that we saw what he did with cecil who was responsible for his unborn childs death, so does this mean that cecil was the first person he killed rather than the people in saw1???

Hi everyone, let me just say that I looooovvvve the Saw movies!!!!!!! My fiance and I watch 1-4 at least once a month and we have a few ideas.

1. I believe that Jill has a lot more to do with the series than we think. I believe that it will be showed that Jigsaw/John will leave a will to Jill *Notice in the new Saw 5 trailers there is a video recording that seems to be playing in a lawyers office.

2. I think that for Jigsaw to be that upset with Jill something else must have occurred, I think she may have had an affair with Art in which that may be a reason why they were coming into the warehouse together. And Jigsaw was so upset with Art. Therefore putting him in a trap.
2. I believe that Lynn is pregnant throughout Saw 3.
*Notice how she is wearing a shirt that is too big for her.
She has what I think is a baby bump.
When she is dieing at the end she was holding her stomach. That is also where she was shot.
Jeff puts his hand to her stomach and right after that Jigsaw says killing me will not bring back your son. Perhaps he met the son that she was carrying and not the son that had already died.
Not to mention there are plenty of references to her belly.

i just cant wait until the 5th installment, so many questions need answering and i like jasons idea that doctor gordon might be making an appearance as one of jigsaws assistants, it does make a great amount of sense, the key surgically implanted behind the eye, the rods inserted in such a way they are lethal to one person but effectively harmless to the other, the amount of medical equipment and the hospital table in the warehouse, and the main factor, we never found out if he died! It all fits together. Waiting to find out if we'll see Doctor Gordon again is one thing i am truly looking forward to in the next 2 installments!

I wasn't referring to Detective Hoffman, I was referring to the man Lynn was with in the very beginning, before she went to the hospital.

I was confused with the whole teddy bear thing a while back but then I figured it out. But thank you though.

Also, Hoffman isnt Cobrett's father. The teddy bear Hoffman gives her while she is being placed in her "trap" is one from Jeffs home. If Hoffman is somehow related to this girl, there isnt any evidence of it this far into the series.

hey Jason, this is kind of confusing and its meant to be while you are watching saw 3. The conversation between Lynn and the guy she is having an affair with is like this (short version) "what do you want from me?"-"a divorce". At first this leads the audiance to believe they are married. Later in the film when it is revealed that Lynn and Jeff are married, it can only mean that at that point in the movie the man was asking Lynn to divorce Jeff so they could be together without having to sneak around. Ive never discussed that point with anyone but im pretty sure im correct.

I was just wondering one thing, and it is from Saw 3.

Lynn Denlon was with a man whom was not her husband, Jeff Reinhart, and we later find out that she was cheating on Jeff; possibly due to the loss of their son, she didn't want to be connected with her daughter just in case more pain occured.

But the man Lynn was with said that he wanted a divorce, but Jeff was her husband. I was so confused? Did she marry someone else while she was with Jeff, because that man was not Jeff.

The plot details have not yet been revealed, although in an interview with IGN, Patrick Melton revealed that Saw V will explain what happened to Corbett, the daughter of Lynn Denlon and Jeff Reinhart, following the conclusion of Saw III that left her in danger.[7] An interview with Tobin Bell revealed that the origins of Billy the puppet and his red tricycle would be further explained after having the story's roots planted in Saw IV.[8] Also, in an interview on June 13, 2007, Tobin Bell teased that he would not be surprised if the character of Cecil made a reappearance, and that the pieces of flesh taken from the victims in the form of a jigsaw puzzle might be explained.[9]

According to director David Hackl, one trap can potentially kill the actor meant to be placed in it, and so paramedics will be standing by while filming; Hackl joked that the trap would truly test the actor, just like Jigsaw tests his victims.[10]

In the Saw IV DVD commentary, Darren Lynn Bousman stated that the glass box trap,[11] which was originally planned to be used in Saw IV, will be further explored in Saw V.[12] The glass trap was only shown, not used, in the final cut of Saw IV.

Lionsgate recently released a brief plot synopsis for Saw V that "Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends."[13]

According an interview with IGN, Julie Benz said that the character of Brit is a real-estate developer and that the character is corporate like a thorough-bred race-horse. She also revealed that this is the first film about which she ever had a nightmare.[16]

when they were doin an autopsy on jigsaw at the beginnin of the movie to find the tape in his stomach. Than how was he seen towards the end of the movie where he was left in the bed when he got his neck sliced.

I just think it's cool how you are made to think that the tape in Jigsaw's stomach is what starts Saw 4. When in fact it is what will inevitably start Saw 5.

i don't think dr.gordan is alive because we find out in saw 4 that that detective matthew's has already been missing for 6 months and he was in that bathroom at the end of saw 2, so how long was it between saw1 and saw4??? also i think people are right about maybe corbett(little girl in room) might actually be hoffmans daughter. good thinking whoever came up with that. i think detective strauss is also still alive and i'm sure we will be seeing him in saw5 for definate. also with jigsaw now dead i think that saw 5 and 6 will be based on passed events and unanswered questions, i mean let's be honest...WHO THE HELL CAN REPLACE JOHN/JIGSAW???? nobody can!!!

So I can hardly wait until Saw 5 commes out. Seeing it on the big screen will once again be the best way to watch it for the first time"! Once in awhile I watch all the DVD's (1-4). There's so much to follow and I bet so much to look forward to.

Umm. about Corbet and the deleted scene, i didnt see that one. and in interviews with tobin bell and i think the director they hint that she will be in the next movie along with billy the puppet. I just really hope that she gets found or you find more about her. The fisrt thing i said when i seen that she was locked away was like OMG! in the one where people think they see dr. gordon's corpse is like his foot. and it the 2nd one where the people went into the wrong traps , mabye we will find out more about that and that guy's son who was found in the safe? i really got to watch theses movies in order this time and at the same time. Your opinion of Dr. Gordon, Wayne and Josh, is a legit opinion of being farfetched for Dr. Gordon being the next Jigsaw. But the only wrong thing with that is that no one on here posed or posted even once that Dr. Gordon would be the next jigsaw. And I have seen true cases on television and in news articles where people have had more blood loss than the character Dr. Gordon and lived to be a healthy age until 70 from the age of 30. And, again, we do not have the faintest ideas of what the writers of the Saw series think about.

well me and my friend believe that the possibilty of doctor gordan being the new jigsaw is quite far fetched. for one the ammount of blood he lost he should die not even john could have saved him cuz he didnt have any medical equipment with him. lawrence only had like maybe minutes left to live. Also in the 4 one before hoffman played the tape he pulled out another one out of his recorder. this could possibly be the tape explaining his test.

The little girl's name is Corbett. At the end of Saw IV in a deleted scene, Hoffman carried her out of the Gideon Meat Packing Company. Ultimatly, when the cops were called earlier, they arrive, taking the little girl to "safety" and Hoffman walked away a hero.

In the first saw......the guy the cops saved from the drill press is still alive as far as we know right?????????

Does anyone know what happend to the little girl that was in saw 3 did she die in that room or is that just one of the many holes that liongate has left to make us add our own plot.

i was completly confused at the end of the newest movies saw 4 who is the new jiggsaw and why is he imprtant in any way what so ever can any one help me and i agree no one knows what happend to dr. gordon so maybe he was taken under his wing and will reapear in the next say movie or evn a nother that is being talked about.

Add to that there is another mystery that has yet to be solved. Now I personally looked into this and know it to be a fact, in Saw 2 Xavior goes for a tape that is mean for Obi. He takes a knife which the tape is on out of a figure of a person, now this person is in fact human; a dead human. It appears to be a dummy which in fact it is, only for the movie purpose, but in the movie it is a dead human. Who is this dead human? We have yet to know, and we can also tell by the skin, that is not fake skin although the body is fake; torso I mean. Any thoughts.

Very true. Even though Dr. Gordon failed his test, I do still believe that, like you said, he took him under his wing. People keep saying that Jigsaw was brains, and this is true, but I highly doubt he initially knew how to put the key in Michael's eye. I believe his name was Michael, correct me if I am wrong.

Jigsaw's corpse had stubble because your hair and nails never stop growing. even after you're dead. --- And yes, Dr. Gordon did fail his test, however, he took the "initiative" and sawed off his foot. Maybe John saw this and decided to take him under his wing...? :) At the same time, Adam passed his test. He was supposed to stay alive. That's why John told him where the key was. It's Amanda's fault that he couldn't get out of there cause she just threw the key on him...

Okay, I just realized that Dr. Gordon did in fact fail his test. He for one didn't kill Adam, that was Amanda, and for two he shot Adam after the clock struck 6:00. Everyone does have to admit that these movies do strike up quite a conversation.

I beg to differ... John wouldn't have Amanda kill Adam because he despises murderers... Amanda killed Adam because she was having nightmares about him. Remember, Amanda told him that she was going to "help" him before she did it... Mentally, she couldn't deal with the fact that he was left for dead. Jigsaw did tell Lawrence: "if you do not kill Adam by six, then Allison and Diana will die, Dr. Gordon... and i'll leave you in this room to rot." One would assume that he would do the same for Adam. Jigsaw had no intention of actually killing Adam, save for Dr. Gordon's game...

There is a strong possiblity that Dr. Lawrence Gordon is still alive. I am assuming that either Hoffman or John told Amanda to kill Adam, because as you saw in Saw 3; she didn't want to do it. In fact I think she sort of had a crush on Adam, or she could have related to him. Another possiblity in this series is that Jill did in fact have a son. When Strahm was interrigating Jill he said something about was the building John and Arty owned named after her son? Well quite obviously she had a son, but where he is, we don't know. We do know that his name is Gideon Tuck though, obviously he didn't take his father's name. We also know that Hoffman is not John's son, he is far too old. The time span is that a year ago, the bathroom incident took place, five months before that John tried to kill himself, a month before that John lost his son. Use common sense people, not common knowledge; and there is a difference.

True enough that Strauhm could play the tape intended for Jeff about the locked away daughter, but the question is what game would strauhm have to play in order to save this girl, IF that is the case. thats a big IF in my mind. im guessing the fate of this girl will be revealed in some other way.

First off its the directors cut...more scenes were added and some were never shown..

And in the special features it shows a little bit of what happens in saw 5....A little bit about what hoffman does at the end/beginning of 5.

Det. strahm was left alive in the room with jigsaw, amanda, jeff, and lynn......AND the tape that was left for jeff, telling him about his daughter. Did he find the tape and listen to it?

getting jigsaw FROM the room that he died in TO THE MORGUE should be a HUUUUGE factor in the next movie.....answering that will answer the question of how involved det. hoffman is in becoming the next jigsaw.

i love saw movies they r gross and ausume.i love number 4 the best,expecialy when jigsaw gets his otopsy,that was hard to watch wen they opened up his stomach,and at the beggining wen the guys mouh is stitched shut and the other guys eyes at stitched shut

k everyone idk if this is true or not but on youtube if u search saw 5 script click on the first one and click the links on the side cuz it has the first 4 pages of saw 5. like i said idk if this is legitimate script but its quite good cuz supposedly in it amanda is actually still alive.

Think about it, did you see how much hair jigsaw's corpse had at the autopsy?? That means that he seriously had 2 be dead for a minute... (hair still grows when you're dead) I think it's very likely that the autopsy scene is towards the end of V, or the beginning of VI... The whole "last man standing" bit for sure implies some other sort of game, other than the one played in IV. Remember, it seems like the whole Saw series for the most part was about finding who would carry on Jigsaw's work.... (Rigg's game (save as I save), Amanda's game, etc.) It seems like everything has pretty much come down to jigsaw's MAJOR game.... Finding the last piece to his puzzle... (whoever will carry on his work)
