Tobey Maguire may have lost interest in playing Spidey, but that doesn’t mean the end for Spider-Man.
“This story has been going on a long time and it will continue going,” says Spider-Man 3 producer Avi Arad. “There’s some issues that will come not to an end but to a conclusion, but Peter Parker’s story will continue forward. He’s still young. The love story will always be the ruling thing in his life. It’s always about the girl so, no, it’s just number three.”
Maguire told press this week:
“To me it seems like this is a natural point for the team to break up because we have a lot of story conclusions that were going along for the main characters for the first two movies and we kind of tie almost everything up for the third movie.”
Kirsten Dunst has said that she would only return if series director Sam Raimi returns. But either way, the story will go on with or without the stars. On Spider-Man 2, Tobey Maguire’s participation was in doubt at one point because he was suffering severe back pains. Jake Gyllenhaal, was lined up to play Spider-Man and had already begun preparation, but Maguire decided to take part after all. So actor replacements are VERY possible.

Not sure about Carnage and Venom, but I’ve heard that Dr. Conners might be making his debut as the Lizard. Don’t know for sure, but it’s definitely an appealing idea, given that his character is already established in the movies thus far.

I love Spiderman and I think at the beginning of the movie Dr Connors transforms into the lizard and thats the end for the lizard one fight at the beginning at its end for him. Then Eddie becomes Venom again and soon followed by Cletus Kasady transformation into Carnage. Spiderman gets into fights with the pair who also fights with each other not getting along. This would make a kick ass Spiderman 4 movie. And at the end Spider-Carnage comes along only to be continued for Spiderman 5.

Spiderman 3 is harry as the goblin, sandman and venom…..harry eddie and venom die and sandman retires from crime forever (I read the novel)…….spiderman 4 will be the lizard and kraven the hunter and possibly a smaller villan like shocker or scorpion……I know this because when the spiderman 3 toys came out they did all the main characters and added the lizard and kraven and rhino…..so I’m thinking that will be the three villans in the next one since connors next step after his involvment in 3 and kraven the hunter is logical because he hunts abnormal things like a huge fucking lizard…..and rhino??? Another thing for kraven to hunt and he would be a good villan because spiderman will be trying to help connors become normal….and trying to stop kraven from killing connors because he’s peters favorite teacher and friend…..so rhino would be a good filler villan to be disbatched early on before the story is fully developed…..okay give me ur thoughts on this people…..this I can almost gaurantee is going to be spiderman 4….all the other villans have been killed off….I doubt they will include carnage in any of the movies in the near future because of hiis murderous personality for blood and such it wouldn’t make sense bc they will loose and audience of the 10 year olds who’s parents won’t let them see a bloody movie…..so there’s ur 4 and my guess is that 5 will be a reincarnation of harry or norman osborne for the hobgoblin and hopefully the return of venom and he will remain a staple of the spiderman films to the end and it will end up like the comic books where spidey and venom are not friends but not completly enemies…..there u have it folks the whole spiderman movie series laid out for u…..I just saved u a lot of stress of thinking and staying up all night wondering what will be next for our friendly neighborhood web slinger…..so signing off Eddie Brock Junior….HAHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaa!!!!!

we shod hav carnage and venom im spiderman 4 , however we shod first have spiderman and venom fight and spiderman defeats him. at the end of tht fight venom trys to have revenge on spidey, however he trys but creates carnage, carnage wants to kill both venom and spiderman because they creatd him. so a team of venom and spidey is born. at the end of the film we shod have scarlet spider appear and followd by a mysterious character with claws like………. the jackal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spiderman 5 shod have the “clone saga” series in it. so scarlet spider, the jackel and spider carnage in it, the whole clone against spidey but then they work 2gether to deffeat the jackal and spidercarnage.
At the end we shod have a sudden appearence of Doctor Octupus, GreenGoblin, New Goblin and many new villians - the Lizard, Sandman and electro. The sinister 6 is born.

Well correction spiderman 6, shod be the secret wars saga, new character BLACKCAT shod be introduced. The fantastic 4 shod also guest star in this film, the beyonder will be introduced, however many other MARVEL comics villians and heros shod be introduced. as in the comics. however if that cannot be done, create evil spiderman clones created by the jackal will be the villians, the blackcat
can help spidey defeat them. this new character dynamic will create a new love interest of spideys. but the beyonder shod be the main villian in this film unlike in the comics.

eddie brock jr. is correct everyone I have a valid that has also read that spoiler or novel w.e yes at the of sp3 it becomes a 2 on 2 battle new globin & spider man vs. venom & sandman…………….contuning venom somehow is about to kill peter, harry gets in the way thus bringing his death……….the symbiote kills eddie brock by eating him alive leaving just bones sumhow…….sandman was originally not villian meerly a guy who went into crime to help out his family then his genes get genetically altered then at end peter blastes with water taking sandmans powers away and he goes back to his family…..(since the symbiote killed Brock that would give the writers for future spiderman movie to make a story on sum how the symbiote made its way to prison thus joinin cletus kasady
then becoming carnage)

first of all his name is cletus kasady. venom is only in the end of spidey 3.he
dies.(i know it sucks) Venom has a weakness to loud sounds. like 200

has no one thought of chamelion as being a sinister Kingpin-type character in sp4? look,
obviously there not gnna use wolverine or daredevil, so just get that out of yr head, and they couldnt use kingpin bc he was in daredevil. Also,Kraven the hunter is gay, maybe its jst me, i hate ‘im. They also wouldnt do the lasher,scream,riot,toxin,agony,and when they die hybrid combination bc its just too much. Carnage does have some possibility due to the
introduction of venom, (sorry, i forget hoo this was) brought up a good point about Carnage
being too violent for kids. I’m just throwing this idea out there, feel free to shoot it down,
maybe Hobgoblin is like–norman or harry(preferably norman) resurrected, and since
theyre dead, that would give good reason for the face to be deformed like in the comics.
The costume would be the original movie goblin suit, no mask, the and the suit would be
really dirty. The green paint would be worn down, and look mor bluish. And he would have
tattered brown-orange robes. NO? YES? If not the living dead thing, at least that would be the costume.

still, any symbiote that isnt venom or carnage would be confusing to the people that only
have basic knowlege of spiderman. im a film maker, and you have to think about the
ENTIRE audience when making a movie like this, what to them might seem like a
new character could be precieved as stupid without the opinion of a wide audience. And obviously if the character doesnt have a wide audiencce already, then its not very popular,
and the movie won’t do very well. As a fan like you are that may not matter to you, but there
are the peple out there who are looking for a good cinematic expirience and not just
superkiller alien goo.

I TOTALLY agree w/ Richard. I will NEVER watch another Spider-Man Movie
If Tobey Maguire Drops out of the film. He’s the ONLY person fit to play
the role of Peter Parker. It would KILL America’s greatest super Hero, and

I think a very plausable senario for spidey 4 would be having Dr. Connors turn into the lizard trying to help peter defeat venom, i haven’t seen 3 yet so this is a guess but in the trailers you see Dr. Connors, what looks like, introduce the venom substance to peter. He may feel some responsiblility to venom and screw up in an experiment trying to help peter with venom and turn into the lizard. Also it doesn’t look like venom dies in movie three so there is also the chance that somehow carnage will come into the picture. I don’t know how they would do that but it would be interesting. As for all the other villains that have been suggested world wide I don’t think they are important enough to make a movie about. Just look at the movies so far: in the first you have the green goblin, the arch nemises in the comics who is very important and even though he dies, harry takes over keeping the ‘character’ alive to some extent, movie two there is just Doc Oc, another main villain in the comics, plus you don’t really see him die, just submerge in water, although i hardly doubt they will bring him back, and the third movie its goblin again, sandman, another very popular villain, and Venom, who is one of the best (I think). Dr. Connors is in all 3 movies so far so logically it seems they would have the lizard in the 4th movie and with venom surviving in the 3rd (guessing), logically you could spawn carnage from venom. As for all the other possible villains if they make a 5th or 6th movie the only ones that seem logical would be mysterio and chameleon, or Kraven and the Rhino. And as for the final spiderman movie you have to wonder, since its the last it’s most likely going to go out with a bang…either meaning a bunch of villians or a big ass super one, such as carnage or mysterio, an end of the world plot or something…. it really makes you wonder. As for tobey he needs to stop being a pussy and just stay as peter parker cause i dont know about you all but tobey has been burned into my mind as the face of peter parker, and it would totally kill the series.

The lizard is deffinately the most likley villain for part 4 because of the role that conners played in 3. Carnage is still a possibility because:(spoiler alert) conners ends up keeping a sample of the symbiote and that thing has got to go somewhere.

i hate kraven the hunter. period. never liked him, never will, that’s me. unless one of you can convince me otherwise. And as much as i would love to see mysterio, his costume is far to ridiculous to be made into a movie, and any change to the costume would be bad for publicity. although he could work if he were more of a joke, like–this guy doesnt really like spiderman, but doesnt really have the resources to do anything about it, so he confronts spiderman, but he doesnt even want to fight him because he looks so ridiculous. that scene would either end in mysterio somewhat injuring spiderman, so he is taught a lesson, but isnt really injured to bad or anything, also, he could be reasoned with by spiderman and told to just go home. It would be cool to just kind of poke fin at the character.

Venom is not dead. You only saw a little section of the symbiote after the xplosion die. He will be back in Spiderman 4.
I think Lizard will show up, but in the end of SP4 you will see Venom going to jail meeting Cletus Kasady aka Carnage setting up for SP5, if it happens.

Well I really liked spiderman 3 and I thought they were done. I mean I thought this was a trilogy lol!! I fiqured if Spidey keep on grossing this much money they would continue…. but I mean they have made tobey spidey!!!! Can they really continue or even try to make jake spidey????? Im afraid if they try and change the main actor then they next movie will bomb!!! In SpiderMan 3 Harry is killed, the Sandman disappears, and Eddie Brock along with the Venom symbiote is destroyed using a green goblin bomb. The only Venom symbiote that is left is Dr. Conners sample. Eddie Brock has been killed so Venom is over, but Carnage can still come along in the series. The only reason Carnage won’t be in the series is if the SpiderMan production say that the movie will be too bloody(Carnage’s host is Cletus Kassady who is a serial killer). If Venom or Carnage isn’t in SpiderMan 4 the best bet for the villians will be Lizard, Kraven, Scorpian, or that new villian that is a vampire(Mornus or something gay like that). You guys have to remember that the SpiderMan series is probably only going to use villians that most people know of. It will confuse people if they put villians like hybrid, scream, lasher, toxin, phage, riot, or agony.

I liked Spider-man 3. I think it could have been a little better but i still liked it. I hope that venom makes a return in spider-man 4. The only possible explanation to that would be that when spiderman through the green goblin bomb at venom the explosion knocked eddie brock out of sight and blew the venom suit all over the place in little pieces. Once spidey left he didnt see brock lying down somewere and the venom suit re-collected itself and found itsway back to brock. I think that would be a good way to bring back venom. Lizard would be good for the 4th movie maybe sandman might show his face and hopefully we will get to see carnage.

From seeing the first 2 films and reading most of the comics, it’s obvious that the movies are different but not completely new. For example, I don’t recall Doc Ock killing himself to save the city because Spidey told him to. So I don’t think it will be all the same. I hope wee see Lizard as Doctor Conners still has the symbiot sample that Pete left with him from the 3rd movie, it would be a perfect set-up for his transformation serum. Also remember that Sandman didn’t die and Venom/Eddie Brock was not there after the explosion so I have a feeling he’s still there at least I hope he is cause I think he’s one of the most entertaining characters, though his appearance was strange in number 3, I always pictured him to be bigger and not a copy of Peters body. Also, there was a game released called Ultimate Spiderman and it’s story line was that Brock and the Venom suit were being pursuited by scientists, and Spidey had to save the scientists that had betrayed both his and Eddies fathers because he’s good lol but it was a really entertaining game none-the-less. I would also like to see Carnage so heres who I’m hoping for in part 4……

Uhm, you guys need to watch the movie more carefully. Eddie Brock didn’t survive the exposion. That bomb is powerful. He would be disentegrated & *gasp* he was. If you watch closely, you see Eddie Brock’s spine & rib cage engulfed in the explosion, meaning his entire being & flesh were ripped off & then his bones turned to dust…

Villains do not live for more than one movie. Venom may live but Eddie Brock is dead, no doubt. The reason Eddie Brock’s body wasn’t shown if it didn’t totally disentegrate is because his mangled & blown up body parts scattered would not be shown on screen. That would cause an “R” rating, minimizing the amount of people who could see the movie with ease & that would cost money and yes, in the end is is all about the movie no matter how much they love acting or making movies. the reason I have to believe that brock’s not dead and that Venom is still active is because Sam Raimi is not a stupid person and is a very clever director, he knows there is such a large fan base for Venom and that it will draw bigger audiences, the character is a step up from human in more ways than 1. Sam Raimi held out and made us wait for this movie where Venom would be unveiled to the world, but he isn’t actually featured much during the movie, I mean you see Brock transform into him, then deal with Sandman then have his confrontation. 3 scenes of a main attraction, it may disappoint some people but its clever on Raimi’s side because if the next movie does indeed feature Venom in some sort of way, those who were not satisfied by what they saw of him in the 3rd movie (myself included) will have a deep inside urge to go and see the monster more. I personally want to see a bigger bad ass Venom, who would not be killed off in a first fight.

Alot of people also believe Spider-Carnage might have something to do with this movie or the 5ht should the series get that far which I believe it will. Raimi is a well documented fan of Carnage and Rhino for that matter so I believe they will both feature in a Spiderman movie somewhere along the line maybe not the next 1 maybe not the 5th but I am sure they will appear at some time or another.

I thought Spiderman 3 was awesome!, Of course the graphics, but the ending relationship between Parker and Harry…kind of sucks that he died. Also I like
that Peter forgives Flint Marko, that showed Peter’s character. The movie is right
about us making our own choices, that we have the choice of doing good or bad.
Were not preprogrammed to do bad, we just choose to. I think it is neat that
they make movies with heroes, that we can strive to be like. Especially for little
kids, but for adults too. They don’t show very many good (clean) things on tv
anymore. I’m glad that Stan Lee and other people out there make up heroes
with good morals and ethics.

im gunna skip over 4 for a second but before i do i would just like to say i think jim carrey would make a great cletus kasady-he could pull off a super insane guy really well.
Anyhoo–i think movies 5 and 6 should be a two parter featuring the sinister six (with changes in members)
HERE”S WHY:
If they keep using villains 2 by 2 or 3 by 3, by the time they get to 6 for the finale, there wont be any good villains left. IF they did Sin6 in 5, there’d be none left for the 6th movie, if they save them all for 6, what could they do in 5? Two parts- in 5, development of characters (villains/ or MOST of them) + spiderman actually defeated (but not dead) in the end. Part two would be the rampage of the villains in all of new york, and the eventual defeat of them all + the birth of May “Mayday” Parker to conclude the films
VILLAINS
DOC OCK-Alfred Molina
The Return. flashback/whatever shows the arms lifting the unconcious Doctor Otto Octavious out of the water of the Hudson. Having learned his lesson from Peter Parker, he returns back to the home of his mother (he is a major momma’s boy in the comics) with no money, and the will to live a life free of crime, she is his only support (financially/emotionally) The doctor somehow manages to free himself from the mechanical monsters, but cant throw them away fearing he will be discovered. He then makes another significant scientific discovery. With the hopes of being free of his charges for making such a profound discovery. In a turn of events, #1-he releases his findings and is 100% wrong about whatever it is that he discovered. #2-Another scientist beats him to the punch on teh discovery. #3-another scientist steals his discovery and releases it as his own. (If #2, maybe peter makes the discovery) Otto is then not only humiliated by the scientific community, but the police know hes alive and are now looking for him. And to top it all off, upon finally making it back to his mothers house (its an extremely stormy night) he finds his mother dead near to an electrical poll, lying next to an unconcious ConEdison worker with a name tag that reads Dillon. . .
ELECTRO-Nathan Fillion
Maxwell Dillon (oddly enough similar to Doc Ock) has an overly protective mother. Her and her husband are very young in comparison to Max, showing he was an obvious accidental pregnancy when his parnts were teens. After being hassled by his asshole father to move out of the house Max counters with the fact that his father is jobless. Upon the arrival of Dillon at his job at ConEd, it is clear that he suffers from inferiority complex (feels he is and always will be balow others in status + low self esteem) when he is pushed around by his co-workers, and looked down upon by his boss. He wishes “they’ll pay one day” but is then pushed around more and forgets the ridiculous idea. A strong summer storm approaches, he is ssent to fix a power line. While working in the middle of the storm, Max mis-steps causing him to fall onto one of the wires he is working on sending thousands of volts of electricity through his body. A half second later, lightning strikes the pole where he is being shocked. The two intence bolts of electricity cancel each other out, but fill Maxwell’s body with an explosive charge. Walking home from church a curious Mrs. Octavious sees Dillonget shocked and fall from the pole. After asking the unconcious Dillon if he was alright with no answer, she moves closer. As she touches his neck to check his pulse, she is electrocuted and dies instantly.
SCORPION-Jason Staham
After Electro breaks into the daily bugle and steals a large sum of money, JJJ in his infinate wisdom concludes that Electro is really spiderman in a different costume. To Peter’s dismay, JJJ hires bulky private investigator Mac Gargan to find Spiderman/”Electro”. He is armed in a slightly futuristic looking green army uniform (nothing special). his arsonal of defense includes several poison containing grenades whoes contents are hightly acidic to all surfaces. After confronting spiderman and being relatively quickly defeated he returns to JJJ only to be sent back out again with a higher paycheck. This time he finds some kind of information which leads him to the area of Max’s electrocution. Upon knocking on the door of every house in the neighborhood he arrives at teh Octavious home and is abducted by Doc Ock and Electro. All agreeing in thier hatred for spider man, Doc Ock builds Gargan a backpack version of his tentacles containing one arm. Lacking the cybernetic technology to create the AI’s like in Doc’s arms, the claws and “eye” are replaced with a “stinger” (much like the spike that Ock uses against Spider man In 2)
CHAMELEON-Mads Mikkelsen
THE RHINO-Ron Pearlman
Sent by Sergei Kravinoff to retrieve thier “health” potion Dimitri (Chamelion) -(they’re both about 70) disguises himself as a loading technitian in Moscow airport, he then exports himself as a passenger as well as his commrad Aleksei (The Rhino), in a large container, onto a plane destined for new york. Mid landing sequence, they are discovered by a curious flight attendant who was
recieving compaints of knocking coming from the floor under the passengers (storage). Knowing they would be instantly captured on landing, Chameleon jumps on The Rhino’s back as he bursts through the bottom of the plane and falls about one hundred feet to the ground (remember they were landing). Subseqently the plane crashes and explodes causing a huge comotion, and quick arrival of the police and fire department. Surrounded by police, The Rhino uses his respective talents to beat the hell out of the unprepaired law enforcement officers. In the confusion, the chameleon morfs into a police officer and begins to use thier weapons against them. Unable to reach the airport due to a lack of tall buildings Spiderman waits and hopes (or doesnt hope) that the villain will make his way into the city so he can be faught. Eventually this does happen, Spiderman is beaten to a pulp by The Rhino, while the chalmeleon disapears into an observing crowd.
SANDMAN-Thomas Haden Church
The past few years have been better for Flint Marko’s family, secretly obtaining different jobs he has been able to support his daughter and has provided money for her continued health. But things have suddenly taken a turn for the worst, her illness has gotten worse and reequires immediate operation for her survival. Flints money was only enough to barley pay for her medication, not even if he used every penny the family owned would he be able to pay for the operation. So he seeks the help of his friend spiderman, but him and mary jane are in a bit of a financial bind themselves. Marko becomes angry but understands and controlls his anger the way peter had taught him. but there is no time and he is desperate, he has steal more money as the last time. He is confronted by spiderman nad given a “you cant do this” speech. Next #1-Sandman gets away but doesnt get there in time. #2 spiderman LETs him go but doesnt get there in time,. #3 Spiderman stopps him from stealing the money, and his daughter dies. Although reluctantly, hte sandman once again becomes an enemy of Spiderman.

In Spider-man 4 Lizard and Kraven are DEFINITLY gonna be in it. If anyone says other wise there TOTALLY WRONG. If Raimi is doing what i think he’s doing then Spider-man 3 was the start of the symbiote feud.(I.e. Venom and Carnage, he would most definitly change how carnage is created, if he didnt he would need to add the other symbiotes because carnage is created in jail when the black symbiote took back over Eddie Brock(Which he is dead now)).Rhyno might be in it because he could be another target for kraven. And lastly all this talk to murlun of whatever his name is, is a load. So you people might as well get that out of your mindset. Why would they just up and put some unknown vampire in a movie and Raimi is steering away from magical themes which elimanates Mysterio and all other vampire characters.
