Wes Craven has been quoted for years as saying that a fourth Scream movie would never be made. It now looks like he’s becoming more open to the possibility.
“Actually, I recieved a call about that for the first time the other day…” Craven told a crowd at the New York Comic-Con. “Obviously, I’ve been asked about that for a long, long time… I think that it’s not completely off the table at this point, as far as the studio making it. I was asked if I’d be interested, but I said it would depend on the script. [Scream 4] isn’t something that’s around the corner or anything, they are now thinking about it.”
Someone call Kevin Williamson quick! Get him started on a new script. It’s not like he’s busy doing anything else. Actually last we heard from him was 2005. Williamson must have a great idea for a fourth film. Afterall, his career depends on it. And I’m sure Neve Campbell is probably dying to do a cameo. But I say forget her, move on - start over.
I think there is still room for more Scream movies. They need to recapture the smart ideas that made the first film great. And please avoid the self referential movies, with actors playing characters…etc.

man SCREAM 1 - 3 are my fav movies i watch them all the time. EVERYONE growin up in there teens loved them.. best movies wes craven is one of the greats. and if he makes SCREAM 4 i will be luvin life:) lol hurry start filming i want a SCREAM 4 or should i say STAB 4 ? =P

Im all for Scream 4, but if they wreck it like they wreckd I Know What You Did Last Summer I will be very mad. The first 3 rock and they have something different about them. Scream 4 needs to be original and have a connection to the first 3. If this movie dosn’t have the real Sid, Dewy, and Gale andthey use low budget ne actors i will be angry and I wont pay to go see it!

I RECKON SCREAM 4 WOULD BE GREAT BUT IT HAS TO BE ORIGINAL AND A WELL THOUGHT OUT STORYLINE..FOR ITS BEEN 8 YEARS SINCE SCREAM 3 SO THE PLOT HAS TO HAVE A NEW TWIST THAT WILL GUARANTEE TO SHOCK THE AUDIENCE AND MAKE IT WORTHY TO WATCH AND MAKE IT A SEQUEL IN ITS OWN RIGHT AND NOW JUST A SPINOFF…IF IT DOESNT THEN ITS GONNA BE A DUD LIKE THE I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER SEQUELS. I loved all the Scream films..except when they killed off Sarah Michelle Gellar’s charcter in Scream 2 that dissapointed me..I still have to say the FIRST SCREAM is the best

I think if they make scream 4 that it will be about whats his name that got crushed in the first one might not actually be dead or something like that. I havent seen scream 2 in years and I want to see but i just can’t track it down. I think if they make a Scream 4 movie and if its succesful they may make a prequel to the first one. Or they’ll just maybe make a scream 5.

I watch the scream movies religiously. I have seen scream 1 150 times exactly, i know every single word to all 3 films! I could say EVERY SINGLE LINE TO ALL 3 MOVIES EXACTLY WHEN THE CHARACTERS SAY IT!! I would love if there was scream 4!!! but if you make a scream 4, you MUST keep Neve Campbell, david arquette, and courtney cox in it! Sydney shouldnt die! it wouldnt be right because she is the star the main character! but make it a good one!

I love all of the scream movies! i know all the words to all of them! you need to make a fourth 1! scream was always the hit horror classic, it was always the good movie that had shocks, scares, and it made sense. Iv seen the movies so many times that it feels like I was friends with sydney, tatum, randy, billy, and stew in real life! make a 4th 1!!! make it good! stick to normal things!! make a 4th!

I love part 2 and 3 is best role and talk so psych. I love psycho actor talk that way make sefl reflect who are… make self think who is right hard to believe… But I think charcter “Cotton” isn’t dead yet… forget shot his head same time. But problems Neve Campbell want worth mulit -million dollars… But Neve Campbell seem too tired to play in movie I seen her not in movies as much last film was The Core. Si my opition she really not flexible with get low paid than another people do. But their games shall started with sequels as Stab 4 but not sure 100% but problem they had conflict with actress Neve Campbell would refused do it in the movie with low budget as my far 85% So I like Psychotic Mickey their way to expression take blame on Sid’s boyfriend in Scream 2!
