Didn’t Paramount Pictures learn from the Cartoon Network’s mistakes? Guerrilla marketing was so five years ago. In today’s fear obsessed world, people are stupid.
To promote the upcoming David Fincher film Zodiac, Paramount is plastering light-poles in major cities with original police sketches of the actual Zodiac killer. It’s a very cool guerrilla promotion, but will people understand it? Sure the bottom of the flyer reads “In theaters March 2nd”, but can America read? I mean, we’re talking about the same people that thought cartoon characters were terrorist bombs.
Earlier this month, Turner had to give Massachusetts $2 million for causing a terror scare with Aqua Teen Hunger Force Lite-Brite displays in locations around the city.

The Zodiac killer murdered five known victims between December 1968 and October 1969. No substantial connection between the victims has been discovered. The killer’s identity remains unknown forever as the San Francisco Police Department marked its investigation “inactive” in April 2004. DNA testing seemed to rule out their lead suspect.

The Zodiac killer mystery intrigues me, I mean they never found the guy(I dont think atleast). What if hes still out there? The movie sounds good so far, I’ll definately see it.

i think the zodiac killer is really interesting. i’m researching him for a report for my crime in america class. he was one freaky killer. they’ve never caught him, they’ve been really close though. in some of his letteres he sent to the police dept in san fransisco he told them how he was the guy they walked past and simple mistakes kept them from catching him a couple times. nervous people smudging the fringerprints, inaccurate descriptions, that sort of thing. it’s pretty crazy. oh, and one thying that freaks me out is he wanted people to make a movie about him, he wanted public recognition. he tried getting people to wear buttons with his marking on it. isn’t he a nutcase?!?!

Well we think he looks like a nerd, and is prolly a virgin,
he looks like he was always getting picked on! but seen is how his girl
broke his heart, that is why he is killing everybody, did you know that
all of the victims were friends with his girlfriend, and that they are the
reason that they got them broke up, cause they accused him of using
drugs. And the whole zodiac name get real, that doesnt mean anything,
that is just a scam to try to trick the cops there is really more than one,
he kills the vctims but his hit men plan the rest thats why they have
caught some of the wrong people. which they were part of it but they
didnt really do the worst..! thats my opinion!

Who knows if the guys even alive still. I mean they thought he was between 25-35. So if he was 35 today he would be 57yrs old today. So its very possible hes still out there….but no letters have been sent to the SFPD. So the score still remains =37, SFPD=0. Whoever this zodiac is one sick person,but yet could possibly be a genius.
