Imagine watching the latest Hollywood action movie in your local multiplex when a SUV comes barreling through the theater wall during the film’s big chase sequence. I’ve always wondered if this has ever happened. Turns out it has, but instead of a popcorn action flick, it occured during a screening of Dreamgirls.

According to the reports, no one was hurt, even though the SUV came within inches of some moviegoer heads. I bet there is a lawsuit here somewhere.

“I never thought it’d be here in the theater, especially while the show’s running and a couple people are in here watching Dreamgirls. It was just surreal shock,” said movie theater owner Robert Sadlon.

Police charged the driver, 46-year-old Diletta Squires, with driving under the influence.
