Breaking: Wal-Mart wins Digital Movie Race
Wal-Mart has become the first online digital movie download service to score contracts with all six major movie studios: Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Sony, 20th Century Fox and Universal. So far Wal-Mart is to be the only online retailer to carry all six big studios.
New Movie downloads will run from $12.88 to $19.88, while older flicks start at $7.50. The bad news is that Wal-Mart have decided to give the downloads DVD pricepoints.. This is why Wal-Mart will fail. The consumer does not want to spend the same amount of money and get less (less resolution, less special features, case, art, booklet, disc).
Wal-Mart will also carry TV shows from the Viacom networks - Comedy Central, CW, FX, Logo, MTV and Nickelodeon. They will try to compete against iTunes with a $1.96 price tag per show.

My favorite part of blogs is that most bloggers can’t spell or write very well. It’s always amusing to watch someone holding forth as if with authority while presenting misspellings and grammar gone awry in support of the thesis.
“…Wal-Mart is pricing the flicks at the same price as it’s in-store DVD’s” indeed.
Blog on, o thou imbeciles!

I agree with you. But please understand that blogging is my job. And unlike most people who can take sick days, or personal days, I must post at times when I am not capible to write at my best. Last night I was both sick and tired. So I apologize for any grammar errors I may produce. They are much fewer on a normal basis.

This blogger rocks, it is the insufferable grammar nazis who are the true imbeciles. Get a job and lose the nit-picking rants loser. This blogger has more ideas than you will ever have. William F. Buckley? You aren’t bright enough to shine his shoes.
