Warner Home Video has decided to make a direct to DVD sequel of the hit vampire film The Lost Boys.
The Lost Boys 2 is scheduled to begin production in 2007, but they don’t even have a script. Yes, you read that correctly. They are courting a few different directors, and as you may assume, they are iffy on the No Script “Thing”. The only thing that Warner has is an idea. And a simple one at that: “The story will revolve around surfing vampires in Southern California.”
Executive producer Richard Donner talked about doing a sequel that would show The Frog brothers (who were played by Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander in the original) starting a vampire hunting business that would take them on a journey to Washington D.C. That would have been a great film, I kid you not.
We assume this storyline will probably be abandoned for their genius surfing vampires idea. But IESB is reporting that Feldman has been approached for the sequel. And what else is he doing now-a-days? I assume he’d jump at the chance to do another movie.
The original film was released in 1987, starring Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Dianne Wiest, Edward Herrmann, Alex Winter, and Barnard Hughes. It was about a group of kids from Santa Clara, CA who come up against a gang of motorcycle riding teenage vampires. The film was directed by Joel Schumacher.
Did You Know: Kiefer Sutherland was only meant to wear the black gloves while riding the motorbike. However, while messing around on the bike behind-the-scenes, he fell off, breaking his arm so he had to wear the gloves through the whole movie to cover his cast.

A sequel to the Lost Boys. In a word “IDIOTIC!” To wait 20 years to make a sequel to a movie with no returnable actors is just a plain waste of money. Are we really running on such a short supply of ideas that we have to ressurect a movie from 20 years ago to make a sequel. How about movies that have never been done, such as one for the Thundercats. We have Transformers, and rumour has it G.I. Joe is supposed to appear in the near future, why not keep the trend going.

I hate Warner Bros. For giving Corey Haim the shaft!Give the guy a break he is doing every thing he can.What more do you want?I swear if Warner Bros. makes a Crappy Lost Boys Sequel with out the two coreys & original cast I will be pissed!How could they do this to us?We have been waiting & hoping for a Lost Boys sequel for 20yrs.!So what if the cast are older you can work off that & add a few youngsters like Cory Haim is an Uncle & he goes to stay with his sister & his mom in California after his failed marriage & his sister has a 16yr.old son who is getting involved with this new genaration of vampires but the new genaration of vampires answers to the older generation of vampires these vampires have been waiting to get their revenge on Haim & Feldman for 20 yrs. for what they have done to them!They have been gathering strenth waiting for this day when haim starts seeing faces from his past & he starts to notice his nephews involvment with these shady characters & suspects they maybe a new genaration of vampires his only hope is to find the only person who maybe able to help him stop these young blood suckers from taking his nephew forever.That when Corey Feldman & the frog brothers come in.The frog brothers have been working as pest & rodent exterminators & they have been training & waiting for a chance to rid california of the biggest rodents of all.The blood sucking Vampires!So Haim & Feldman don’t waste anytime going over a plan that the frog brothers have been working on for 20yrs.!What could go wrong?When a visit from a face that they both never hoped to see alive shows up one night!They soon relise that they are gonna need a new plan fast!THATS ALL FOR NOW.I have been able to come up with an excellent sequel for the Lost Boys & If any one would like to know more or use these ideas & more e-mail me at spokendestiny@hotmail.com SAVE THE LOST BOYS! There is no point in making a sequel if they aren’t going to make it the correct way. I am personally seeing these stupid , poor quality sequels to some of the worlds all time favorite movies , when the sequels are so far off from the original film. If the sequal does not have the original cast then I sure as hell wont even bother to buy it or watch it. Warner Brothers is a shady company, asking Cory Feldman to take part in the cast but not asking Cory Haim. The industry needs to give Cory Haim a shot, after all they seem to promote that stupid coke addicted Lindsay Lohan.

Why would Warner due that to the Coreys they could wrote in corey haims drug addiction as he was seeing Vamps everywhere and couldnt deal cut to 20 or so yrs later hes clean and sober but he realizes that their really are Vamps everywhere and their hunting him now so he calls for reinforcements the frog brothers who knew that this day would come and they are ready but the final battle it seems like all hope is lost cause alan frog is dead and sam is hurt but michael is there to slay the vamps and rescue the remaining frog and sam

I loved that guys sequell idea and no kidding the shouldn’t do the movie if they don’t have the coreys in it I mean really what the hell it could be a great movie not some crappy flop cheap vampire crap I mean if I wanted to see that I would rent buffy again lol… I really hope Warner re-thinks this and John you really should write that all down and throw it to the coreys or warner cause it’s awsome. You know Corey Haim deserves the shot here and it’s not like feldman is doing much either sheesh,,, ps when I was growing up I thought feldman was the hottie but man oh man maybe it’s the drugs cause haim is looking mighty good these days,, I wish them both the best of luck,,, as a little girl they made my bedroom wall quite the shrine and I thank them both for all the hours of movie watching enjoyment they gave me and I love the new show,,, I think now would be the perfect time to but them into a good lost boys sequell cause I know I would certainly go and see it with them in it, even if it was simply out of pure loyalty.

I’ve been waiting all of these years for a LB 2, so the powers in charge better do it right by honoring the original. Cameos by the two Coreys AND Kiefer Sutherland are required. Otherwise this straight to video release will more than suck.

I just dont under stand how you could do this and not bring back the orginial actors to do a part two. I am so upset i will not waste my time or money seeing this. If they do not bring back Corey Haim and Corey Feldman and Kiefer Southerland back I will not even bother it just would not be the same .

The Frog brothers are exterminators because it would be funny as hell!I can just see Feldman& Jamison over doing a simple house extermination & being a couple of screw ups but perfect for vampire slaying!I do think that most of the movie should be based around Corey Haim & Corey Feldman thats why I think that Jamison should get killed by kiefer sutherland early in the movie.I think that kiefer sutherland was the head vampire & thats why he did not die in the first Lost boys like everyone thought.This would be the surprising twist that the sequel needs to be more interesting.Kiefer kills Jamison to entice Haim & Feldman to seek revenge & seek his Layer.Haim & Feldman drive to the Navada desert to seek help from an old indian guide that speaks to them in their dreams.They soon relise that slaying the head vampire(Kiefer)is going to be much more difficult than they ever imagined!With the help of their indian guide haim & Feldman train their bodys & souls with various indian spiritual rituals to prepare for Hell on earth!!! I can see The Lost Boys sequel in my head from begining to end! I just think that this sequal deserves a fair chance but it has to be made the right way & with the original cast & director(Joel schumacher)with a few fresh faces like(Shia LaBeouf) as Corey Haims nethew!Corey Haims mom(Dianne Wiest)asked Corey Haim to come back home to help her with his nethew(Shia LaBeouf) because she is noticing familar behavior as her oldest son(Jason Patric)in the orginal film.She suspects he maybe in a similar situation she hopes Haim can contact Feldman & Jamison to save her grandson from becoming LOST Forever!When Jamison was driving alone late at night to catch up with Haim & Feldman in Navada(Kiefer)caused(Jamison’s) car to lost gas & when(Jamison’s) became stranded on the side of the road (Kiefer)Decided he was gonna make(Jamison)Suffer!Stricken with grief when Haim & Feldman learn of the tormented death of there close friend (Jamison) Haim & Feldman are not sure what to do with out the help of there fallen comrad(Jamison).But when(Jamison)speaks to Haim & Feldman in there dream while they sleep in the indian reservation he gives them both an idea which could bring the head vampire(Kiefer)down to his knees!!!The Vampires can’t fly over the indian reservation because of the spiritual grounds that surounds the reservation.So the indian reservation gives Haim & Feldman sanctuary from the Blood sucking Vampires who watch them close by.Just to give them enough time to figure out exactly how they want to carry out(Jamison’s)plan!Haim & Feldman are free to walk off the indian reservation during the day but when the sun sets they need to be back on the reservation for safty but when Haim gets stuck outside the reservation past sunset Feldman Fears for Haims life & afterlife knowing that it would’nt be long before(Kiefer)Discovers that haim is not on the reservation & that (Kiefer)will send out his blood suckers to find & bring haim to him so he can use Haim as bait to get Feldman off the reservation.Feldman knows he can’t let Haim get captured by the vamps or (Kiefer) will gain all the control & many people will lose there lives or even worse there souls!Luckly the vamps do know that haim is off the compound but when (Kiefer)Focuses on Feldmans strange behavior he notices feldmans strange heart beat & when he relises that Haim has not been seen that night he soon realizes that Haim is not on the reservation & that he has just a couple hours to hunt haim down & capture him before sun rise.He knows that Haim is close he can feel his heart beating.Haim is hiding in the field about 40yrds. from the reservation.Haim signals Feldman with the reflection from his watch & when Feldman spots him he knows he has to try & get the vamps attention on the other side of the compound so that Haim can make a run for it & hopefuly make to the reservation before(Kiefer)finds him hiding near by.Feldmans plan begins to work when he toys with the vamps by crossing back & forth off & on the reservation but just when (Kiefer)Notices the diversion.Haim makes a run for it Running fast for his life!As Haim dives toward the reservation(Kiefer)Grabs Haims ankle & as Feldman pulls on Haims arms to drag him all the way across (Kiefer) bites down on Haims ankle & says Now your mine!But I think that Haims now half Vamp will give them just the edge they need to succed in hunting(Kiefer) down & send him straight to hell for sure this time!Haim can sence where the Vamps are at all times but just as he can see what they see.They can see what Haims sees.That when Feldman spraypaints the inside of a pair of sunglasses so Haim does’nt see what they both don’t want the Vamps to see!!!Let me know what you guys think!I have much more ideas for The Lost Boys sequel but I want to know what you guys think of both of my post & all of my ideas so far!You can reach me at Spokendestiny@hotmail.com Please SAVE THE LOST BOYS!!!

The original was just that,an original and the finale did scream out for a sequel at that time.You can see failure written all over this idea.it just seems to be a rushed idea to make a quick profit on a classic film.Leave sleeping vampires rest in peace.

Ya need to watch the episode 5 of the 2 coreys to know y Haims isn’t in LB2..they tried to accommodate him but he was so high he couldn’t even remember 1 line. He blew it and has no one but himself to blame..Which is so sad.That kid needs God or a bullet.

I think the sequel should be about star and micheal havin a baby thats like a half vam or david comin back from the dead…..i hate the i dea of these surfin vampires… it sounds corny…i have been a vamp for halloween since i was 4 just cuz of this movie…they can’t ruin it like that… they should have the original cast in the movie like the two corys,star,laddie micheal yea that would be awsome..
